Google Playground (No Root) (8.0 Galaxy S8 Snapdragon) - Android General

Hi! I installed the ported Google Camera 6.1 APK, and I see all the features except for Playground. Is it possible for someone to port a Playground APK for Oreo? Thanks so much.

Snapdragon S8 doesn't have 8.1

Do you remember the Note 5 Korean variant that included UX? (variants L/K/S) And... then UX was part of the Note 7. The Note 7 FE is very likely to be the "testing device" for the upcoming Note 8. BixbyHome is inside priv-app... probably to be later activated via update by Samsung. This is the latest...
Enjoy!

Not likely my friend. Not impossible, but very very hard... virtually impossible. Note 4 stuck at Marshmallow plus you are probably referring to the Qualcomm variant... (not possible, since this is Exynos...)
can we get a zip of priv apps and apps for regular users so we can test the apk plz
once again welcome back
Beast! :highfive:
BixbyHome is there because it supports bixby home ...

What you're looking for may be here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/google-camera-mods
Go check it out
It's not. And I'd love to have gcam on a8 2018
Do you mean that you want to install gcam on your a8 2018? If yes, why not to directly get the app from Google Play?
The one from Google play is not compatible with the a8
If you want to install gcam mods then you must have camera2api and then you can simply download a modded gcam from their website and install

Is it worth it?

Hi everybody,
I've bought a Samsung Galaxy J5 Pro (2017) which was already upgraded to Android 9.0 which uses OneUI.
I don't really have a good relationship with OneUI, instead I like the Samsung Experience 8.1 UI which was used in Android 7.0.
Do you think it is worth it to rollback the device to Android 7.0 for the theme? Or if is there anyway I can use the Experience on Android 9.0?
Thanks for your time and help!

I recommend using newer Android version because of latest security patches. And some apps may stop working on older Android versions sooner or later. There are different themes for OneUI (via Samsung Galaxy store) ... or using a different launcher (via Play store).
Maybe you will find one looking like touchwiz or Samsung experience
