[Q] Galaxy s5 Odin and flashing

after towel was released at&t released a update which fixed the patch that was used to root in towelroot. I have heard that there are alternative rooting methods which I have tried that involve Odin. For some reason though when I try to use Odin it always told me fail and after a certain amount of tries in bricked my phone which is now in a boot loop. can someone help get me out of that bootloop?
I also have another question. Can't you just flash a older version of android to your Galaxy s5 and then use towelroot to root it?
(I am very new to this rooting experience and I would appreciate step by step guide)
Than you
You probably had "fail" message because you hadn't disabled the option "Reactivation Lock" in Security settings before using Odin.
To fix your phone, just boot in Download Mode, then flash a working firmware for your S5. Do you how to do that ? Can help you if needed
I also have another question. Can't you just flash a older version of android to your Galaxy s5 and then use towelroot to root it?
Yes you can, but prefer using newer version for you'll have better performance and security updates.

Kingroot now supports rooting lollipop 5.1.1

Kingroot is one of the most powerful rooting apps. It can root almost any Android device with a success rate of 97% and it's a life saver for not so popular Samsung galaxy grand max.
Earlier it was not working on lollipop 5.1.1. So some tried to root with CF-Autoroot but its rooting is unstable. But now it's back. Now you can successfully root your grand max 5.1.1 with this new Kingroot app.
Here's the link to download it

Thank You.
alas the 2015 dual 4g sim Samsung Galaxy J7 SM-J700F with only 1.5 gig ram and with the bootloader opened in the setting etc does not root at all, i suspect the files the kingroot is trying to push to the phone is making it run out of ram ,even with nothing new installed . |o(

Is poppy root on my galaxy s6 from verizon with 7.0, G920VVRS4DQD1

A few days ago I did the upgrade to G920VVRS4DQD1 7.0 on my Galaxy S6 from Verizon with my bootloader blocked and I wonder if it is possible to do root in this version and on this device, I tried to do the root with a new file that I found in CF Autoroot But it tells me to fail on odin and on the device tells me Secure Check Fail: Recovery, and you know that with a blocked bootloader I can not have twrp, does anyone have a solution for my big problem?
There is no root available for 7.0 Nougat at this time

Used S6 and have no idea how to root

I've researched multiple rooting tutorials and have found a lot of guides based on the auto-root file from www(.)autoroot.chainfire(.)eu
However, I still do not know what to do with this. From my research I found out that there is a possibility that the bootloader is locked and that is the reason I am scared, if I brick this phone I will not have a phone for another 2 years. If I flash a new clear android 7.0.0 stock for the S6 without the O2 addon bloatware with the bootloader locked it will brick my phone since this is some sort of security feature.
What I want from my S6:
- VERY good security, I will be banking on it alot, using android pay, etc so I need it to basically be hack-proof etc. Im not going to install apps like lucky patcher which are not from the play store.
- A new clean stock version of Android 7.0.0 without so many O2 apps that I cannot uninstall.
- Root access to remove certain system services and increase my battery life
I am a previous root user, 1 year ago being on my rooted S3 which I rooted using KingoRoot with one click. Now I come back year later to a new phone 3 generations down with things like the locked bootloader and KNOX. Could anyone explain what I can do at this point?
Phone specification essentials:
Name: Samsung Galaxy S6 O2/EU
Model Number: SM-G920F
Build Number: G920FXXU5EQE5
Android Version: 7.0
Knox Version: 2.7.1
The device still has a simlock, and I was told that the sim lock is installed in the ROM. So if I were to flash Im assuming the simlock would be removed however I still have a pending order for the unlock code coming in 7 days.
Try with a TWRP and a Magisk' - SuperSU it's a will be less-stable for now' (Seriously who are be use at This for now?)
Addition advantage it's a doesn't Permissives of a Magisk (Still "Enforced")
