1. one button to switch ON and 1 to switch OFF
or
2. shake your smartphone to turn ON or OFF the flashlight
The Led flashlight works even screen off (except shaking it)

This is a R&D Project meant to control phone with gestures irrespective of the FRONT CAMERA. We use PROXIMITY SENSORS to detect gestures made by the users. . This is in Beta Testing Phase.

What happens when one shakes their device to send feedback for Google Maps? Will the flashlight turn on?
Could be handy for those who don't have Lollipop, perhaps. I suggest adding any permissions required to the Play Store listing. There's only 1,001 flashlight apps.

This app has very low consumption of battery when battery saver is enabled. Vote and share options are two buttons in the main menu for voting the app on google play and for send the link of the app to a friend.
If shake detection sensitivity is very low, low or medium, there is no confict with Google Maps shake feature for feedback because this one is more sensitive.

I’ve just found not an awesome discover, but a simple bug regarding the flashlight. So this post is just informational.
What happens: the “Flashlight is on” notification shows at the notification center and there is no actual LED on.
How to recreate it:
• Open Camera app
• While on the camera, Chop twice (moto gesture).
• Press home button and check notifications.
How to solve it: Chop twice to turn on the Flashlight (for real), then repeat Chop gesture to turn off.

Looks like they fixed it in N. While in camera, the double chop gesture is disabled now.

- Enable SMS blinking function, you need to enable at Notification Apps list.
