I used OS_Acer_Acer.T09.AV0M0.1.035.00.EMEA.GEN1_A60M_A.zip to build rom
but it always fail to create system.img
It does create the zipped rom.
I try to copy extracted system folder to 'work' folder but same error.
Is there any log or some way to get more details on that error?

When Assayed will go to step to make a size for the system image you have to put the values. Take as reference the size of your system image that you dumped before and express this value in MB.

That did the trick (used size from Auto Tool Unpack Repack .DAT & .IMG for Windows)
I got system.img. Now use system.img and boot.img in sp flash tool with the scatter from your zip or did i miss something?

Ok. which scatter should i use (only the one from your zip does not error) and should i check everything in flash tool or only specific partitions?
@nickless07
Did you see that? it looks that here there are three firmwares for your model :https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6995?b=1
Open Menu, open drivers&Manuals and you will see three firmwares under O.S.

Put all the files that you dumped but replace for the new system and boot.

Yes i tested all 3 of them in recovery mode. And if you search on website for phone snid 717007914635 you get 2 other firmware. Right now i used the 1.035.00
So use the preloader i dumped means that the preloader i got from your zip

Ok flashed all of them. Still stuck at boot logo (i got the boot logo back) and now i can mount /system in recovery mode
Should i repeat that with other firmware?

It´s an advance, you can do the same with these firmwares that you tried before preparing them via Assayed and flash it through Philz recovery.

I used fastboot oem unlock then i pressed Vol. Up on device to confirm.
When i do this now the device tells me Unlock failed.
This is happening after i flashed the files from your zip.
Philz fails. I renamed it to recovery.img and only selected that one in sp flash tool (no error) but when entering recovery mode it is stock recovery

These files were from the zip from Acer that you said that before that recovery stock fails to flash so I don´t understand why it could change bootloader status. Then these files from Acer itself are not for your exact version or maybe build update.
Now that you can mount system maybe you can flash the zip through your stock recovery.
Edit: the files that you flashed before from my zip were lk.bin, preloader and trustzone; flash now from all the firmwares that you downloaded these three files (one by one for firmware and try to unlock every time) using SPFlashTool and the working scatter.txt to see if you recover functionality of the bootloader

Grab the stock update (Full ~90mb) or full stock ROM from the dev forum for your specific device. Extract it and use fastboot to flash the .img files
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
ok a lil confused. Im currently stuck in the bootloader(at the top its says fastboot mode- no boot or recovery img) Im unable to do anything with phone trying usin adb it doest give ne a serial number It just say devices attached and it shows nothing. so how do i get the files i need on the phone. You said fastboot not sure how to start that. Do i just download the zip and extract it and hit shift-right click in the folder to bring up command. If so how do start the command line.
the only stock rom im finding that the links work for is only 77mb will that work
You need to use fastboot, not adb.
Grab the appropriate full rom here (i9020, i9023) for your phone: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1056062
Extract that.
Take boot.img and recovery.img and put them into tools\ folder of the SDK (where fastboot is located) unless you've added it to your path.
fastboot devices should show your device (serial) much like adb devices
Flash boot:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
Alternatively, you could flash CWM (using fastboot, just grab the .img for CWM) - flash the entire update package and then reboot - it will install the stock recovery.

The full recovery isn't in the package. You could flash cwm manually via fastboot and then install the full OTA package through cwm. A subsequent reboot will then install the stock recovery.

it will wipe internal momery during the process.
It looks like that your backup got corrupted, you should restore system to a full stock firmware, follow these steps to do so.
Download your latest firmware and extract system.img, boot.img, recovery.img, cust.img from UPDATE.APP using Huawei Update Extractor tool.
Flash recovery first, using this command.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Flash all other extracted files similarly firing these commands.
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash cust cust.img
fastboot flash system system.img
After doing this put that very UPDATE.APP from which you extracted the files in dload folder of your external SDCARD.
Switch off your phone, and press Vol UP + Vol DOWN + Power button simultaneously.
Your device will now get to the full stock firmware.
This will get you to Stock firmware.
I suggest once you get back to stock, root your device, install TWRP and take a Nandroid backup again, but this time once the backup is completed, compress the whole backup folder in tar and store it somewhere safe. This will prevent future corruption of the backup.
Hope this helps...

Yes finally. You have to download the update file for whatever version of the rom you currently have installed. Then extract userdata, boot, system, and erecovery1 and erecovery2 images. Fastboot flash them in bootloader mode. Reboot device. Shutdown device. Boot to system recovery and do a full system restore. All set.

so then i side loaded resurrection os 5.7 and it didnt have wifi so i tried upgrading emui and now i can't install any rom it just hangs at "patching ssytem unconditonally"
i have TWRP running on the phone. i just want to go back to stock OS. please help how do i do this?

i can run fastboot and twrp but nothing else works. i will paypal 15 dollars to someone who can help me
You can download the full firmware directly from honor, unzip it, and place the update.app file in a dload folder that you create on your sd card. Power of the phone then hold volume up, down, and power at the same time to initiate an automatic flash of the room you downloaded. This will erase everything, so be aware.
1.Download full rom from huawei support site then extract update.app
2.place it in dload folder using twrp (in twrp enable MTP)
3.Now extract the recovery.img from update.app using huawei extractor and flash it using fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
4.now power off phone then start phone holding Volume Up ,Volume Down & power button simultaneously
5.it will start updating

I had the same problem once.
You can try to flash the cust partition of your phone. The "device verification failed"-message should disappear then. It's not enough to only flash boot, system and recovery. If there is a problem with the cust partition of your phone you can also have problems with flashing stock roms via "dload"-method.
1. Download the right stock firmware via the huawei firmware finder. You usually have two .zip files (e.g. update.zip & update_full_BLN-L21_hw_eu.zip). The image file for the cust partition can be found in the update_full_BLN-L21_hw_eu.zip (choose the right one for your model).
2. Unpack update_full_BLN-L21_hw_eu.zip and extract the cust partition with the huawei firmware extractor.
3. Put your phone into fastboot mode
4. Use the following command: fastboot flash cust cust.img
5. Try to boot into your stock rom.

Has anyone flashed this successfully?
any bugs? i flashed crdroid. it's too buggy
Hi everybody,
Still mad at myself for buying this phone (with MediaTek SOC) because of the lack of custom ROM support. Never had this issue before with any of my phones. If only i knew this before. The hardware of the phone is great, but the software makes it really frustrating to work with.
So i've tried a lot of things to either mod the original (Chinese) ROM so it's at least functional. And i have also tried multiple of these GSI ROM install methods. Everytime without succes.
I've tried your previous method with the 'GSI installer' and the one from this guide. Neither of them worked. (Boot loop). I have a feeling i run into trouble because (if i'm correct) the original ROM uses a 'super' partition and not a 'system' partition.
If i remember correctly the GSI installer couldn't continue because it couldn't find the system partition.
In this guide (for corvus) i figured i'd flash the system.img to my super partition. Of cource that doesn't work either. If only it was that simple.
Everytime it fails i have to flash back to a standard xiaomi ROM and start all over again. Because for some reason the TWRP backups also dont work for me.
So maybe i'm missing a step in the guide or i've already tried so much to mod my phone i've changed settings/partitions that shouldn't have been changed for this guide to work.
My bootloader is unlocked, i have/had TWRP 3.41 installed.
After a fail i flash back to the original ROM using Xiaomi ABD/Fastboot Tools (xiaomiABDFastbootTools.jar)
Any help would be appreciated!
I never had issue when I flashed the GSI from the crdroid guide did you make sure that you put the GSI installer.zip and the image file rename to system.img to the root internal storage??
Yes i did. It could also find the system.img file, but just wasn't able to flash it.
Can you tell mw what ROM you were flashing from?
