Unable To Mount Storage TWRP | Internal Storage 0 MB - Samsung Galaxy J7 NXT ( J701F Core NXT Exynos 7870

Solution To Fix Unable To Mount Storage TWRP | Internal Storage 0 MB TWRP Error
Method01
Fix Internal Storage 0 MB In TWRP: Basically it’s happen because of encrypted system files of the device. So you have to decrypt it again to fix this issue.
First off boot device into normal mode.
Once the device booted properly, Go to phone “setting” >> “Lock Screen & Security” >> “Screen Lock Type” and remove the pattern lock and enable PIN Lock/password lock.
[Don’t use the pattern Lock or PIN lock or any screen lock]
Now boot the device again into twrp recovery.
Here it will ask you to enter the password to access twrp recovery. Just enter the same security PIN/password of your device [Only if you are using PIN lock but avoid pattern lock].
Now it will start decrypting system files of the device and you are free to create nandroid backup, restore ROMs or can wipe data by factory reset without error.
This time it will not show you internal storage 0 MB or unable to mount data.
Done!!!
Method02
Fix Unable To Mount Storage TWRP: If you are trying to factory reset your device using twrp recovery and it’s displaying unable to must data then follow the below instructions.
First off all remove pattern lock from device and add PIN lock/password as a security lock as shown in above method.
Still getting “unable to mount storage twrp error” then go to main menu of twrp recovery.
Click on “WIPE” option >> “Advance Wipe” >> select “Cache” >>click on “Repair or Change File System” >> “Change File System” >> click “F2Fs” and “swipe to Change”
Again Go back and select >> “EXT4” option >> “Swipe To Change”
Now repeat the same process with “System” option and “Data” option one by one.

I'll test the next one (Vou testar na próxima).

TWRP - Decrypt Data

Hi,
I've just installed TWRP for my Xperia XZ but I have a problem
When I launch TWRP I have a message saying the data are crypt and I need a password to decrypt it. If I said cancel I access the TWRP menu but in Install menu I can't find any file if I Select File from internal storage (0MB)
What can I do ?
Thanks a lot

problem-Twrp didn't show sdcard (internal storage)

Hi
After i install twrp v3.2.1-1 (herolte) on my galaxy s7 (sm-G930F) then i boot to twrp and ask me to swipe (right to allow modification)
And i swipe, after that i click the install button and then.. There is no sdcard (internal storage) it shows sdcard 0 mb while the external card shows normally but when i flash anything the twrp told me in red font (can't mount data) even i try to format but even that it says the same thing.
Please help me to to install the twrp recovery on my device correctly.
Note that I'm on android nougat 7.0
Thanks in advance.
Your device is still encrypted.
In TWRP go to wipe>format data that will delete the encryption.(But it will also delete ALL DATA.)
Then restart and swipe right to allow modification.
After that you should be good to go.

Hi! I did this to my Axon 7 now my phone stuck at "Your device software can't be checked for corruption......" screen. The phone cannot be turned off and pressing power button also not making anything to the device. I afraid that my phone is bricked. Before booting, after I did changing the system file type, TWRP said that no OS installed and it is very weird. Maybe somebody can give me any advice.
Is there a fix that doesn't involve erasing your data?

You wiped the system.
You can reinstall it or restore a backup if you have one

It worked for me made /data readable but when I rebooted the system (stock) all I got is the xperia screen going on a loop, nothing else. I had to re-installed the system and set-up everything again (system, twrp, magisk) but when I flash twrp and go to recovery I get that /data error again, wiping your internal storage doesn't help I get the same problem. When I install system (stock) I get this message "encrypting..." pop up when it boots the system, new clean install.

Great work! Yea this worked on the Pixel 3. Changed from ext4 and then back to f2fs and after that data was able to mount!
Greatly amazing! Everybody should read it.
Full Thanks.
This DID NOT workerd for me. Formatting data (or change to ext2 and ext4) only gives you TEMPORAL data access. After booting in the System then the data partition gets, again, inaccesible.

So what exactly are you aiming to do. I know if you just flash stock and boot the device, then reboot to fastboot then boot to twrp it should work fine. But if your trying to go straight after ./flash-all.sh then fastboot boot twrp then it wont work because the partition isn't formated yet

[GUIDE] I managed to remove encryption!

pretty sure this works, phone no longer says it is encrypted in settings, and i can browse internal storage in the TWRP file manager.
PREREQUISITES
This TWRP: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ho...p-ish-twrp-3-2-1-honor-9-running-gsi-t3818442
An 8.1/9 GSI
Unlocked Bootloader
HOW TO
Flash the TWRP from the linked thread in fastboot
Download the GSI of your choice and place its system image on LOCAL external storage (either a microSD or USB-OTG)
Boot to TWRP (if necessary change the language tfrom chinese to english in the settings)
select 'wipe' and 'advanced wipe', check Data, Dalvik, Internal Storage and Cache
Wipe!
Return to the main menu and select 'Install', Select 'Install Image' and browse to your GSI on external storage
Select your GSI, you will be asked to tell TWRP what its flashing, select 'System image' and flash
Return to the main menu and repeat the wiping step
Select 'Advanced' in the main menu and 'Fix DataEncryption', swipe to fix then reboot to system
You should now have an unencrypted device! (it worked for me)
I am not responsible if you brick your device, and a nuclear war starts because of it.
You WILL loose all of your data, so back up what you need first.

[HELP NEEDED] Cannot access internal storage from Recovery

Here's what I have done so far:
1. Set up MIUI with a pattern lock. Haven't done anything explicitly that will encrypt internal storage.
2. Applied for bootloader unlock.
3. Unlocked bootloader.
4. Flashed TWRP to recovery from Fastboot, then booted into TWRP
5. Formatted /data from TWRP
6. Rebooted to TWRP
7. Wiped /data, /internal, /dalvik, /cache
8. Flashed crDroid (A10).
Here is where the problem begins. I set up crDroid without any passcode or screen lock. But the internal storage is still encrypted. Now when I boot into TWRP, the internal storage is not accessible. Same with PBRP. Trying to wipe Internal Storage from PBRP makes it reboot. The log from PBRP is attached here.
How do I decrypt the internal memory so that I can access it via TWRP/PBRP? Formatting /data doesn't seem to solve anything at all.
The reason I want to decrypt internal memory is because I want an absolutely clean crDroid install with no prior data hanging around anywhere in the system.
