Initial release
beta but quite solid already, some little bugs in customizations ( OwlsNest ).
all the customizations are not there yet, DUI smart bar not ready yet.
After initial setup the CPU work a lot and so drains the battery faster, it will be better after
For those who want to see screenshots, here a video for an other device, but near the same features for now :

From aosip team :
- November security patch
- a lot of commits since my last build : https://review.aosiprom.com/q/status:merged
From my side :
- Switched to moto cam (select 4k in cam settings / video size)
- inroduced an adblock
- slight input boost at touch screen ( 150 ms to 1401600 Mhz )
- A new governor ( Electron ) heavily based on interactive, but more battery oriented. default governor is still Interactive
- An easy method to switch to electron without root ( as i don't like to have to root ) : just create a folder named "electron" at the root of your internal sdcard and reboot. if you want go back to defaut interactive just delete this folder and reboot
- An easy method (without root) to slightly decrease max cpu freq from 2016000 to 1958400 Mhz, it's really a little step down in frequency but that reduce consumption from 4087mW to 3585mW at full load. : just create a folder named "freqdown" at the root of your internal sdcard and reboot. if you want go back to defaut max value just delete this folder and reboot
- So to summarize: if you want perf, just stay like that. If you want a little bit more battery reduce max freq (freqdown) or switch to electron . If you want really more battery switch to Electron and reduce Maxfreq
Power consumption is nearly linear before 1689 MHz, power consumption start to increase exponentially after 1689 MHz.

"If you don't use it" So if you don't use it .... useless to have some services running if you don't use it , that's all

I will try this one! thanks!

Will try also
Any lags? In Alberto's AOSP I still have some eventual lags.
Tks

I will try it in some hours! But can you say what features and bugs the rom has? Thanks!

I will try now! Thanks!

Please upload some screenshots if you don't mind.

excellent rom, stable, in this short time I have not seen failures, the only bad thing that happens to me is that it drains the battery very fast, and the line for support of gcam is disabled in build.prop and when I enable it they break the stock camera, apparently there is no support for gcam ?

Very good! Faster and lag free.

Good rom , when it will get more options could be perfect ...

Indeed, same here.
Quite fast and no lags. Good work!
I know OP mentioned, however it is good to point it out: the first time I clicked on the Battery settings in "Status bar settings" menu the whole UI restarted.
But it ws just the first time. Now it is fine.
Tks.

Yes, updates soon.
Everything is perfect and super smooth... Just one request... make the navbar more customizable, give option to set long press, double tap action... (plz don't refer gravity box ) and I think gello is worst browser, don't know why cm use this!
wow cool to checkout new rom's coming in thanks man
@Carlos Arriaga im not able to find msn hotplug (there is only mp decision) as you have written in kernel features that it has been included
Damn good ROM! Fast and smooth. Everything is working fine, it's stable. And this bootanimation, it's great!
I'm not using Play Services tho, I am using microG, and GPS works just fine, as everything else
I found one small bug - when Selinux is changed to Enforcing, and you try to change it back to Permissive - you can't and setting app FC, but it's not a big deal
Just Wowwwwwwww.Stable,fast,feature riched. Hats of to the developers

Is this update still showing the same multiple repeated statusbar options?
There is a old thread for Temasek here, you should merge that thread with this one so there isn't any confusion, just ask that thread's OP.
Anyway, this is my favorite ROM by far (still on old v7 build though), I was myself going to compile this ROM as the old thread has been abandoned but I'm glad that this ROM is in better hands now. Going to give this build a try but it should be fundamentally the same as dev has not done any heavy customization.
Cheers to Arriaga!
Hi @Carlos Arriaga , thank you very much for your builds, can you upload a build with kernel straight from cm source ?
thanks
Smooth, fast, but I´m having troubles with recent apps slim and omni, it crashes everytime.
Letting that issue aside, everything else works perfectly.

+1, Maybe make a seprate thread for your kernel or provide an additional flashable zip file.
Also, you can add a "temasek" tag in your future builds at the download site to avoid confusion.

Governors only for XPerience project
Alessa:
A less aggressive and more stable ondemand modified by TeamMex. A good compromise between performance and battery. It can be used with the complementary hotplug governor.
This governor is a balance between performance and battery.
XPerience:
The governor aim for an “ideal frequency”, and ramp up more aggressively towards this freq and less aggressive after. It uses different ideal frequencies for screen on and screen off, namely awake_ideal_freq and sleep_ideal_freq. This governor scales down CPU very fast (to hit sleep_ideal_freq soon) while screen is off and scales up rapidly to awake_ideal_freq when screen is on. There’s no upper limit for frequency while screen is off.
This governor is a balance between performance and battery.
HOTPLUG:
Alessa Hotplug:
A simple hotplugging driver optimized for dual to octa core.
When the device goes into idle state, the hotplug is responsible for moving the processes to a single core, keeping off the cores that are not in use.
And it lowers the frequencies to the lowest possible, but without getting to remain in a deep sleep of which it does not wake up.
Note:
Touch boost enable only if you do a hard work if not maintain it disabled .

Moto Mods are not supported
AOSP is Android as Google release without other modifications, similar to Pixel/Nexus stock rom but without gapps.
Features such as Chop Chop, Double Twist, Fingerprint sleep and Ambient display gestures are kept.
Google does not release an AOSP Browser anymore since Marshmallow, thus there isn't a default browser. If I find the time I might port and revamp it in the future.
Installation
Make sure you have a nougat (or oreo) bootloader and modem else TWRP denies the installation by throwing a message about the wrong bootloader. Further details and a guide to upgrade what you need without losing data here.
Requires Unlocked Bootloader & a custom recovery (at least twrp-3.1.1-1 is required for 8.0 and 3.2.1 for 8.1)
Place ROM & Gapps in your virtual SD
Reboot in Bootloader Mode
Go to "Recovery" (Vol +/Vol -) and confirm (power)
Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Dalvik cache
Install the ROM zip
DO NOT REBOOT
Install the Gapps zip (arm for 8.0 arm64 for 8.1) (optional)
Reboot

Great, Alberto.
Testing now!!
Thanks for the ROM. I have been facing a problem in volte feature. On lineage I am unable to use it and I can't make or receive calls from VOLTE. Moreover the LTE works only on second sim slot. Is there any chance I can fix it with this ROM?

yep, good job Alberto
For those who like slim approach.
Regarding features, The rom come with night display and usual gestures (lineageAction). May be i just miss the navbar tweaks, so i have simply removed the navbar to use a virtual button app.
Smooth and good battery.
I really enjoy it :good:

What works:
Boot
Touchscreen
Sensors (same bugs as in MM)
ADB, MTP
Vibration
Sound
Camera
RIL
SD mounting
WiFi
Deep Sleep
What's not working:
Bluetooth
GPS (or unstable - GPS HAL is just copied from Xperia Arc S)
720p video recording
Adaptable storage
Mobile Data
What's working, but needs some improvements:
Sensors
Camera (for 720p recording - use Footej Camera)
Camera Preview - wrong orientation sometimes
Memory management - LMK is not working as it should (kernel needs to be updated to nougat)
Recents button needs to be configured manually in settings (buttons tab)
'Bluetooth sharing' crashing at boot - to get rid of that annoying message:
go to settings > enable developer options > open dev opt > wait a second > click mute
How to install
Same as in MM, but...
If you come from latest MM beta (with block based OTA fix) - Wipe SYSTEM, CACHE, DALVIK CACHE
(if installation stops in half - flash MM from 10.05.2018, then wipe everything again and flash nougat - I don't know how, but it's somehow working)
If you come from earlier version - just wipe SYSTEM, CACHE, DALVIK CACHE
If you come from Lollipop... You can try leave data partition from LP, but probably it'll not work (bootloop)
If you come from KK, JB - Wipe everything

Does that mean, zRAM is - generally spoken - without function or is there still any benefit running that way?

a bit faster random access. Even if LZ4 is fast - it still needs to be decompressed. 368MB of zRAM is enough to disable compression anyway.
This rom is EOL. I'm working about 10 days on Slim7 - after some benchmarks I'm shocked - 1,2k more points in antutu compared to LOS
The Mobile data still not working though.

It's faster, but due to worse memory management every app needs to be running in swap, so... practically slower
Probably GCC Os flag will solve this problem. I'll test that today and will give some benchmarks results.
EDIT: Changes in RIL.java between MM and N are not that big. It's funny how one stupid change can break mobile data connection.
Code:
rr.mParcel.writeString(Integer.toString(radioTechnology [COLOR="Red"]+ 2[/COLOR]));
'+2' is already set in this commit
Not tested, but it may work
Will you open a new thread for Slim7 or will you post it in here..???
btw: THANKS a lot, for still developing.
Sadly less people are interested in a new / latest & functional ROM it seems.
PS: Yalp Store instant crashed in the latest LOS 14.1 ROM (B2) after fresh install, but I guess that's obsolete now, because of working on Slim7.

Sadly, all the device-specific knowledge retired with the former devs. I wished, someone could make a (little) comeback and give a helping hand here and there.
But it must be said, that the state of Slim6 is a great success and I really appreciate your ongoing work here.
Bluetooth is working
EDIT:
Nah, pairing causes soft-reboot
Slimroms Slim7 Build #1 Optimized
First Slimroms build: DOWNLOAD
Works: same as in MM, but without mobile data
Not working - same as in MM
Bugs - Identical as in MM
Bluetooth, LMK, Adoptable storage are working.
Test and let me know how it's working
I'm wondering, if system's general memory footprint might be too much of a challenge.
Are there still options to optimize, like throw out non vital stuff and/or substitute sysapps with other lightweight FOSS versions?
Is a further update planned?

MoKee Open Source is the biggest non-profit Android Open Source development team in China, with members from all parts of the world. We follow the latest development from Google closely and improve various parts of Android according to the user habits. Being a non-profit organisation, we utilise our spare time and own funds to keep this passion alive. Therefore, the costs for the forum and servers are solely beared by us. In order to provide a good user experience, we only included a few preinstalls in the ROM. Along with the advertisements in the forum; we hardly get enough to pay for the bandwidth. The point is, those are our only source of income, however many developers choose to exclude them when releasing unofficial builds. Unlike CyanogenMod, we did not accept monetary help at the early stages, as in China, most people do not understand the meaning of “making a donation”. They would think of it as buying a service, which is conflicting with our objectives. Anyways, we still made it until today, and even started to provide third party developers a chance to utilise our OTA system. All of these are the fruit of our hard work and passion. We are proud of the happy users, and we are also proud of the support given to MoKee Open Source. Most importantly, we are proud of the improvements we have achieved all these while, and the advancements never stop.
Source mooke code changes currently implemented are:
Number of row in status bar

Your Vendor version ?
I love this ROM because many of legacy apps of xposed working fine like Xtoast
With K20 Pro Premium 512GB the original kernel bug is long boot, that can be fixed with kernel Immensity version LOS from sourceforge, every update I need backup the kernel and flash the ROM and Gapps (using BitGapps v13) and before reboot restore the kernel. Anyone can update Immensity kernel version LOS for this ROM?
I found bug to flash MagicApps or any module of Magisk from TWRP do not work (without solution) data/adb/magisk not found
Distortion of audio system when install Viper4Android or Dolby Digital Plus (can be fixed with installing Audio Compatibility Patch removing audio notification listener library even bug when media audio play and work again when system audio volume are tested changing volume in the system)
Complete audio do not work more when install Ainur Sauron, Audio Modification Library and Audio Compatibility Patch with all options (without solution yet)
Many videos go slow (some times can be fixed just pause and continue in facebook and youtube) I try found solution like codec nothing yet
To pass safetynet with edxposed have bug with fingerprint when the screen turn off somwtimes do not power on again the screen if the fingerprint is registered in the system (using magik modules SQLite for ARM aarch64 devices, SafetyPatch, GPay SQLite Fix Full Edition, MagiskHide Props Config, , PetNoires SafetySpoofer) the only solution then I found is remove all fingerprints
Bromite SystemWebview module bug the stability of apps in Mokee not only in K20, like in Nine email viewer

@jiraianam;
Why not use normal gapps ? Your gapps are from 2018 .
Edit : @]jiraianam nikgapps core and basic work. I tried 200119 versions.
@manuelbianco , flashed now with nikgapps basic first hours really great.Tried all roms without pre-installed gapps and till now this is one of the best , thanks.
Nice sound selection, many new tones. Less customisation but really stable and all works.
So less downloaded this great rom, under 100, but that's really worth to give it a try.
@manuelbianco , perhaps you make it also on telegram puplic, because there's the new playground today. More Roms, Kernels ect. there then on xda. You can see I'm a long time member and telegram is garbage for me but times changes.
@★Michaelo★; @MJ.nfl ; here are some navbar options like long press home for screen of ect.
Edit: Do you add ambient display wake gestures in future release ?
