Workaround :
. Uninstall Lawnstep from Magisk Manager
. Disable Gesture system from Settings > System > Gestures
. Install this zip in twrp
. Enable Gesture system from Settings > System > Gestures
. Done!

What is best u don't have to use magisk module to have recent or new navigation just flash zip and enable pill from gesture.
I'm having a moto g 2014 titan. The dev of lineage is 16.0 for my device have both the pill navigation and pie recents in the ROM by default

Afaik it doesn't require English language forced. It works on Arrow Pie G5 Plus. Try with installing XML PAK module from Magisk download section to see if it works after that. Do reply ?

In my zuk z2 (AospExtended 6), doesn't work. The recent apps shows up something different (screen 1) than should be (screen 2). There are no shortcuts in recent apps.

Enable swipe up gesture from settings>system>gestures. If it's already enabled, disable it and re enable.

It's a GSI based ROMs bug. Most TWRP flashable zips doesn't do anything for some reason. Wait till system dump of Pixel 3 is out for a proper magisk version.

1. Navigate to /system and edit build.prop using any Root Explorers/File Manager
2. Once you go into Edit mode in build.prop look for "ro.product.name=Moto E 4G"/Moto E 3G (This depends on your device variant).
3. Edit the above line to "ro.product.model=Pixel XL".
4. Add "ro.opa.eligible_device=true" line at the end of build.prop .
5. Reboot Device
The Google Assistant should work for you now.
If it still doesn't work try clearing the data of the Google App.
The Pixel Launcher and Icons are not included in this list because they are already a part of OpenGApps Packages

You're right, Nougat users cannot use this feature as Xposed has not been ported yet. but It's available in the play store for 6.0 users. It works well in my moto e2 otus running on cm 13 rom. The app name is [Xposed]Pixel nav bar.

There is no new function added in the new pixel launcher.... But improved speed.....smoother...and faster.

Iam not sure, because i installed allready a Pixel Launcher zip from December.
And I Installed from apkmirror a Pixel Version and both are not loking same by long press action on a app.
Looking booth old.
I finish installed this version: (Pixel Launcher ODR-4023749 (READ NOTES)) from Apk Mirror and put it in System/priv-apps so i can use it fully working.
But always thankful for the Zip File =)

I sent a test zip to vampire36 but he didn't reply if it was working and another problem is that the systemui isn't compiling.
I'm scrapping this project as I don't have much free time nowadays and systemui is not compiling and giving many errors.

However, in the vendor partition they have a Pixel Theme (called Pixel.apk). This actually visible in the apps list. If you have a Pixel on Android Oreo. Go to your installed apps and view system apps. Look for Pixel.apk. That is the pixel theme, much like Substratum Themes. Now the Pixels basically use an overlay (using Android Oreo's native theme support). The 6P has the exact same compatibility. However, installation is a bit complicated. If I or someone else could develop an app to place the files+folders in the Vendor folder and run the ADB commands, it would make Pixel Mod's much less complicated and allow complete substratum compatibility.

On my Nexus 5x Pixel launcher didn't work. keep crashing, even after giving the app all permissions and notifications, had to delete the app and try another Pixel launcher.
Repeat, I give the app Pixel Launcher all permission also notification permissions, even restart the phone and still crashing.
The rest I love.

On my Nexus 5x Pixel launcher didn't work. keep crashing, even after giving the app all permissions and notifications, had to delete the app and try another Pixel launcher.
Repeat, I give the app Pixel Launcher all permission also notification permissions, even restart the phone and still crashing.

Mmm, the zip that I mentioned it's for navbar animation only, no pixel launcher.

If I edit any system-app i will get signature error on boot.
Pixel-2-Launcher apk & flashable zip from Google pixel 2 (either ftom Android Oreo 8.0 or Android Oreo 8.1 DP1)
Flashable zip will enable Google now integration & simple apk will not include Google now integration.
How to..
Flash Pixel-2-Launcher zip from TWRP (as system app)
Or install Pixel-2-Launcher apk as user app.

Note: All features are working only in android oreo based ROMs. I tested all files in Nougat & Oreo based custom ROMs. Some users are reporting that app is crashing in marshmallow based ROMs. You need to give location permission manually to get weather data as launcher is not asking location permission but by default all permission are set off.

How to uninstall?
Flash Pixel-2-launcher-uninstaller (file from attachment) using TWRP or other custom recovery.

What the modified version has? downloaded it and I did not see a difference Compared to original.

It's same as original. Use it only if original version can't be installed. Like in some custom ROMs. So if original version is working, no need to install modified one.

Reflash current ROM or
Go to system/priv-app & delete folder nexuslauncherprebuild. It'll get removed.

Thanks for letting me know.
I only asked because the notification dots were working in the Pixel Launcher 7.1.2.
I have a Nokia 8. I guess I will have to wait for Android O update to get this feature back.

I have the original installed on my current ROM (current unofficial DU for Galaxy Nexus). While I don't have the Oreo-style notifications, it's actually cleaner than the original Pixel Launcher. I will likely swap the flashable version to gain Google Now integration - and I definitely like the cleaner approach this launcher takes compared to the launcher from the original Pixel.
Doesn't work on my Galaxy S8+

I actually first saw about the launcher on Android Authority and downloaded this few mins ago.. and now using it?
Not working for me sony xperia Z2 6.1mm
I flashed by recovery
Not working neither in my Blackview R6 (Mediatek chip) with Android 6.
When I open the launcher, it crashes.
But the idea it was good, so, ny other option is continue using the older version Pixel Launcher that works good in my device
