Treble Pie ROM? - Huawei P20 Questions & Answers

As some websites have been selling bootloader unlock codes recently, been wondering if it is possible to get a working AOSP 9.0 Treble ROM on the P20. If possible what TWRP should I get in order to flash 9.0 ROMs? And what are some of the best treble ROMs that support the notch?

Official Custom Roms

Can we expect official custom roms like Lineage OS or RROS when/if Oreo with treble is released? I don't see any of that happening on other Honor devices that already have Oreo.

about Installing a custom treble rom from EMUI 5

Hey, I'm debating If I want to take the leap and root the honor 8 already , I wanted to know If I install an Android 8.0 my phone will support Treble Or I need to install the EMUI 8.0 Rom first for the support and only then install Lienage or something like that....
also, is there an android pie 9.0 treble rom for our phone?
Thanks

To use any Treble based ROM, you have to first update to EMUI 8.0. Look at all the Treble based ROMs present on OpenKirin's website. They'll provide you with the best support.

You must first upgrade to EMUI 8 to get treble support.
Then you must NOT use TWRP to flash openkirin treble ROM, as stated in their install instructions.
See their thread/site/telegram for magisk instructions.

Is possible create GSI port Pie Emui 9.0?

I know it is possible and some developers did it but they are for Snapdragon only.
Is there one for Kirin devices? I would love to have EMUI 9 in my Honor 8.
That would be amazing but...unfortunately not possible at all. If you want you can taste Pie with a custom rom (like OpenKirin Omni Pie)

Do we have a stable Treble GSI for the device?

Hello, my friends,
I'm planning on getting the S10e Exynos version (because I live in Europe) but I don't know which custom ROM in the Project Treble thread is fully compatible with the device. I would like to unlock the bootloader after the expiration of warranty and install a custom ROM on this phone. Do we have stable sGSIs for the S10 series in the S10/S10+ thread? If not, what Treble GSI in the Project Treble thread is the best and most stable one?

Gsi

Has a anyone tried the GSIs with Android 10?
We have now treble for the S8 and working s8/s8 plus/note 8.
There is even an official ASOP out by phhusson
