I've seen some aosp based roms with tons of nice features but i've yet to see a pure aosp rom.
so is anyone willing to create a working pure aosp rom? (yes i've seen the aosp thread but critical things dont work)

It takes some time to build a rom from the ground up... So if you'll just wait that AOSP rom will work as well as a CM13 rom.
Try the latest Tesla rom, Its aosp based.

I would like to appeal to Whyred Devs to please, bring SkyDragon Pie Custom Rom to Whyred. Skydragon custom rom is an amazing custom rom, filled with exciting features. Personally, i think it's the best custom rom for now. Here is a video to it

Best Custom ROMs for Android
LineageOS
LineageOS is a well-known name in the Custom ROM category. If you have ever used custom ROMs on any Android device, then you must have heard the name of the CyanogenMod. Overall the ROM is perfect in all terms if you want a feature pack rom then once try out the Havoc ROM on your android device.
AOSP Extended ROM
AOSP Extended ROM is an aosp based custom ROM which provides you the Stock UI along with some customization option. As the name suggests, the aosp source code directly builds the ROM. The ROM is little bit look like the Pixel Experience ROM because the customization is limited in this ROM. However, the ROM support the substratum Theme engine which completely changes the looks of your device. The Network connection and the battery backup of the ROM are good. AOSP ROM provides you a full lag free and smooth experience. The AOSP developers continue updates their OS and which is a plus point of this ROM. However, all the above ROMs are also regularly updated by the developers. The AOSP Rom also support the forum support. AOSP extended ROM currently supports almost the all smartphone manufacturer device.

every custom ROM is buggy and not daily, so that phone is abandoned
Nusantara project is the only rom officialy supported for this device and its features and ui is also the best
