My Xtrons HU PB68WRJP with Can Bus, has a little annoying problem with the faceplate panel illumination. The illumination is working only if I switch On the Headlights manually. Typically I have the lights in "Auto", but in this case nothing happens when the headlights are on.
I know that the control is done by the Can Bus and I tested all the possible combinations under the Factory Setting:
- Control by Headlight
- Control by Power
- Control by Power and Headlights
With the "Control by Headlights" setting, I have the previous behaviors, with the other settings I have the illumination permanently On.
Anyone can help me to solve this issue ?
Thank you in advance.
Anyone can help ?

Has anyone noticed this, especially in the dark, whenever you'd press the power button to activate the screen again a dim red light can be seen right side of the camera. No idea what the purpose is as it's so dim...

It's the proximity sensor. Detects whenever an object is nearby and performs it's action. It's the sensor that's needed to turn the screen off when you have it up to your ear while on a call to prevent any accidental touches from your cheek. The reason it turns on when pressing the power button is due to the adaptive brightness setting if enabled. It automatically dims/lights the screen depending on the environment and ambient lighting around you. The proximity sensor is what controls that.
You can use the Galaxy Button Lights app to turn off the touch key lights but is it possible to simply control the brightness of them?
They're rather bright when you're in bed in the dark.
Has anyone figured out a way to dim the capacitive buttons? Are the LED's used by Samsung even dimmable?
Not sure if I've done something by changing a setting but now the volume knob goes down when turning up and the opposite for the other way.
Volume works correctly via the SWC. Any ideas
so i solved this by resetting touch button panels as well as the knob control in factory settings. think i adjusted the knob control without realising
How did you reset the controls? Can you provide instructions? i have the same issue where down goes up and up goes down etc.

I'll check tomorrow but it was in factory settings and the knob control was on the wrong setting, think I just turned it to the next setting
it was: factory settings / other / Knob Mode: 0 8.2k / 15k ADC ports
Ehi guys!
i'm trying to switch off vibration on notifications (i don't mind about calls) based on condition, because i really can't stand my phone vibrating while laying in my table at work.
I've tried 2 solution, activate vibration only while in my pocket or while connected to certain wifi.. i have no problem with the triggers but i'm not able to actually toggle off and on the vibration..
i've tried both this script https://forum.xda-developers.com/u/tasker-tips-tricks/guide-silent-mode-android-5-tasker-t3345309 or the tasker plugin "sound mode" but they both toggle do not disturb mode, not the vibration..
i just want to:
1. vibration off + volume on while on the table
2. vibration on + volume on while on my pocket
Any help?
thanks so much!
if you have adaptive brightness enabled, adjusting volume via keyboard key, then tapping the screen while the volume dialog is still visible will disable adaptive brightess. not sure why. anyone else able to reproduce this?
looks like it happens even without touching the screen.
