Hi all,
We recently worked with TWRP on an official release for daisy. We're back with some more good news! We're sponsoring TWRP, OpenGapps, and PHH-Treble. While the results of our partnership with TWRP are obvious at this point, stay tuned on more details on the other two projects.
We're working with some other high-profile project teams to add them to the roster, but in the meantime, if you want your project to benefit from our support, let us know!
We'll be introducing a bug bounty program for projects we partner with in the next few months. This means that you can be rewarded for discovering bugs and submitting fixes for tools you use like TWRP and ROMs like PHH-Treble. I'll update this OP with more information as it becomes available. In the meantime, here's a link to a post that describes our 3-step plan to get you to customization nirvana.
Thanks!
, Guava.
Have you considered reaching out to Ubports for Ubuntu Touch?
Would be another great selling point.
The lineageos support would be the biggest added value!
Hi guys,
I know this isn't the right forum to discuss about the A2 (Jasmine). I'm really happy that daisy has official TWRP. And it's going to get a lot of custom roms and other development. Is there anyway you guys could help the A2 community? We haven't got official TWRP yet. Or any kind of development. I don't know why people are not interested in Jasmine. It's a great phone. Please let us know if there is anyway to reach out to dees troy to ask him to build twrp for us. And some devs to build custom roms for us.
Thank you in advance
Yes, brother, need TWRP for our A2 device. thanks a lot!
I guess we need miui rom for a2 lite xd

Is anyone interested in joining a private bug bounty for the Mi A2 Lite? We're talking TWRP, PHH-Treble, OpenGapps.
I think the best way is for you to reach out to some well known devs from Mi a1 who might be interested in this stuff

Hopefully as fast as they released it for Mi4i. I get my Mi4c in a few days
Got my Mi 4C here... Really needs some stock Android.
Hey,
i'm too, very interested in this phone. I'm coming from the oneplus one. I like flashing custom roms and having a stock android/aosp experience.
Is the bootloader and everything else open with this phone, so that the development will be up to par with the one of the opo for example?
Thanks!
If anyone here uses Twitter, maybe they could kindly tweet Hugo Barra of Xiaomi to ask him:

How fast was it after the phone released? And where did you buy yours from?
Cyanogenmod 12.1 is available now,but I cannot create a new thread.
OK, so I'm building nougat based on CAF sources that have launched yesterday CyanogenMod 14.
I need help of some developers and testers so that i'll be able to boot it successfully.
Need testers!
I have worked on many such projects. I had been the first one for booting marshmallow on my oneplus2 too.
Current status:
Building cm14, bootloops.
@vache has taken over making cm14
Given the device, I would have proceeded but I do not have enough time to work on it now lol

Edit 2: Sorry for the delay, had had a finger hairline fracture while goalkeeping. I had switched to making cm14 as a new ROM seemed meaningless as I'm already going to bring halogenOS here.
Edit: Head over to github.com/Nougat-Athene which is the organisation. Just ask for invitation if you'd like to help
Note: This is strictly a development thread for nougat development for the Moto G4 Plus. If you want to spam this thread please do not comment!
I would love to help test
Thanks a lot. To builders, I'm making steady progress compiling. I've got inline kernel compiling and everything on now. Just some more changes and we will have the first build. I'm locked out of my own server now ? So wait for tomorrow!
Edit: Maybe we could make an organisation and work together too.

Builds can be built. Just have skme issues. I'll fix them when I get back home. First build will be till Friday night. So be prepared!
I could have done today itself but had my birthday so had to go out for dinner as well as lunch.
PS: do not spam the thread with wishes xD pm them if you wanna.
regalstreak
You can call it a full fledged nougat rom based on caf specifically for moto g4 plus. Hence it is taking some time. I'll add some useful features too when it boots!

Hi guys,
I was on the look for a new phone, and i knew i wanted to try MIUI this time for real. I landed on a Lenovo K6, without actually checking that it already had MIUI. So since i've had some experience with building CM/Lineage ROMs earlier, i decided to try to build MIUI this time. After all, as they say in Top Gear - "How hard can it be"? ..eeeh..
So there you go, i dedicate this thread to porting/building MIUI 8 for the Lenovo K6 since i cannot find it anywhere else.
I've downloaded the MI source files home and inspected a whole lot. Unfortunately i've had a internet connection that belongs to the 1980's during the summer vacation, but i am back at work on Monday. There i have a Ubuntu workstation which has a proper connection. So i am going to start experimenting a bit and try to get the proper device-specific files, and then do some builds.
But i can always need some help from you guys. So please reach out if you want to participate in this project. I am going to host the builds on my own site when i have something, and put the links here.
Reserved.
Oh, and btw, just created a Github repository: https://github.com/faabak/patchrom_karate
Reserved!! Yupí!!!!

Hi everyone,
After I received my BV9800 Pro I noticed that this smatphone's users are ALIVE on different forums and I am not feeling alone on the Earth with this smartphone ? so we already have a good root solution with Magisk, now we need working TWRP. With TWRP this beast will be even more awesome!
TWRP DEVELOPERS - WE (ALL BV9800Pro USRRS) ASK YOU TO MAKE TWRP AVAILABLE FOR US! CAN YOU DO IT GUYS?
As I have seen somewhere, You had TWRP for all MediaTek devices, unfortunatelly I didn't made it work (I think because of lack of knowledge I have).
If there is anyone who knows how to make it work - we welcome You ?

Ok, I will try to get other users on this thread.
Personally me too- i will donate too
Ok, So funny thing first...
So I have requested for TWRP on xda-developers.com, expected to get some voluntary help from guys, but have received a request to donate the amount of money required for developer to purchase this phone, so they could develope TWRP for it. And I thought... It's about 400€+, well You know (ehem...)....
Then I found this awesome service at Hovatek with customer support. They replied promptly and sent me working TWRP within a day or two for free, no donations required. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY THE BEST I HAVE EVER FOUND! If I will find myself in situation anytime in future - they are the first I will go with!!
Ok, so now, ladies and gentlemen, I share the link for You to TWRP by Hovatek: https://forum.hovatek.com/thread-32580-post-188379.html
P.S., PLEASE READ THIS SHORT THREAD IN THE LINK FULLY, TO AVOID ASKING WHAT I ALREADY ASKED THERE.
Oh, by the way, one user reported this works on BV9800 as well.
GOOD LUCK!
Who are those Hovatek from Nigeria though? I wouldn't trust anybody, without getting the source code as well.
If they are legit and all, shouldn't they push the source code to TWRP repo as well?
Hi, which rom are you using for oneplus 9?
Unfortunately, the rom support for this model is very bad and many developers have stopped developing roms for op9. I'm looking for a rom that can get continuous updates. Best regards
JaguarOs for Android 11
NamelessOs for Android !2
These two roms are getting regular monthly updates and both are great.

For Op 9 and 9 pro finish
"Evolution X" I love the customization it has. Which is why I haven't updated to 12 yet lol. I will sometime. Love the rom though
Personally, DerpOS, which has both OP9/Pro support. Make sure to check out the pro XDA forums, as you'll be able to find many new ROMs outside of just on here.
I used to run EvoX, which is a very good A12 ROM, but when compared to others, isn't updated as much (I believe it's still on the Feb patch). I haven't heard much of when it's planned to be updated, as it's still migrating between maintainers at the moment.
A12.1 builds for the OP9 are limited unfortunately, as LineageOS 19, at the time of writing, is the only "official" one I know of, which you're able to do if you're happy flashing GAPPs.
However, many ROMs have A12.1 working in testing, though not officially released yet. Hopefully you'll see them pop up within the next few weeks, once they've passed their maintainer's QA checks, though I can't speak on their behalf (they'll be ready when they're ready). I'd personally be comfortable in flashing either one of these, as their developers seem very dedicated to supporting the device into the future:
StagOS, DerpOS, DotOS
StagOS in particular is also the only ROM I know of that are working on OOSCam. It seems their progress is coming along well, but you won't find it in any of their public builds as of yet.
As mentioned by a couple of people earlier, though I'd love to recommend Nameless as it's a fantastic ROM, it isn't being maintained at the moment. CrDroid for the Op9, though on paper is maintained, hasn't been updated for a while and the developer has been somewhat MIA. Love to see either come back though.
Personally, I'm still undecided. I saw that someone had problems with the Evox and with the derp very draining of battery. I would be tempted for StageOs ... but I'm still on oxygen 11.2.10.10 even if my device offered me the update to Android 12 C47. However if I do it I cannot flash rom!

Personally haven't had any issues with derp, though I did notice evox had a few weird bugs with material you in the latest update. To each their own, I suppose! OOS11 is still quite good, although I really do like the theaming in a12.
I have flashed all the roms possible. Stag and Evo are pretty gnarly, but I keep it stock OS rooted on 10AA because for some Reason, PuBG is not as smooth on any roms as it is on Oxygen, plus its like the Read-Ahead is way better. Everything Renders in much faster. Like its almost already all there. The Roms arent like that.
I kinda wish someone would make a Gaming Specific rom.
Bone-Dry nothing to it.

Thanks for this. I am so fed up with the bugs on OOS 12 and the app performance throttling. I have been holding off on unlocking the bootloader but I just can't deal with the issues anymore. Would be nice to see what this device can actually do... Sometimes it feels slower than my LG G8 with an 855...
I am waiting for official Pixel Experience so still OOS 12 for me
has anybody here tried lineageos on oneplus 9?

I realize! I'm relatively sure it's not being maintained though since then, and support for it has been dropped.
