Hello,
I recently changed my Samsung Galaxy j5 Prime's screen resolution and after that I tried to set a screen lock and when I choose any screen lock type, that's password, pattern or pin, I get "setting has stopped" I know it's because I changed the resolution, because when I set the screen resolution to default, everything works fine. I love the new resolution and don't want to change it to default, but I also want to put a lock on my phone. What do I do? Is there any anyway I cannot get the settings has stopped error without changing dpi to default?
Thanks for incoming answers

While I cannot tell you how to permanently fix this, I can tell you it happens to me as well. I guess for now we must go re-choose the lockscreen wallpaper whenever we fix permissions.
Adb pull framework-res and change the default lock wallpaper and the keyguard wallpaper to ones of your choosing. They are in res/hdpi.
How to fix lock screen glitch?
Hey guys.
Quick question. Hope this is a good forum for this question. Hopefully someone has the answer that I have overlooked.
Lockmenu is a very cool lock screen app(to me, anyway. I'm a noob so...). Gives very quick access from the lock screen to whatever apps you wish. Sort of like Shortcuts, but directly from a lock screen.
My problem is when I unlock from the main Unlock Slider on the bottom left, it takes me to the default lock screen on my Skyrocket.
How do I disable the default system lock screen?
There is no option in the settings to disable the default lock screen for those of you who might think its that simple.
Anyone else having this problem?
I have tried the Nolock app first to disable the default system lock screen, but...
So in other words I go through two lock screens most of the time. Once in awhile it will unlock to the home screen from the Lockmenu Unlock Slider as it is supposed to.
I'm running ICS rooted on Galaxy Skyrocket.
Any help is much appreciated.

Hello, is there a way to change the wallpaper for the screen where they asks you to enter your password pattern (the screen where you can also use the Emergency call). Since I can not change it even that my lockscreen and my homescreen have a custom wallpaper. Thanks.
I believe it's under: settings, display, wallpaper, lock screen
How do I change the lock screen setting from the password to one of the other options? I just got my phone today and put the password on my screen but now want to change it and I can't find any info in the users manual on changing or removing the password.
This is located in settings , generally under security or lockscreen depending on the device you have.
Good luck

I have a related question: I have an app that changes my wallpaper every day, but it doesn't change the lock screen wallpaper. In previous android phones there was a setting to have the lock screen be whatever the home screen is, how do I accomplish this on Galaxy S7?
