Sigh, how embarrassing... Promise I know what I'm doing and eager to test. I have an open EU variant no problems flashing with branded base?
It seems to work correctly
Just dirty-flashed over Tizen v2 (20a) and looking good so far First impressions are good on smoothness (scrolling for example seems smoother) but very early days, so thanks a lot for the update... Can't see any obvious signs of TIM branding, shows as V20b-EUR-XX for me and 1st November 2016 security patch level...
Noob question... Do you need to wipe anything when dirty flashing? Do you need to mount system in twrp /always wondered what is that for? / before dirty flashing. And of course.. . backup first.
Thanks

I didn't (not even wipe of cache/dalvik after install) so a REALLY dirty flash in that case I didn't mount system either, simply flashed over the top of 20a (after taking over 4 hours to do a backup in TWRP - something seriously wrong there - must be a TWRP 3.0.2.1 / 7.0 issue as never seen TWRP that slow before)....

That's from dirty flash and not mounting system.
Full wipe (can always restore data later if you feel so inclined)
Reboot recovery
Flash 20b
Reboot recovery again
Boot system
Then restore data if impatient

It wasn't - the 4 hour TWRP backup was done from a clean install of 20a before installing 20b so can't be anything to do with the subsequent dirty flash....
Thanks al lot for the ROM! Working perfect till now! Keep going and merry Christmas!

Been running for a couple of days and I would say that Deep Sleep is better (so loss overnight is now 5-6% instead of 10-15% under Deep Sleep conditions) - anything else will be down to how we each use the phone....
Also feels less laggy than 20a - under 20a there was a clear pause when selecting an app to launch, or scrolling menus - this is much snappier under 20b
No Battery problems. It seems even better

No offense, but could you please not start a new topic each time you do a minor update on your Tizen ROM? All the dev section is full of your ROMs, this is like the third thread, is it really that hard to update the previous one or what?
Best rom!! Thanks

[L09/L19/L29][C432/C185/C636][7.0][EMUI 5.0.1] MagicRainbow v3.0 – European B394 ROM for Huawei P9 EVA
Contributors:
Tecalote
German-Thread:https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/root-custom-roms-modding-fuer-huawei-p9.2808/huawei-p9-rom-android-7-0-emui-5-0-1-magicrainbow-v3-by-tecalote.859343.html
I'm happy to present you my third version of MagicRainbow ROM for P9-EVA
Custom ROM based on European EMUI 5.0.1 Firmware b394
Release-Date: 12. December, 2017
You can flash over Firmware b386+ until b395
- not tested over higher Firmware Versions
Security-Patch-Level: 6. November, 2017 – Krack fixed
Developed on: EVA-L09, tested also on EVA-L19
Data-Files Patches: for EVA-L19c432 and EVA-L19, EVA-L29 cust 185 and cust 636
Data Files for Chinese Brandings – not yet, but possible - just ask
EVA-L09c432 don’t need data file patch – just flash Rom
Advanced-Settings made by KangV from Huawei Rom Team: for b394 - optional flashable
KangV Settings developed on EVA-AL10 – Hide Naviagation Bar don’t work on European Brandings
Current Status: stable
Requirements:
P9 EVA-L09 - EVA-L19 - EVA-L29 - without Provider-Branding
Unlocked Bootloader
Required Firmware: Android 7 b386+ (and higher)
Installed TWRP – I recommend you to use my extended Version of OldDroids TWRP 3.1.1-1
In settings of TWRP ) disable "Keep vendor partition mounted" - but keep the setting as it is: "Exclude OEM Path from data Wipe"
You can flash from Stock Firmware as well as from EMUI based Custom Roms (like MagicRainbow v2, @dkionline ROM and so on)
Installation-Guide:
For clean flashing delete your PINs and Fingerprint(s) in current system
If you have Xposed Framework installed – uninstall it, if you decide to flash dirty
Download the Files you need, copy it to your external SD and boot to TWRP
If you decide to make Nandroid Backup with TWRP or you like to wipe internal storage – do so, but after go back to main menu and "Reboot" RECOVERY – to restart TWRP before flashing steps
If your current system has Root – make Unroot now in TWRP
For SuperSU flash UPDATE-unSU-signed.zip (download from this site): https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63615067
For Magisk flash Magisk-Uninstaller: http://tiny.cc/latestuninstaller
After you have flashed Unroot with TWRP go back to main menu and choose “Reboot” RECOVERY – to restart TWRP
Go to Advanced Wipe – for clean flashing choose: data, cache and dalvik/cache – all other partition will be wiped by the ROM Script
For dirty flashing – wipe only dalvik/cache and cache – but I recommend clean flashing to have best results
Go back to main menu and open “Mount” – uncheck everything except “Micro SD” – Partitions will be mounted by the ROM Script
Now navigate to “Install” and flash MagicRainbow v3
After flashing, don’t wipe Dalvik/Cache again! – If your Phone is EVA-L09c432 you can just reboot now (first start will be until 9 min, if you took SuperSU Edition you have one extra loop)
But if your Phone is EVA-L19 or EVA-L29 – you must doing following step before Reboot Phone:
Go back to main menu, “Reboot” RECOVERY to restart TWRP and then flash the data-files_patch.zip for your Phone (EVA-L09 don’t need this step)
Setup your phone
KangV Advanced Settings:
If you decide to use KangV-Settings, which bring you a lot of customization for your Phone - you can flash the right version for Magisk-Edtition ROM or SuperSU-Edition ROM after setup.
At this Point many thanks to KangV for his great Settings!
If you decide to use another Launcher like Nova – don’t change the Launcher before flashing KangV Advanced Settings (if you like to use this Mod)
The Reboot after flashing KangV Settings needs a bit longer than normal reboot
KangV Settings for Magisk-Edition installs additional KernelAudiutor App. If you open the App you can enable init.d (optional)
If you decide to install Xposed Framework with Magisk-Edition, install it from Modul section of Magisk Manager (SDK 24) – but it will break safetynet!
Safetynet cannot come back “green” once you have Xposed activated on Magisk-Editon, even if you uninstall it – reinstalling ROM brings green safetynet back
With KangV Settings for SuperSU-Edition you can enable in More settings: Xposed Framework. Phone make reboot (start needs bit longer than usual) and you will find on a blank site of homescree the Xposed Installer for download and manager modules. In KangV Settings you can also disable Xposed Framework. So you can switch between enabled and disabled.
Xposed Framework has a FIX to stay activated (this Bug was on several Huawei Phones). The Fix comes together with KangV Settings.
KangV Settings installs additional PMPlus App – you can use it optional, if you like to activate “Auto-Launch” in Phonemanager.
If yes, just open the App PMPlus, go to install and after close the App. Open Phonemanager and you find additional: “Auto-Launch”. But now you must activate Autostarts of Apps manually, otherwise they would not start at boot or in the background. If you decide to use this, it is required to enable Magisk Manager /SuperSU in Auto-Launch– without enabling it to autostart Root cannot work. You must also enable Apps, which should receive Push-Notifications!
If you don’t like do manage everything by yourself, don’t open PMPlus, just uninstall the App with Settings /Apps before using.
The ROM is European, but Advanced Settings are made by KangV. He comes from China, thats why the Lunar component is activated.
To disable chinese letters in statusbar, go to Advanced Settings /Notification settings and disable "Show statusbar lunar"
Important notice:
Don’t use in More settings: “Disable Google Services” – and don’t use “Hide Navigation Bar” in Navigation bar settings. This is working only for Chinese Region.

Download data-files_patches (EVA-L09c432 doesn’t need!!):
Note: In the moment ROM is already flashed - dont reboot system now, if you have another model/cust than L09c432 - go back to main menu and go to Restart - BUT NOT SYSTEM, you must reboot RECOVERY to restart TWRP. Then go again to install and flash the (right) data-files_patch.zip for your device!
If you would flash it directly after ROM without restart TWRP it would not be succesful installed, because the Mountpoints after flashing ROM are busy. Thats why its neccesary to reboot TWRP after ROM Installation and then flash data-files_patch according to your model and cust!

Apps, you should not Backup and Restore with Huawei Backup: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74941931&postcount=80
Same with Messenger-Apps - dont restore WhatsApp and Co from Titanium or Huawei Backup (Push-Notifications will not working properly)
After restoring a TWRP Backup of this ROM, Bootanimation is lost, and theres only Android Logo to see on boot.... https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=745849072291697149
You can flash this zip if you are on MRv3 and you will have the Rom integrated Bootanimation back.
HWOTA zips for updating Stock or going back to Stock
Here is a very easy way going back from MagicRaibow-v3 to original Huawei Firmware with HWOTA.zip - but you have to do it with the right steps!
Note: To go back from MRv3 → to Stock b394, you can use the Download Files and this Guide. For other Firmwareupdates, you find a Guide here. It is described, how you can use this method simple by yourself: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75787156&postcount=3
Credits:
Many thanks to @Atarii for special Recovery - without this it would not possible!
Users can go back from this ROM to original Huawei Firmware with following steps - you dont need Unroot !
You have no risk to test this ROM and can easy go back to Stock. It should work from every Stock based Custom Rom.
It worked also from RROS -> Stock b394
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=75155089&postcount=314
It can also be used to upgrade from Stock b386 -> Stock b394
Note:
1) If you had first Stock Firmware b395 - and had installed after MRv3 ROM and want later go back to Stock Firmware - you must use the b395 HWOTA.zip. You cannot directly update to b397 or b398! That would fail! Thats why you use first b395 HWOTA.zip, after b397 HWOTA.zip and at last b398 HWOTA.zip
2) If you had first Stock Firmware b386 - and had installed MRv2 and later directly flashed MRv3 (over MRv2 without updating the Firmware) - you must use the b394 HWOTA.zip. After you can update to b397 and in the next step to b398. You cannot update from b394 directly to b398 - that would fail!
The right steps of flashing HWOTA.zips are dependend on which official Firmware you had installed before using my Rom (or any other).
b386 -> b394 -> b397 -> b398 (b397 and b398 only for L09 and L19 c432 at the moment) or:
b395 -> b397 -> b398
If your bootloader get closed (this is for example the case if you update from b386 to b394) you must reopen the bootloader and then phone makes low-lewel-wipe factoryreset. It is important that this reset is 100% successful - if not, you must perform this kind of reset manually (before delete all your pins, fingerprints and Accounts like Google, WhatsApp, Skype etc:
settings -> advanced settings -> backup & reset -> Factory data reset -> Erase internal storage -> Reset phone (internal storage will be wiped!)
Guide:
0. Make Backup of your stuff and copy folders from internal Storage to a folder on external SD (WhatsApp folder, DCIM, Pictures, Downloads...) Be sure in Developer Options is 1) ADB Debugging in charging mode and 2) USB Debugging enabled and of course 3) OEM Unlock (should be enabled by default if you are using Custom Rom)
1. Download right HWOTA.zip for your Device and Cust - unzipp it on PC - you have now unzipped HWOTA folder
2. Copy unzipped HWOTA folder to the main directory of your EXTERNAL SD (dont place it in subfolders!)
3. HWOTA folder contains 3 Files:
A) Folder with number (it is the correct Number of Firmware-Version) Inside are 3 zipped Firmware-Files - dont touch it, dont unzipp it!
B) EVA_xxx_nocheckrecovery.img
C) hwota_update.zip
4. Boot to TWRP and navigate to the HWOTA folder and flash hwota_update.zip
5. Screen become black and in a view seconds Stock Recovery is flashed and Firmware is loaded
6. EMUI Software Installing installs now the originial Firmware, wait until it is 100% and device will reboot
7. Go to settings /advanced settings/ Backup and restore and do a Factoryreset with wipe of internal Storage
8. Soon Factoryreset is finished and device begin to reboot, press Vol+ on your Phone to boot into Stock Recovery instead of system
9. Make Wipe Cache Partition!
10. Now you have clean original Stock Huawei Firmware and if a OTA is avialable - you can do it without problems (but SIM must be inserted)
Note: During the Upgrade - the Firmware zips inside the unzipped HWOTA folder on external SD will be deleted by Stock Recovery (unzipped folder can be used just onetimes) - if you decide to use it again in another situation keep the downloaded zip....

I couldn't wait and I installed from the DE forum. Dirty Flash on L19C432. Except the bug on K-Settings with left alignment, this is a blazing fast Rom. Thank you very much!
I want to use MagicRainbow with supersu and KanV settings I should download this one right ?
KangV-Settings_MRv3_SuperSuEd: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617953680
I have stock b394 with twrp 3.1.1 and supersu.
Could I make these steps.
- twrp flash unsu
- reboot to twrp
- advanced wipe data, cache and dalvik/cache
- Mount – uncheck everything except “Micro SD”
- Install and flash MagicRainbow v3
reboot

Yes, right
You need this KangV zip in addition for the SuperSU Edition Rom.
The steps are right.
Flash first ROM and wait until it reboot to the system (don't panic - first boot will be canceled by systemless Rooting with SuperSU, after it boots up again and needs maybe 9 minutes to start into EMUI Setup)
After setup you can boot again to TWRP and flash KangV Settings zip.
If you decide to change Huawei Launcher to Nova (or whatever) do it after flashing KangV Settings.
Wish you success and much fun with MagicRainbow
I am new to the huawei scene. I have worked on a lot of samsung projects but this is a completely new world. I have been using your v2 for a week and now cant wait to use v3. Keep up the good work mate.
Came from NewWorld 7, finally on Nougat this rom is fantastic, everything works so far, thank you very much Tecalote.
What's the difference between Magisk and SuperSU? Any major differences that would help? And also, when you have super su that means you can have Xposed? Thank you in advance and for the good rom

If you like to use Xposed Framework - take SuperSU Edition and flash after first setup KangV Settings.
It includes a patch for Xposed Framework.
You can enable/disable in KangV Advanced Settings /More Settings /Xposed Framework the Framework.
After enabling it you must reboot and find then Xposed Installer on a blank site of Homescreen. (for download and activate Modules)
Magisk Edition is for green safetynet, without Xposed.
Xposed cannot have green safetynet
On almost Huawei Phones Xposed Framework after reboot is deactivated by itself - it's a Bug on EMUI.
But not in this SuperSU Edition Rom with KangV Settings.
Xposed Framework will stay enabled until you decide to disable it

Nope, not in the European Firmware Rom.
NewWorld was on Android 6 with Chinese Cust.
It was working in European Regions - but no more in Android 7.
Nougat has more restricted rules and laws.
BTW: It was a part of the Phonemanager like the Permission Manager, which was available on Android 5 in Europe, and in Android 6 which Chinese Rom on European Phones.
It's interesting :
Phonemanager apk is the same on EVA-AL10 - there it has all those features.
But not on our branding.
I found no hack until now - but I am working on it
But otherwise Google Services are not running properly on Chinese Branding
That's difficult...
Magisk Manager Update available (for Magisk Edition)
If you restart Phone or open Magisk Manager may you receive an Update notification in statusbar and the phone vibrates - Magisk show you an Update for the Manager (Version 5.5.0.80). You can open native settings /apps / Magisk Manager /permissions and allow Magisk the permission for storage or you will get the question, if you open Magisk Manager (allow it). After let Magisk Manager download and install the new version.
Changelog see screenshots. After the update I had in advanced options "force encryption" enabled. if you get the same setting automatically, keep this as is

But you can also setup in Phonemanager "mobile data" and open the settings symbol and make there your settings (even possible notification in Statusbar)
After reboot your phone and after a while you receive notifications..
It's not the same than in NewWorld, but similar

Have you flashed the L19 patch for your cust immediately after flashing Rom before first Reboot?
Have you checked different settings?
1) In native settings /WLAN / WLAN+ should be enabled.
2) In settings /Akku right above the settings symbol / WLAN in Standby Mode = always on
(same setting for mobile data =always on)
MIUI Camera v2 - from Mi A2 series
Working on Oreo and Pie (TWRP or Magisk), with packages for AOSP and MIUI based ROM.
Test version includes files from BDD Camera booster patch for gcam fix (front and rear module) by BeatByDad (his work is based on RN5patch from nHappyMan).
For full compatibility (with also gcam support) use build.prop_edits addon to change build.prop
Gcam version suggested
Info:
For AOSP
From dumps of Mi A2, the Camera app works on Lineage 15.1 with the help of some libs, so I've made my module to use it on Los. Thanks to others finding I've now found my perfect combination of options and quality so far.
I've solved sound issue and made a fingerprint shutter toggler (TWRP only) that works system wide.
Note: The camera don't needs camera2 api but works with it enabled too.
For MIUI
The MIUI packages are a simpler version because there is no need to install another camera, stock one is already MIUI Camera v2. The mod just enables more functions in the stock app (you can see from the function list what is enabled and what is stock).
there is no need for camera sound fix or fp shutter toggler here since it's al managed by MIUI.
Depending on the MIUI version there are more function like 60fps available.
Link github repo:
AOSP - MIUI
Functions:
in italics options added (not enabled in stock MIUI Camera for whyred)
PHOTO
AI mode
Portrait mode
Full manual mode (1/4s max shutter)
Square mode
Panorama (full quality)
Peak focus (when manual focus)
Grid toggle
Scene modes
Tonal and color presets
HHT
Straighten
Tilt-shift
Group Selfie (works good only when phone is horizontal)
Beautify and Beautify pro (v2)
Timer (3s and 5s)
HDR (on, off, auto), HDR pro (default) and live HDR
Torch mode (back and front)
Increased burst shoot (100 pics)
Better lowlight shot
VIDEO
4K record (30fps)
1080p 60fps
Video image stabilization (software, not with 4K)
Slow motion 720p,120fps - 1080p,120fps (last one, only AOSP)
Time lapse
AUDIO
Camera sound toggle
Increased aac bitrate
ADD-ON
Fingerprint shutter toggler (system wide)
Editor for build.prop with TWRP package
Known Issue:
group selfie partially working (good when taking horizontal shot).
1/2 shutter take faster speed pic at nearly 1/6s
On indian models front filter not working (for now disabled because not supported by miui camera, new version supports it)
audio fix disables system camera sound (so they don't work with camera apps that uses them like snap camera)
TWRP package need to be reinstalled after a dirty flash or ROM updates (it gets uninstalled by doing that so can be done to remove the package)
systemwide fingerprint act as a selector when out of camera app (set your camera icon up left in home screen to have fp quick shortcut to camera too)
other camera patches (for examples some gcam patches) can reduce functionality (test without any other patches if having problems at first).
Install:
Select installer you prefer:
- Magisk if you have it installed and want easy install/uninstall and OTA survival
- TWRP if you want to keep system rootless (need to be reinstalled after a dirty flash or a ROM update).
and select:
- AOSP if on Lineage or any AOSP based ROM
- MIUI if you are on a MIUI based ROM
Install Magisk modules in magisk (from magisk repo too) or TWRP (on your choice) and reboot;
For TWRP installer make a backup of system and vendor in TWRP to uninstall. Also dirty flash ROM will restore system and vendor as before installing the package.
For Magisk AOSP since v0.20 you can choose to install FPShutter_toggle also, to enable system wide fingerprint shutter. It's on a separated module so people can chose if enable it and use it on other ports too.
Note: A second install of FPShutter toggle will revert back files as before disabling the module (uninstall), so next time only need to update Camera module/installer.
If camera don't start check permission, try to clear app data (it will reset permission too).
If still not working wipe cache and dalwik from TWRP.
Download:
LAST STABLE RELEASES - AOSP or MIUI, TWRP or MAGISK
Additional packages:
For fingerprint shutter toggle (AOSP only, MIUI not needed):
Since v0.20 Fingerprint Shutter is a separate TWRP installer, so can work on other ports too.
FPShutter_toggle-TWRP_0.4 <--install from twrp ( once, if reinstalled it will revert the mod.)
tip: I have camera icon in up left corner of home screen so when tapping on fp it get selected another tap opens camera and third tap shoots a pic.
For build.prop edits:
Since the package don't need any build.prop on most system but I like to have some set. I came up with that TWRP package that can survive OTA and dirty flash.
It will backup original system/build.prop to system/build.prop.bak and edit prop saved in system/etc/build.prop_edits.sh.
So to use your config just change content in build.prop_edits.sh relative to props and recompress the package.

Then restart system and after install test module from twrp.
Changes:
1.0.3 Unity installer (universal for TWRP-Magisk-MIUI-AOSP) with Stable and Test version plus options to install various patches (RN5CP v1.015 or 1.035; BBDCB v3.1 or back only) and also included fp shutter fix (optional)
1.0.2
- New apk (from jasmine miui 9.6.16 with some patches by me),
- AI mode in front cam and portrait restored for testing (but don't work so can be keept off),
- restored tilt-shift (with some gcam mod can have shutter in preview),
- beautify 3d,
- 1080p 60fps
- 720p 240fps HFR
- new advanced portrait mode with scenes and AI,
- enabled indian filter,
- test support 32s shutter for india model (reported not working),
- front cam, back camera and 1080p fix for gcam by BeatByDad (included BDD camera booster v3.1),
- seems that google photo now enables unlimited free storage for full size pic like pixel (not confirmed)
- more under the hood options enabled.
Bugs:
- wrong preview in manual mode if manual shutter is set to any value.
- Shutter is enabled to go till 32s but max shutter is 1/4s (for global/china models) till we find how to patch lib.
- 240fps in HFR works only 720p (sometimes gives errors)
- front portrait is broken by BBD camera booster front cam fix, not yet found a solution.
MIUI-TWRP: no plans for now
Magisk: will be TWRP only
Magisk repository:
Latest Magisk modules are both in magisk repo choose the one you need based on system in use.
To find them easily search for "whyred"
If MIUI based rom use: MIUIcamera v2 MODs for whyred (Redmi Note 5 / pro) MIUI;
if AOSP based rom use: MIUIcamera v2 PORT for whyred (Redmi Note 5 / pro) AOSP.
Credits:
I saw the works of @carlosggb and @ARNOB XENON and from them I've took the slow-mo fix by @Dyneteve and some video recording improvements inspiration also applied with magisk the sound fix by @lawong.
The audio recording fix by @rocker00 is not anymore supported and on some ROMs it gives problems.
Other people working on improving our camera have inspired and helped this work to be done: @jhenrique09, BeatByDad, nhappyMan and others...

Looks promising! Awesome buddy and thanks for share, wished i can give a try but....MIUI user is here.
I'm so interested in this part "Full manual mode (1/4s max shutter)", Please tell me what are the files or the modifications which are responsible for this so i can give a try, i think it's about libs but i am not sure!
Edit: Ohh i thought it's 4s not 1/4s, i already have max 1/2s...any chance for even 8s? redmi note 4 already got 32s https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-4/how-to/guide-long-exposure-redmi-note-4-redmi-t3657343

On MIUI you should be able to have same results only by editing /system/etc/device_features/whyred.xml
you can not use the one in this module because I've removed lines not for the camera that MIUI needs, but you can see from it what I've changed and added. For group selfie you need also the libs libmorpho_group_portrait.so and libmorpho_groupshot.so
you can put them in /system/lib64/ they are here
for the manual functions the line in whyred.xml is:
Code:
<!--whether support manual focus/exposure_time in camera CHANGED-->
<bool name="support_camera_manual_function">true</bool>
It's 1/4s max because 1/2 is not true at least on Los. If you compare pic taken with 1/4 and 1/2 you will see 1/2 is darker it's more like 1/6 in reality. For more shutter speed I'll start to try after monday to edit the libs.
Yeah i already have all of this, while you're reply i just edited my post.
About shutter speed, from what i gathered from the link i posted above it looks like it's all about this lib "libmmcamera_whyred_s5k2l7_ofilm_cn_i.so" for the global version
and i think imx for the Indian version, we need someone with proper skills in decompiling .so files so he can brings this mode...lets see!

working fine on RR latest build.

guess it's a rom problem.

have u tried the other ports? have any problem with those?
of those worked, well, I have no idea then.
mine on RR and gcam active also, and have no problem.
both runs normal.
maybe you could pull some log so the dev might know what's going on.
---------
edit :
something weird happened, don't know if it was a bug.
after I update derp kernel to v2.2, this module suddenly force close. (log attach)
so I revert back to previous version (derp v2.1). still force close.
tried to remove the module and flash it again, still force close.
tried to disable gcam, re-flash the module, still force close.
then I'm flashing derp v2.2 again, flash the other port (from carlos) in magisk manager, reboot, the port runs fine.
then I disable that port, while flashing this module in magisk manager, reboot,
and now this module runs normal, no force close.
delete the other port while enable gcam, reboot, now both working normal again.
I have no idea what was happened, lol.

Changelog:
v13
- Install choices are in the Master Module (aka mother module) but install process is the same - the rom module will automatically pick up any choices made in the Master Module flash - end result is the same but this was a hell of a lot of work.
- rebased to CUE1 (OneUI 3.1 and A11)
-added power app
-multidisabler now baked into firmware
-a few others i have forgotten lol
V12
- NEW ROM MODULE SETUP BACKUP AND RESTORE - I have created a new Rom Module backup and restore function which will read the setup of the last rom module install (v12 onwards only) and ask you if you want to restore your previous install options. It will also backup any CSC features choices you make. This was not easy due to the complexity of my other function
- THE MODULE BASE CONVERTOR - this will now send the Rom Module to internal instead of the mother module.
-FIRMWARE CHECK - this means that the Rom will not install unless the matching firmware to the Rom is detected (there should be no reason to mix firmwares as this causes issues)
- VOLUME BUTTON CHOICES - I have managed to increase the timeout from 3 to 9 seconds
-some script optimisations and tidy ups
-CTS fix working perfectly and is included as an install option
-everything should hopefully tidy up after itself (eg the convertor deletes itself from internal storage mid flash) but let me know if anything is out of place
v11.0

Version Information
Status: Stable
Current Stable Version: v12.0
Stable Release Date: 2021-02-26
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
YOU MUST BE ON ROOTED STOCK TO USE THE MOTHER MODULE AND ROM!
As always it is strongly recommended to make a backup if you have TWRP installed
Install procedure for v11.0 onwards has changed drastically as has the format of the module base itself
From now on the N10 Series has a new install procedure but you will have exactly the same end result!!!!!!.
There is now a "Mother Module" or "MM" which, when flashed in Magisk, places a (Magisk installed) Rom Module zip and a (TWRP flashable) Module Base Convertor zip into their own folder on internal/420.
The next thing to do is to go to TWRP and locate the Module Base Convertor zip and flash it. This will apply all debloat and This will also trigger a marker that will allow the rom module to be flashed.
Once the first zip is flashed, you can then go and install the rom module as normal in Magisk
There is also a rooted stock firmware to start the whole thing off
BEFORE YOU START. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLASH THIS OVER A DIFFERENT DEVS ROM - IT WILL CAUSE ISSUES. BACKUP APPS AND DO A FRESH STOCK INSTALL FIRST - that's even if you get past the failsafe
Clean Install Process assuming you are on the matching firmware to the released Rom and rooted
1, Download the "Mother Module" from Downloads (Check in Telegram Group or on XDA).
2, Flash the Mother Module in Magisk - Reboot to TWRP
3, In TWRP, Flash Module Base Convertor located in internal/420 - this will apply all the modifications and debloat to your rom like the old Base did.
4, Reboot and Install Rom Module in Magisk as normal located in internal/420 - all done!!!
Install Process assuming you are coming from earlier 420rom:
1, Download the "Odin Files", "Mother Module" and latest "420rom Release Kernel" from Downloads (Check in Telegram Group or on XDA).
2, Using the "Odin Files" i have provided, Flash Modded BL, Modded AP, CP and HOMECSC in Odin with AUTOREBOOT off
3, Keeping phone plugged in, hold vol down and power to exit download and immediately hold vol up and power to enter TWRP.
4, Flash Multidisabler then Flash the "420rom Release Kernel" image to the boot partition and then Reboot.
5, Flash the Mother Module in Magisk - Reboot to TWRP
6, In TWRP, Flash Module Base Convertor located in internal/420 - this will apply all the modifications and debloat to your rom like the old Base did.
7, Reboot and Install Rom Module in Magisk as normal located in internal/420 - all done!!!
Process for getting round SAMSUNG screen issue caused by older TWRPs with future dates (Rollback protection issue)
prerequisites
-TWRP patched tar packaged (patched AP with TWRP from Ian)
-Stock Patched Recovery
-420 Base Rom
process
-Return to stock by flashing AP/BL/CP&CSC in odin
-Reboot and confirm oem unlocking greyed out, reboot to download, meanwhile unzip the magisk_patched.tar package
-In download mode and with auto reboot off in odin, flash BL, Magisk_patched.tar(with the TWRP from Ian in), CP & HOMECSC.
-When flashing is complete exit download mode and immediatly hold power and vol up and hold until on TWRP slider screen. swipe to allow modifications, format internal storage and flash multidisabler.
-Reboot TWRP wipe data, system, cache and dalvik and flash the base rom for your device...then..... FLASH THE STOCK PATCHED RECOVERY FOR YOUR DEVICE AND THEN FLASH MULTIDISABLER (THIS IS IMPORTANT AS YOU WILL THEN BE ABLE TO INSTALL TWRP VIA THE APP WITHOUT HAVING TO REFORMAT INTERNAL - the process will fail otherwise)
-Reboot straight to stock recovery (reboot from TWRP and hold Vol up and power until in stock recovery) and factory reset then reboot to system.
-You should now boot up as normal, setup your device, in particular have TWRP app and Magisk set up and running.
-Flash the Unpatched TWRP for your device in the TWRP app - reboot TWRP and check the box to kill that annoying swipe to allow modifications and then you are good to install the module !!!
Wooo! First custom rom for the S6! IT HAS BEGUN!
When will a download link be up? I'd love to try it out.
EDIT: Is the Base ROM still uploading? Cause there's no T860 in the N10 Complete folder.
EDITv2: Sorry if I'm asking to soon, I'm just so excited.

The Rom Module is up and the Base Rom will be up soon. You can flash the Rom Module as long as you have Magisk 20.4 or later installed. It can be installed like a Magisk module. But you will get better options and compatibility with the Base Rom when it is uploaded. I will also be uploading installation instructions shortly.

Nice to see some excitement for our project - @abun880007 has done a stellar job in porting my module over to your device so, even though ill probably never own one, im stoked to see this on a totally different type of device!!
Any feedback on things is welcome also - the fix in the third post may only be applicable to the note series but if you ever get stuck at SAMSUNG screen on boot then this will help.
Finally the rom is incoming so sit tight and in the meantime enjoy the module - this is the thing that contains the "Custom Rom features"
Hmm, flashed the module in magisk and was wondering, what's this telcel app that's shown up?
Also maybe it runs better with the custom base, but things are running slow and choppy now.

I found it also...I presume some kind of sniffing or spyware app. I deleted it with Root Explorer.
Been like 8 hours, just curious if the base rom will be up anytime soon or?

I will look into the Telcel app, prob something being picked up with the CSC's maybe be leaking across from a vendor CSC.

Version 2.0.1 of the module has now been released. This resolves the issue with Vendor apps being installed. please refer to the changelog in post 1

It will be up later today
carrier bloat is due to what's left in /product/app being activated by cscfeatures i think. Abun sorted it though
the module will be increasing in size a little but that's going to be inevitable as i have successfully merged the Note 10 modules into one working zip and plan to add T860 also so it will be an AIO solution for these devices (abun's rubbing his hand's in glee as only will need to use one module now haha!!!!).
Be sure to install the module if you want the custom rom features as this is a Magisk rom project (i.e the module is installed over the stock style base rom or rooted stock setup) - having said that, the base rom will offer a great rooted stock experience with under the hood teweaks for those that prefer
Real excited to try out this rom, been waiting for it to finish uploading for three days now, hope it is so soon.

I am. I tried flashing the module though and after things started running real slow and choppy. Might need to wipe my tablet cause it's had some small problems lately, so that might be why, but I'd rather wait till the base rom comes out to do so so I only have to wipe it once.

Does syberia kernel work on any hi6250 device? Or it is only for pra?
Btw thanks for the rom...hope volte will work on this
I tried on my p10 lite using the uncrypt and it booted fine but I couldn't install or update apps. I tried to clear storage on play store and download manager it didn't work. When I went back to leaOS I tried this 1.3 version of the uncrypt and the same thing happened so it might be from that.
I tried both LiteGapps and OpenGapps.
Thank you for your dedication! Can this ROM use magisk24? If not, is there any Android 10 or higher ROM that can use magisk24 for hi6250?
Can I make calls normally after flashing the Siberia kernel? I want to use magisk24 on this ROM, how can I do it?

Hard job, I will try to backport from LeaOS Lineage Version
Hi, I've been using this rom for some days and everything's working fine no reboots or anything I also find it faster than your other LeaOS.
This is just minor stuff but is it possible to add the styles option on the Display settings? I find the style option on phh customization a bit lacking and it doesn't work well. also the huawei animation on boot is faster than usual.
Like I said its minor visual stuff, everything working so far I love how fast this rom is, amazing job!

Why am I getting this error??....
I appricciate your work on the phone oficcialy dead from some time but I'd like to point you on sometihing:
I'm normal guy and I'm not flashing phone on regular basis every day. I do it when I need this, every few monts or years and I've done it few times. What really annoyes me is the fact that your guide for installation is unclear because I'm always following steps VERY CAREFULLY and if installation is unsucessfull after few tries, it's of course because I'm missing something here... Sorry but I already wasted 6 hours of my day off trying to install your rom using your guide so I really appriciate answer for my question: why am I getting this error ???
