Thanks for the link. Unfortunately i tried this 7.0 ROM, and for some strange reason it screws up my camera, which is a shame on such a phone.
Are you such 7.1.x never came to V20? I'm pretty sure it was running 7.1 when i received it.

I am 100% sure that there was never a 7.1 for lg v20.
There was 7.0 only

No, there is no 7.1.1 unless you're using LG V30.. LG never released x.x.1 version of android because of their pretty lazy developer issue.. zzzzz
take a look at LG opensource web and you'll see.. there is no x.x.1 version, only 7.0 and 8.0..
Here's the link!!!

Go ahead and give yourzself a nice big double facepalm on this one brother lol First he states his v20 is the f800 which is not compatible with that rom and second he stated he wanted a "stock" rom which aokp is far from stock and not to mention the whole stock 7.1 for any v20 does not...and i repeat does NOT exist. Dont mean to light you up too much but this is exactly how bricks happen.

I only give you link to look up. I didn't grant you specific zip file to download it and screw your device. 7.0 and 8.0 are for stock ROMs. 7.x and 8.x are for custom ROMs. Lg v20 only!! They don't make 7.1 for stock rom. Sorry for your confusion!!!

Hi guys.I had an Xperia Z since yesterday, when i bought an AT&T LG G3.I'm from Romania and the man from whom I bought it got it from the USA.When I want to make the software update,it tells me that the latest version is installed. But the version i have is 4.4.2,and the latest is Lollipop...
So,is there a way to do the software update?I wouldn't like to install CM 12.1 because, from what i've read,it's full of bugs...
Thanks!

This has been asked a good amount of times in just a few days. No you cannot. You'd have to root , flash twrp, and then flash a rom that you'd want to use.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I searched the internet but i didn't found the answer.
Why?Only because i don't use an AT&T SIM?

Since you don't have att service in your country you have no option but root, flash tarp and flash the rom of your preference.
I have rooted the phone and i've installed twrp, but i didn't find a good, stable ROM.Can you reccomend me one good ROM?

If you read the "Index" thread, you could find this, which is what I think you want: Stock Lollipop 5.0.1
Of course, official (nightly) for cm12.1 just came out. Find that yourself.

Yuup, this is exactly what i've been looking for Thank you very much!
Hi
I just got myself this phone, I would like to know which software (android/emui) version is the best to run? In terms of minimum amount of lags/bugs, best battery management. I do not mind not having the lastest features as I only use my phone to call/text/browseinet/watch videos.
my phone version is the H60-L04V100R001C00B109SP01.
Thanks guys for your help.
Then I would not upgrade. The Android 4.4 the phone comes with is more likely your best option.

thanks for your advice tho
I'd say upgrade to the last KitKat ROM released for your model and stick to it maybe until Marshmallow stable becomes a thing. I wanted to downgrade to KitKat after getting Lollipop as in my opinion it was much better but just couldn't be bothered enough to actually downgrade to be honest.

Ok thanks, I'm atm on 4.4.2/emui 3.0.
Will the Stylo 1 get Nougat 7.0 or possibly 7.1? if so, when? and if it does, will it overhaul the ugly looking UI and make it look as good as the Stylo 2/ LG G5? Thanks
Which model/carrier do you have?
I doubt it but the T-Mobile/MetroPCS version is more likely to get it than the other versions (better specs), IF (and that is a BIG IF) we do get it.
Again, I highly doubt it because it had its one update. I hope they surprise me though.

Hello, it's been some time since I've last rooted and flashed kernels on my devices. My device is having problems with certain apps and I feel it's time to update my root or change my rom or flash a stock rom etc. Here is what I am using now:
Build: MOAR v6.1 OA6
Software: G900PVPU1BOA6
Hardware: G900P.04
Android: 5.0
Kernel: 3.4.0-3859396
Would you recommend I unroot then flash a stock kernel? What is a new root I can use with this phone? Thanks
I would recommend Odin a fresh stock MM rom. Then boot to the desktop, by pass set up. Go to dialer ##72786# it will do a reactivate and update prl and profile.. Then Odin TWRP, and flash a new rom or your choice.. If you like MOAR then Odin a LP stock rom, and do as mentioned and flash MOAR 7.0 it works best. Right now, I'm running crdroid 3.8.5 baset off of Nouget with 7.1 gapps and it works very well You need the latest MM firmware to run it, and at least TWRP 3.2.1-0-ktle.img If you do flash crdroid download ktledv

First off, thanks for the reply. I really appreciate the help. What's the battery life like on MM compared to Lollipop?
I would prefer to use something like a stock rom but just extremely debloated. I also want to be able to play pokemom go without problems and super su keeps giving me problems when trying to play. Do you know of any setups that would allow for pokemon go and are fast, battery effecient, and debloated?

How's the mm baseband? I know the obvious response is updated is better but I experienced better LTE on the firmware I currently have, no idea honestly other than it's lolipop, maybe ok4? I want to upgrade phones but having trouble finding one with sprint newer that can be customized how I like so I'm also looking at playing with this one prior to and after getting maybe a pixel unlocked

I would stick with Lollipop OK4 and flash MOAR 7.0. I to find better LTE and all around connectivity on Lollipop than MM.. I once again, went back to MOAR 7.0 from crdroid.. Crdroid is a great rom, but battery life, sucks, as well as connectivity on calls and data. When in aroma and you get to the point about the kernel, choose don't touch kernel, and finish from there. I never like MM and those are the reasons why.. Crdroid I flashed was 7.0 but naturally on the MM base band, but it was still the same.
Thanks sir nobody could really answer that for me. I found the ok4 of all lollipop got the best LTE where I live, plus I'm on sprint so I'm a bit restricted on ROMs, unified dev leave some bugs with sprints network but not too badly!!

You probably already know, but I will ask anyways. Are you using the KLTEDV version of the unified ROM? KLTE roms does not work very well with sprint.

Thanks! I'll make sure to read which I should use. My daily is still on MM while my old one that's kinda beat up is now on N as it us now the practice phone. Playing with it before Oreo, may stay for a while. And I installed kltespr on both devices as there were still options available for specifically this device with the spr tag. My CM 13 network is fine, no worse than just regular sprint...
Haven't tried the move to either N or O on my daily, worried about the signal discussion. I'll use an old kltespr to test before the newer maintained kltedv if its there probably to see how it goes.

Unfortunately my sprint s5 is one of the phone with that signal issue. I was in the process of changing carrier so to try and fix that issue wasn't worth it for me. My new S5 did not have that issue, when i went to verizon, its a really weird bug.

I think it took a bit to stat with the sprint APN, changed some settings, messed with some stuff, and it seems fine now, I'll have to remember to check back at that before upgrading. I'm on the ok4 baseband
I bought a lg g7 on ebay thinking it was the 710 ULM but investigating I realized that it was the 710pm converted to ULM. Is there any possibility to upload it to PIE since it does not update by OTA ...
return it and buy a pixel 3.
or get the modified lg up from here and the latest firmware from here
but seriously dont buy a g7. it could be great with a great rom, but there just isnt a lot of development behind it.
-Here- You can find step by step what I did to get android Pie 9 on LG G7. I had the same Phone, PM crossflashed to ULM.
LG G7 its a great phone, but if you want a phone with a large development community behind, this is not the chose one. IMO even not worth to try flash Custom Recovery or Root, there is not good rom out there and the Stock Rom with Android Pie work flawless.
Every Phone what I've have before got Custom Rom/Revovery since day One, but lately is not necessary to survive. A lot of things already are on stock rom. Anyway, I dont have any regret with this LG G7 (Good performance, Good Price $140), my last phone was a LePro 3 x727 with a great performance on Custom Rom (SD821, 4/64Gb Android 9 AOSiP, Magisk, Gcam Etc...) And I dont miss it at all...
I will try when I get home!

I bought this phone as well. It was too late to return it but I complained anyway. They gave me a $20 refund.
So all I can do is install lineage os 17 since there will be no OTA? Installing that OS or any OS looks very complicated. There is no way to upgrade from Oreo without wiping all the data?

Sadly not , but the crossflash process is not that difficult if you follow the guide .
I have sucessfully updated 2 G7's one pm(sprint) and a vm(verizon) both working pretty great on android 10. Can't speak about volte or wifi calling since I've bever used those services so if you are interested in that I can't give you any input
On the other hand you could try lineage os or any ither or the custom roms and some of them do support updates from within the same rom , no facotry reset needed unless upgrading from lets say 10 to 11
I have a PM I am trying to sell .. it was cross-flashed before I bought it.. I used as a wi-fi only phone very happily (that was my goal).. but am trying to get it saleable.... There is not Sprint stock Rom avaliable. Cross flash is a not-return journey. Anyway, there is nothing worng with crosflashed Roms, just a couple apps you cant download from Gplay Store, but you can grab apk from another store. On android 10 you can install some from Gplay like Netflix.

Which is what leads me to believe that most of the ‘ULM-PM’ model isn’t actually anything crossflashed but an actual ULM model ,that has imei that were simply issued to sprint assigned by lg firmware distribution division wtfever...
And that sprint G7’s simply were ulm models is all..
There may be crossflashed variant phones also BUT when u buy a bnib SEALED lg g7 and box says ulm but the sticker isn’t the ‘standard ulm’ and u look up imei and it says sprint..
well.... um yeah logic common sense wouuuuld dictate..
Thee Above^
**now if it were after the tmobile buyout then ofc the firmware would be MIGHT been ‘TM’
Any questions...
It’s already been said that most all g7 have ALL the bands but you have to enter a service menu to enable the ones the modem leaves open avail
Any other questions. .
