Hey,
I keep having connectivity issues on my updated OnePlus 6 Pie. After upgrade I have lost all devices connectivity, had to redo with some degree of difficulty. My car sees the phone, but I cannot route audio to the car. Spotify played over Bluetooth, but no sound in car. Tried with an iPod 7th gen and works perfect.
Has anyone experienced issues in Pie?
Thanks.

Are you using stereo module? If so just uninstall it and problem solved, had the same issue too.
Guys... Did you notice significant audio quality drop after updating to Pie? My V4A profiles sounds terrible after update... Bass often fades back, and I can't hear it anymore. Did they mess something with Bluetooth codecs/drivers? Can you help me getting better sound quality, like I had before? In worst case I'll downgrade to Oreo...

I've been using this headset for a long time now. And I would like to use it with my desire as well. But the sound quality is so poor that it's like listening to a 56k mp3 file while actually I'm playing a 320kbps mp3.
It seems to me that somehow the bitrate on the bluetooth connection isn't high enough(very low actually).
Does anybody here know how I can change that easily? Or do you have any other solutions for this problem without buying a new headset.
btw, I use a Sennheiser HD215 headphone or the SE in-ear ear buds.
thanks in advance
I'm using the SE MW600 and I have no problems. Using stock rom with the update.

Good for you, but I would like to know how to adjust the bluetooth bitrate on Android.
sorry if I sound a bit grumpy but I've been searching for about 1,5 days straight and still found nothing.

No actually I never touched these settings because they were already enabled when I paired the devices. And I figured it would be quite crucial to have those settings enabled if I wanted to use those profiles.

Was hoping you would conclude from my post that there isn't a problem with the Desire regarding bitrates over bluetooth. Does the headset work on other devices without problems?

Ok, I know that for example the mw600 headset from SE works fine. So I think it's just the combination of devices, but that would be solved if I would be able to alter the bitrate.
I have used the headset with other devices without any problem, other than that I had to set the bitrate higher on a WM 6.5 device.
Hey,
I've recently noticed that the mic volume on my Moto G is really low.
For example, I can't use Shazam to discover a song, unless I go INTO the speaker , it's impossible to use it in a crowded or noisy room (my old phone worked perfectly).
Whatsapp audio recording: same issue, very low volume.
Is someone else facing this problem?
Please give me a feedback!
Yeap same for me.
(XT1032 German Stock Rom)
On Phonecalls same Situation. No idea what it is.

Same here.
The only way out is SoundHound. It works perfectly.
I think it is something wrong with Shazam, not Moto G.

Thanks for the feedback
There seems to be the same problem with all Xperia devices, but i couldn't find much about it with the Z3.
When playing music via bluetooth to a apt-x receiver there is a little break every few hundred milliseconds. This is really annoying and makes it impossible to use it at all. For some reason, sometimes it is just working fine with perfect sound quality. Also, with a non-apt-x receiver there is no problem.
I'm using 5 GHz WiFi and with my S3 and my Note 10.1 2014 or iPhones the connection works perfectly.
I already tried the old Bluetooth fix for the Z1, but it doesn't help.
Do you experience the same issue or do you have any solution?
I'm using the Avantree Saturn bluetooth receiver.
edit: sometimes it works fine for a while and then suddenly, e.g. when i start a game, it starts to stutter
No issues with my Sony SRS X7 Bluetooth/WiFi Speaker ....................unless its not using Apt-X some reason.
It says "connected to aptX-device" if it's a aptX connection
You are right I checked, it says Apt-X device while connecting. So I guess it works fine for me. I have not had any issues.
Thanks for checking! That's strange though, I found some other posts about that issue, mainly with car radios. Maybe it works because you have a Sony speaker
I think it differs device to device I had no issues with a HarmonKardon Onyx Studio either.
On Amazon there are a few people saying they get that issue with that Bluetooth reciever with other devices. I suppose it does not like the Z3.
Mine does not Display Aptx when connecting to my SRS-X5 or My Ecoxbt, which both supports Aptx.
When exactly does it display it?
Sent from my D6616 using XDA Free mobile app
Right as your connecting it. It will say "Connected to Apt-X device" in a notification near screen bottom, and then disappear.
Mine does not display Apt-x.
Edit: I can't seem to upload a pic.

Not the main notification.
It stays for like 2 secs near the bottom of the screen just after it finishes pairing.
It's in German but this is what it looks like

On which amazon have you found that? On the German nobody posted anything about stuttering or the Z3

Ah so it's a toast notification. I'm not getting it. I even unpaired and paired again, still no Apt-X message.
Does this mean Apt-X my Z3 is not working for some reason?

US site, by few I mean only 10 or 15 people out 200+ reviews. But I think its safe to say it depends on device to device.
I have a problem with the bluetooth in my car it is always disconnected (Toyota original device) and after a while connect again.
Has anyone had issues in regards to using Bluetooth with Bluetooth headphones? This will be one of my primary uses of this phone. I heard rumors that music over Bluetooth can stutter.
Cheers.

I'm running rooted stock and I use bluetooth ear buds all the time and I've never had any stutter while playing music.
Hi, using Apple Airpods with my Sony XZ with Android 8 Oreo
No problem with music but after few seconds of call (duration may vary) the BT connect and disconnect switching the audio between airpods and phone.
Tried with an old Sony Z3c with MM and they works perfectly either playing music or during call. Has anybody else experienced such problem and found a solution ? Thanks
Hi,
I got the same issue, just try with one airpod and it's going to work like a charm

Thanks for replying, I know this "workaround" and it is ok when you use the airpods mainly for calls. While running and listening music, whenever you receive a call, it is not so handy to unwear one of them and put in the case (otherwise it doesn't switch off), that's why I am looking for a real fix, if any.

Has anyone found a fix for this?
I recently bought a pair of AirPods and I encounter the same issue.
