I can't find any information on this, does the Mix 3 have a notification LED? If so, does it have an RGB LED (I'm probably asking for too much aren't I? haha)
Due to the large screen to body ratio I might be worried it's not part of the design.

Answer if you're looking for it: Yes, it has a single colour (white) RGB light on the top of the screen
I'm sure I saw an image with an led but I can't find to confirm

I doubt it. Has AOD
afaik it is has a white one like all recent xiaomi devices. which is quite a bummer because I miss the rgb options for different apps

MIUI has support for RGB notification lights so if its not supported right now I wouldn't count on it at all. Near 0 chance it has a RGB light

Yeah, even tho I love the hardware, I'm not buying this thing until Lineage OS gets ported.

There is currently no RGB setting under MIUI10.

Maybe he is talking about the ring on the middle button? You know the white one that likes to run in circles when you get a text message or a missed call...?

I thank you sooooo much, i almost return the phone. thanks again.
im just installed liquid smooth and was charging my phone when i noticed the led was blinking, alternating between green and yellow. as soon as i turned on the screen, the led went to orange. im still figuring out how the yellow was showing in the first place, anyone have any ideas?

just found out there really are 3 colors: red, green and orange. i ran the built in htc function test and it tested those 3 colors

it's red, green (and probably blue)... if so, it's RGB configuration, so any color is possible

I also have only orange and green. No red, no yellow. Unless you count the charging LED which I have labelled orange as red.
There is 'amber' and 'green'. If both are on at the same time, the result looks yellow.

That's not a very good picture, I can't make a determination based off of that. If you post a clearer one I can definitely help you.
It kind of looks like a Chinese replacement screen. I'm not 100% sure with the picture supplied, but I'm going to guess that's what's going on.

You are probably right. Cause my Nexus 5 is white but handset(ear speaker) is black. Is there any way to solve issue?

Well respawn, you can test it with some LED notification apps. Change the color see what happens. Otherwise you can replace the light yourself if it's damaged or return the device (assuming the seller didn't say the LED light was broken) Hope it works out for you.

I tested, nothing changed except color.
Somebody told me maybe this yellow thing(under the picture) just moved. Is that possible?
I got a little money back. So it's not a big problem but i wanna fix it.

Yes like faded . No it hasnt auto updated..

Is it normal that during the notification the LED does not turn off completely when blinking?
I have noticed it is more of a breathing effect then a blinking one. So I would say yes.
