I was thinking of getting the One Plus 6 (or 6T). It would be my first phone with no (user) replaceable battery, which concerns me, as I like to keep my phones for a long time. (My current phone is a Galaxy S5.) With my previous phones, I would buy replacement batteries when the original ones started to hold less charge.
So, my question is how hard is it to get the battery replaced, more specifically in the US? Does anyone know the approximate cost and where to send it?
Following...
the part is really cheap:

Do you know who could replace the battery after we get the part? I've seen a video and it doesn't seem hard, but I'd be more comfortable letting someone who knows what their doing do the job...

That's the price for a replacement if you send it to OnePlus.

there is a video on this.... it includes a link to all parts needed and seems pretty straight forward.
I'll tell you from personal experience, it's much harder then it may seem on the videos. I swapped the back cover on my Gunmetal 3t, and wasn't worth it to be honest. Would be worth the few extra dollars to have OnePlus do it instead
I believe there's a service center in tx
Again:
Where can i buy original battery for OP6?
UP!
Any place here to buy original OP6 battery?
Want reserve one for 3 years from now replace....
I'm sorry to give this thread with a shovel...
But i was searching around and did not find this answer anywhere... Could a op6T battery fit in a op6? Could the op6 take advantage of the extra juice?
Thank you in advance!

Mr. WootRoot just bought it.

I didnt know theres a 3200. I have the 2800. I doesnt give me twice the battery life of the stock battery
I think is better just buying a second stock battery especially since there are only $25.
They apparntly dont even show the 2800 mAh battery on thier website anymore lol.
Are there any more comparison pics or reviews out there? I am beginning to think I should have just gotten this and not a bunch of standard batteries. Swapping them is a pain, especially with Swype crapping out after every restart.
I bought the 2800 mAh and hated the way it made my phone feel and look. No cover for the camera lens either. I used it for 4 days and went back to my stock battery. My phone obviously lasted longer in between charges, but not enough for me to keep using it.

'cause then you need to turn of the phone, swap the battery, wait for it to boot again.
I'd rather have it all in one.
I've decided to just go with a Iogear GearPower Portable Battery. I think it is more versatile.

i know it looks ugly but wootroot said he got 36.5 hours on heavy use! i mean, i use my nexus one HEAVILY and i get about 5.5 hours before needing to charge it. u can get it for $70 on ebay so you save a little money, i have the money (i sold my dock and some stuff for the sole purpose of getting this thing) but now that i have it, i dont know if i wanna buy it. its seems too expensive, but charging this thing 3 times a day is starting to get really annoying. if i do, ill post up some pics.
Use coupon code DFN10 for 10% off your order ($50 or more). I don't know when it expires though, but use it ASAP.

So this (http://www.htcexpress.com/batteries...-battery-sprint-verizon-incredible-droid.html) seems to be one of the best batteries aroung as well as the Mugen 1800mah. My question is, while Mugen should fit perfectly, I couldn't understand, after reading most of batteries thread till page 6, if the Chichitec need the label to be pulled out, someting to be cut, or fits perfectly.
Then, if something is needed, would there be any risk.
And the last thing, which one would be better in terms of runtime?
thanks
In the future, just drop your questions in the battery threads.
Using these batteries that are not meant for the G2 is fairly straightforward. The only truly necessary thing is to take the wrapper off of the battery, and then use a portion of it to cover up the part of the battery that would be touching the SD card slot in the phone; that's the only risk, the phone may short out if the two metals touch each other.
I believe both of them offer similar battery life; both stay true to their capacities, and are quality batteries. I bought the Anker 2-battery set and am very happy with it.
Going from stock to evo 4g battery then to a mugen 3600 mah, i would never go back. I dont give a crap about the bulk when I can play n64oid for an hour or two a day without any scare ill run out of battery. Without emulators I hit about 65-70% when I lay down at night. With stock I would hit 20% or so at night.

How do the Anker 2battery from amazon compare to the stock battery? Does it last much longer?
Since this thread was already bumped...
Can someone gimme a link to, or tell me where to find this huge "Battery Thread" that I see people keep referring to? I've searched and looked all over, and I find all kinds of battery related threads, but don't think I've come across the "epic" battery thread. It should probably be a sticky... then again, since I'm a noob, for all I know it probably is.
I don't understand why people would still buy the chichi battery when you need to modify, clip tape, etc. if you can just buy the Mugen which fits perfectly. I think people originally bought the chichi battery because there wasn't an extended one yet for the G2, but now you've got lots of options.
Plus, the one and only time I ever bought anything from chichi tec I had to return it and they wouldn't answer any emails and don't have a phone to call, I had to file a claim in PayPal before I could get a refund for my "guaranteed return".
i've had an awesome experiance with chichitec i plan on buying another perhaps mugen though more expensive, and really, seriously, the modifications are a joke, took me 15 seconds to do....anyone who complains about that should get over it. You are on a forum where we modify, hack, and otherwise tweak and customize our phones way beyond what the manufacturer intended so taking the label off a battery is just too easy a mod to complain about lol. Anyways never used a mugen but i get 25 hours plus moderate use with my chichitec so zero complaints here, especially when they are dirt cheap.
Check this one: GOLD BATTERY
...Im not sure but I think somebody else has posted this link in another thread.
I will go for this one myself, as I do hate my HTC DZ not lasting more than a day, but I would dread making it twice as thick! ...this battery (despite the alleged huge capacity 2430 mAh!! ) manages to maintain the original/OEM battery size...

Also found that local store sells some kind 1500MAh batteries for DZ, might just grab one of those. Looks like it's X-power.

Apologies if this has been asked millions of times before but are these expandable batteries worth the price and will it give me a big increase in battery life?
Specifically, I'm looking at the Mbuynow 6400mAh battery for my S4. The price seems fair but with all these third party batteries, are they what they say they are? I've heard good things about Mbuynow but wanted to be sure. Has anybody bought this specific or a chinese similar 6400mAh battery and have seen an increase in battery life?

Yeah the price is fairly cheap for what is named an "expandable battery". The size is somewhat proof that it could possibly be that size but then again it could be a 5000mAh.
There is this review that uses a 3900mAh version and quite slim but specifically I am wanting to know about their 6400 version.

fake. likely under 5000 mAh. if even that. the best battery makers can only squeeze 5200mAh into a batt that size. what makes you think someone can do better for a fraction of the cost?

But that battery is bigger than standard but smaller than the ZL 7500 etc so why isn't it possible? It is between both and as such the size kinda makes sense. That being said yes the price is very cheap hence our doubts, even if you find it is only 5000 that's still a lot more than the standard battery for very little money.
It will be interesting to see what is reported back

That looks like a good option for those who want extra power but not so much added bulk. Anyway anyone tried it yet or going to try it? Another one that would be worth hearing about.
Just a question
I bought this Mbuynow 6400 mAh battery for my s4, I have cm12 optimized ROM. (5.1.1) . It seems the phone recognised as 2650mAh, and let me a day active usage only. In the Stweaks option I changed the charging power to 1900mAh... The charging time is about 4 hours.
Its still on 24 hours usage time.
Question: Is it the max lifetime of this battery? Or needs manual calibration?
If anyone can help me please...

I currently use this battery and I can say that it is very very good considering the price. I can charge my phone and use it at medium to maximum usage and forget about charging for the next 2 days. on average I get 9+ hr sot
hmm i came across this wonder if legit http://www.ebay.com/itm/4300mAh-780..._Phone_PDA_Batteries&var=&hash=item2ed08a5e96
Feedback's pretty good on the seller. Why not buy a set and post the results?
some company called MPJ is also selling a 4300mah one which supposedly fits with the original back cover so it might be legit.
http://www.mpjbattery.com/mpj-4300m...900-g900m-g900a-g900t-g900v-g900r4-g900p.html
How long these will last and whether they do actually give 4300mah I have no idea, its a huge jump from 2800 in the same size so you have to question exactly how they can do that when samsung doesnt. Lets face it if samsung could produce 4300 in that exact same size and quality, even if it was a slightly higher cost, they would probably do it because the phone would destroy everything else for battery life with 4300mah as stock......and this makes me very skeptical.
Ideally what we want is someone to get some of the various higher capacity batteries from various manufacturers and do a few proper tests to at least see for sure how much longer they last when in use. We still have no idea how many charge cycles you will get with it still being that high but if it lasts for a year and really does give 50% extra capacity for that year then its probably a good buy. The danger even if it gives a decent boost for a few weeks during the initial tests is that it then starts wearing off and ends up worse than a stock battery after a month or 2. There HAS to be some catch somewhere or samsung would surely make these themselves and flog them at a premium for users that want extra power.
The key for me is being able to use the original cover as I dont want extra bulk.
We have to wait and see I guess.

HMMMMMM "Best replacement for the original battery with comparable standby and talk time" say what?!? isnt the point of an extra 1500mah that it lasts a LOT LONGER, not "comparable". They also list the wrong model number, since when is it i9600. Personally wouldnt touch that with a barge pole. Also seems far too cheap to be even close to decent.

Also no NFC. At $6, it might be worth it as a spare.. but I agree their marketing is sub-par... of course it comes from China so that's to be expected... You'll see that Amazon claims 17-28 business days shipping, so it's definitely coming from either China or Hong Kong...

okay fine.. May i ask you here case and battery together sell here ?
hey guys i bought a nexus 5 second hand it looked like its been used alot - the battery doesnt seem to hold up great
do you guys think its worth replacing the battery? it looks easy has anyone else done it recently i know after like 600 charges the battery life takes a massive hit - the phone was released 1 year ago so may have gone through approx 400 charges...
Yes its worth it as long as you have some experiences with small devices. Anyway, first make sure you buy the right battery. There are tons of videos on YouTube on how to replace the battery. Watch it couple times.
From my experience, remember to take your time and do not rush it. Sometime it can become frustrating when you can't get open certain part. If you can't, take a break, come back to it after couple hours. Good luck.
I doubt your battery life has anything to do with the battery...
See the battery help thread in my signature for help and tips on that. First 4 posts are important. ?
If you have an issue, or its your usage.... You'll be disappointed when you get your new battery for sure.
---------- Post added at 09:49 AM ---------- Previous post was at 09:48 AM ----------
Anyway, my point is, I'd rule everything else out first... Before spending money and dismantling your device.
I am definitely replacing my battery, but for anyone that has done it, where can we buy one?
There are tons of places that have them for sale but can anyone with experience recommend where we can guy a genuine one?
Thank you!
