If you are running Package Disabler Pro, the developer said you need to enable all disabled packages before updating Android.

Then, most likely, the update will fail. Updates like this have checks to make sure that you haven't modified the system.

Anyone try using the Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant instead of waiting for the OTA?

On the disable, what if I used Debloater from GatesJr? Same thing, re-enable back?

Tried it, not available. Spoke with a rep, says its still a waiting game.

Mine is downloading now! I was a little crazy with the check for update button, but I got it downloading!

Mine is available too, but I may wait to later / When I'm home I can bring the phone back to stock, app wise.
Are you guys going to factory reset after the install? Is that necessary?

Hey guys. I don't have of S8 but i'm want to help you guys to get updates before they get to OTA liek i did for S8+. So now trying to find software update links. If someone would try to get me link as is showing for note4 but for S8 this will be great. This will help me to download DESC file and then i will get it download link for S8.

Instructions:
To get the ota files, The first boot after you take an OTA update, dial *#8736364#. This brings up the firmware update menu. Click on 'Result'. There, you will see a screen that looks like the one attached from Note 4. I need screen shoot or link from this screen to get download links.

You can use ADB sideload ( will wipe your phone) or call AT&T and explain your problem.

ADB sideload you can find video on YouTube. To call At&t , pick up phone and dial 611.

I know that but I was referring to unreleased updates. The active is an odd duck and doesn't get as much love as the base s8 or s8+.

Can I update my s8 active with adb sideload??

If you have the zip file sure. Update it the same you would any other phone.

Already solved by disabling dnd
Anyway, is it possible to change the corner radius for natifications panel? It looks prety odd now

Camera on my device works just fine after a factory reset.
My only problem now is how to remove the cellular signal since i only like to have just both wifi signal and battery only.
i tried hiding the cellular signal using the UI tuner but it seens to not work, any ideas?
Cons: the fact that the stock launcher is only the one who gets integrated in the recents is really bad, try using another custom launcher and the recents just get bad.

I'm in Poland and I just got the update. What's interesting is that I now have battery percentage in the statusbar.
Edit: Battery percentage can now be enabled using SystemUI tweaks.

So you telling us, that the update appeared by itself, you did not use VPN to force it??

I am From Pakistan And Subscribed To Beta By Recruitment Process. But Somehow Haven't Selected Yet . And As Well As Process Define Above Does Not Work Too And The Update Haven't Received Yet By Itself.
Can Someone Help/Guide How To Do.

Have to be eligible and have to download and sign into the Samsung Members (or Samsung+) app from the Google Play Store and it will notify you if you're eligible. I haven't got mine yet.

I'm Samsung unlocked SM-G970U. I'm hesitant at installing, people are claiming Media Scanner messes up things. I'll probably take all my pic/vids off phone and then update to beta.
