my GPS is on but i cannot locate in many apps (Weather, Grab)..is it a bug or just me? how to fix it?

Thinking about installing this Rom but wondering how it's behaving on French networks (LTE) ?

Wondering... HydrogenOS is Gapps free. What i'm looking for. But does he have signature spoofing for being able to use microG ?

how can i switch from Hydrogen 5.1.11 to Oxygen 5.1.9?

I bought a Oneplus6 in China and updated it to the latest version of h2os which is 5.1.11.
Just wondering how i can switch this to Oxygen 5.1.9? I did some searching online but couldn't find a clear guide that i could understand. Do i need to wait until the latest Oxygen version is newer than the h2os version? I read that downgrading is not possible.
appreciate any help!

You should be able to just flash a full zip of the latest oxygen (there is a thread in the forum for it) via twrp, flashing the fullzip will completely overwrite your system so its ok.
But why do you want to switch? Hydrogen is like a Beta for Oxygen, they are testing the new features on hydrogen first
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3fU6lfkQz2c i just found this video, would that work? could you send a link for the thread ?

Revert to MIUI 12 Android 10

A couple of days ago I installed on my Poco F2 Pro (via OTA) the MIUI Global Stable 12.2.4.0 (RJKEUXM), android version 11, RKQ1.200826.002.
After this 'upgrade' I am experiencing major bugs (1. no storage for dual apps in file manager. 2. Apps can only be installed directly from google play store 3. Many links, posted in apps like WhatsApp, don't open. 4. Under File Manager, the option 'Open in another app', doesn't work properly as the 'other apps shown' are not the correct ones. 5. No notifications for apps like WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger. 5. Some apps crash, .etc etc.
I have the bootloader locked, is there a way that I can revert to the previous MIUI 12 Android 10 (V 12.0.3.0 QJKEUXM) flashing the recovery rom through the updater without losing all the data, apps and settings?
Or the only option is to flash the fastboot rom with mi flash or the recovery rom with twrp?
in doing so, is there any problem with the ARB feature risking to brick the phone?
Thanks
flash the fastboot rom with mi flash is better but before you can try flash https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/miui/lmi/stable/V12.2.4.0.RJKEUXM/ with miflash(cleanall option)
Unlockbootloader mandatory.
Waiting for the authorization to unlock the bootloader (168 hours), shall I try with factory reset to check if it solves my problems with the MIUI 12 Android 11?
Thanks

Then I will unlock and flash the previous version of the stock MIUI 12 (Android 10). But is there any problem in flashing a previous version of the ROM? I am referring to the ARB feature. Though, as far as I know, if there is any problem with the ARB, MiFlash will not flash the ROM.
Thanks

just remove a few lines of code from a rom file (https://www.xda-developers.com/xiaomi-anti-rollback-protection-brick-phone/).
But ARB is not systematic, try it first.
And flash a global rom.

After the numerous serious bugs mentioned in my first post, i reverted to the MIUI Global Stable 12.0.3.0 (QJKEUXM) Android 10, and my Poco F2 Pro has been working fine since then.
Does anyone know if the major bugs (I guess mostly due to Android 11) have been solved with the latest system update MIUI Global Stable 12.5.1.0 (RJKEUXM)?
I am quite reluctant to install any update based on Android 11 after the mess happened to my phone last January.
Thanks

Help about flash Realme 5 Pro!

Greetings, gentlemens!
I'm new on forum. Igor here, from Croatia.
I have Realme 5 Pro, last update was RMX1971EX_11.F.03, Android 11. I want flash my Realme device to get latest Android 12, Cherish OS 3.1 STABLE, but, I can't find any equipmenst or tools to do this.
Please,
If anyone can help, I would be grateful.
Sincerely,
Igor
Hello again!
I finally managed to unlock the bootloader on Realme 5 Pro. I can easly go in recovery mode. Quick question: Do I have installed TWRP on phone to get latest Android 12? Or I need some more apps? Thank you.
I finally successfully unlock bootloader and root my Realme 5 Pro. Before that, I rollback my Android version from 11 to 10. to do that.
After unlock bootloader and rooting and rebooting, in the updates I was offered an upgrade on Android 11.
Question is:
Can I install Cherish OS 3.1 Stable directly via Android 10, or do I have to upgrade to version 11 first, and only then to 12?
Thank you!
Solved! Upgraded on Cherish OS 3.1 Stable.

For the moment, no, since the global version has not yet been released.
Afterwards you can but without being able to lock the bootloader, which means that the play store will not be certified and you will have to root the phone and use magisk or a Xiaomi Eu rom.
MIUI 14 EU best variant
Any chance can CN version to be converted Global without bootloader unlock? Or that's impossible at all?
I want that skyblue color that only available in CN market and want use google pay and banking apps as well, and that's need bootloader locked if I am not wrong.

On some version of rom sometimes the phone restarts on its own, but this is not your case?
it's since 14.0.21?
Can be tried a Weekly by updating (to return after a stable, clean flash required).
Is the phone rooted?
Try the Taiwan global rom with miui message, dialer apps.

It's really surprising because one of the Xiaomi Eu rom devs has a Xiaomi 13, maybe try the last Weekly or there is a HW problem that happened between two roms.
