I think I can help your but I don`t know how to give you the file

You can download the file straight from xiaomi here: http://en.miui.com/download-343.html
Actually MIUI 10 is the stable version now, but I assume you just mean opting out of the beta testing program?
You download the file, go to system update and hit the three dots on the top right, select update package, and go find the file you downloaded. It will verify it and then reboot and install.

I just rolled back to the stable ROM from the Android P developer ROM. You'll have to unlock the bootloader and flash the stable ROM via fastboot/Mi Flash. This is because the Android versions are different.

[ROM] XIAOMI.EU Mi MIX - Nougat 7.x - MIUI 9.x based (start: August 25th, 2017)

An official Xiaomi release timeline has been posted on: http://en.miui.com/thread-711086-1-1.html
... in result of this an release schedule has been made public for XIAOMI.EU ROMs here: https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/7-8-11-first-miui-9.40890/
conclusion: Expect an update/release delay at least until August 25th, 2017
Sorry, but wouldn't that be better placed in news section? If i remember xda rules right a ROM thread needs a download!
Hey @pappschlumpf,
you're absolutely right, of course. Thread re-created in news.

This maybe a stupid question but here goes...I really don't know how to ask this without it sounded confusing. Ok, my mi mix came with a MIUI installed, I unlocked the bootloader and rooted and have twrp installed. Now I installed Epic ROM it didn't have MIUI in the discription of the epic ROM I flashed. Do I have to flash a MIUI ROM or can I flash any ROM as long as it's for my mi mix.

When you say the description you mean... The zip file name? The MIUI version in settings?
When rooted and with unlocked bootloader and working twrp you should be able to flash any of the roms you find in this forum for Lithium, which is the code name for this device. MIUI is just the official builds of the manufacturer Xiaomi...
Here we are... 25th!

I do not see any 8.5.4 stable version for the Mix. Latest China Stable is 8.5.3 and latest Global Stable is even older.
Anyway, if you wana go from a stable build to xiaomi.eu you need an unlocked bootloader, twrp, etc... Follow @underlines wonderful guide in Mix guides section in this forum

[CLOSED]Firmwares for Mido Stable & Beta[CLOSED]

FROM HERE ON THE FIRMWARES WILL BE MAINTAINED BY THE ORIGINAL AUTHOR OF THE FIRMWARES, @yshalsager.
CLICK HERE TO GO THE THREADThis thread will be closed soon.
Thank You.
LATEST FIRMWARE PACKAGES FOR RN4 MIDO.
Download links pulled from @yshalsager 's thread.Hello XDA readers, I have created this thread to maintain an easy access to the latest firmwares for RN4(MIDO) which is being regularly kept up to date by @yshalsager. You can visit his thread here. You may ask why do we need this thread if someone else has already done the work. Simply because some people who are new to flashing might get lost and confused at his thread on which package to download and what not. Even experienced users can save the hassle of searching the appropriate links. So enough justification, let's get to the stuff.
So here you will find four links, which are:
•STABLE
1) Global Stable(Extracted from MIUI Stable Global releases)
2) China Stable(Extracted from MIUI Stable China release)•BETA
3) Global Beta (Extracted from MIUI Beta Global releases)
4) China Beta(Extracted from MIUI Beta China releases)
If you want the latest up to date firmwares for your device and mind don't bugs from beta you should download the appropriate BETA.
If the want the most stable firmware for your devices you should download the appropriate STABLE.
So which is appropriate? China or Global??
If you find yourself asking this question please download the GLOBAL version only. If you should flash China you will know it.
Download links:
•STABLE GLOBAL(MIUI v9.2.1)
•STABLE CHINA(MIUI v9.2.1)
•BETA GLOBAL(MIUI v8.3.8)(Updated on 09/03/18)
•BETA CHINA(MIUI v8.3.8)(Updated on 09/03/2018)
Refer to Google or MIUI website with the MIUI version mentioned to know more like baseband version and stuff.
Note:
•This is just a firmware and not a ROM.
•It is not only for MIUI, every custom ROM also needs the latest firmwares so you can flash this on custom ROMs too.
•If you had a custom boot splash image it will be replaced by stock, re-flash after flashing new firmware to get it back.
•Links here are updated regularly, whenever an update is out.
Thank you for your time.
I think at least you should have put my thread link

Just like in a computer how every hardware requires it's own driver to be installed similarly on an android phone firmwares are responsible for that. They are like drivers for your phone hardware. The software between your phone's hardware and ROM.
No it doesn't mess with the kernel.
No it won't break any ROM. Actually it might even fix some bugs if you flash the latest stable firmware.

yeah i was a former beta member for miui so i knew the update schedule, but I'm new to use a custom rom so i had a doubt on firmware, anyways thanks for replying
Many thanks for this useful thread.
I am using an unlocked MIDO device with oreo custom roms but I didn't update the firmware/modem yet.
Just 2 questions:
- Can I simple flash the new firmware .zip from recovery, reflash the custom rom and reboot or there are other actions needed (for example to reflash the custom recovery)?
- Why the Stable version number (v9.2.1) is higher that the Beta version (v8.2.1)?

Just flash latest firmware, no matter on what rom you are, no other action needed. Beta version uses date in naming and is not the same naming system reference as the stable build. Beta is always newer than beta, might contain bugs though ( i always use beta, not a single issue so far).

Yes you can flash the firmware from TWRP like a normal zip. Reflashing your ROM is not necessary although it is a good thing.
And the version number is that specific firmware's MIUI version and that's Xiaomi style of numbering their beta ROMs. Latest firmware is always BETA.
I leave some weed here..
Thank you man you save my life lmao
My network is not stable it keeps hunting for signals & my network keeps changing like three times in 1 second already flashed latest stable firmware still facing this issue btw i am using jio 4G . Should i try beta firmware ?

This problem is reported by almost all custom ROM users. There will be son be fix for it hopefully. But in the meantime yes beta firmware might be able to fix that since it is constantly being updated every week, it's worth a try but no guarantees..

Hello.
I want to buy a Lenovo P8 from Gearbest: https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_1542868.html?wid=1640583
I have some questions:
1. It comes with Android 6.0 and has a locked bootloader (I think, it can't be unlocked). Can it receive update to oreo (the custom rom from this thread)?
2. Is it possible to install TWRP and then the custom ROM?
3. Is The Oreo stable ? Phone calling and FM radio is supported on this custom ROM? How much space is used (from 16 GB)?
4. Where can I find the stock ROM (Android 6.0), just in case if something goes wrong? On Lenovo website I cant find the stock ROM, and if something goes wrong (even with TWRP) I want to have the possibility of flashing the stock via QFIL.
(5.) On which kernel is based
A. Stock ROM
B. Oreo custom
Thanks!

Question TWRP for Poco x3 Pro

Why wouldn't it be able to be unlocked? oh I guess you meant if anyone had already gotten past the unlock timer...
I'm about to try and unlock mine (or I guess start the timer before actually unlocking it) but I'm waiting for it to update everything first.
EDIT: I got the 1 week timer.

Glad you finally understood what I meant, lol... I currently own both the One Plus 7T and Xiaomi Pocophone F1 which both required a timed bootloader unlock process: Poco's was 3 days and the 7T's was 1 full week. I was hoping that the bootloader could be unlocked automatically w/o having to wait, but oh well, I guess it's a necessary evil.
Just got mine! (6,128)
I immediately tried to unlock the bootloader, just after getting it. heh
Got 168h
Got 168 too. I should have tried to unlock immediately. But i did it after my work and wasted 18 hours
Looks like some TWRP showed up for our device under that link I posted earlier

This is build by thespartann, i know because im in the group that he released it in.. but its still untested because no boot loader unlocked as of yet.. so use with caution
You can simply boot it rather than flash it
Code:
fastboot boot twrp.img
Make sure you unplug the USB cable from the phone as soon as it's done uploading the file to the device. The timing is very important. You'll understand what I mean in a little bit less than a week

Dude you aren't missing out a lot i got the update and installed it I can tell it's really bad battery life isn't as good as on Android 10 + so many lags and glitches here and there, even there's no option in settings for Android 11 bubbles and the bubbles aren't circle they are squares. It's so messed up.
I want to go back to android 10 if someone knows how please let me know.
