ColorOS 5.0: Is there a way to remove the Notification Bar yellow warning? - Android General

When I perform any of the following operations, the Notification Bar flashes with yellow warning!!
Does there exists a method or trick to bypass this.
In Settings -> Additional Settings -> Developer Options -> Select USB Configuration, and select any one configuration
If you have installed any of the applications Microsoft Authenticator, Avast Mobile Security, Button Mapper, Tasker,
Goto Settings -> Additional Settings -> Device & Privacy -> DEVICE ADMINISTRATION -> Device Manager, and activate the application as a Device Manager.
If you have installed any of the applications Action Launcher, Avast Cleanup, Avast Mobile Security, Button Mapper, Tasker
Goto Settings -> Additional Settings -> Accessibility-> Downloaded Services, and activate the application.
Notification Bar flashes with yellow warning!! What the heck Oppo ??!!
There is a line between Security and Usability! We are no longer living in the brick phone era. There are smartphones, and there exist people that are actually smart!
NOTE: There is word that if ColorOS is rooted, the Notification bar will display a Red warning with text Rooting has been detected(hxxp://google.com/search?q=color+os+%2B+rooting+has+been+detected). This was for ColorOS 3.0. And there seems to an Xposed module to thwart it for that version of ColorOS.
So does there exist a way to resolve or bypass this?

Slow notifcations during sleep ?

It seem push notification does not work well with Mate 7... for instance... whatsapp web.. in order for it to read messages at all I need to push the power button constantly to wake it up from sleep..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-7/help/push-notification-data-screen-off-t2985489
I don't know if this has been solved but their is a option on mate 7 which allows you to toggle between notification push and how you handle it when screen is off.
Go into protected apps and enable it and make sure notification manager is set to allow.
i dont see notification manager in protected app.
it's in settings.
Under "privacy & security" you'll see Notification manager and Protected Apps.
From main settings i have only security option no privacy&security.Mine mate 7 is 09-european version.
I'd suggest taking a look at your settings again.
Under "Privacy & Security" section you have:
- Location Access
- Do not disturb
- Notification Manager
- Protected Apps
- Security
- Fingerprint ID
- Backup & Reset
Yes i was in restricted and notification options but there is no option to set notification manager to allow, notify or restrict options.Notification manager is not on the list of apps for which you can set this 3 options or notification manager is with some other name in the main list.

[Completed] Turn off screen overlay all at once

Hi,
Very often when I want to install an application I have this message "screen overlay detected, please disable" that appears and keeps me from continuing. I am forced to go into the settings, to disable one by one this authorization for each application. Then I go back on the new application to complete the installation. Then I return to the screen overlay management to accept it again for each application. It takes ages :crying:
Is there not a way to disable all at once and then reactivate all at once ?
Thank you
Hi and welcome to assist,
Try this steps:
Go to Settings > Apps > 'Advanced' (near the bottom) - under 'Advanced' subsection, access 'Draw over other apps'. Here, individually change the settings of ALL the apps to 'No' (in other words, disable 'Permit drawing over other apps' for every app). Once done, you can freely change apps' permissions in Settings > Apps > [name of app] > 'Permissions' without the annoying 'Screen overlay detected...' warning popping-up every time. Once you have correctly changed the permissions (for every app that's not working properly), you should return to individually change each of the apps' settings to 'Yes' in the 'Draw over other apps' section (in other words, re-enable 'Permit drawing over other apps' for every app).
Good luck,
Razvan

How to remove Device Security notification

I've recently upgraded to Android Nougat 7.0.
Right from the beginning I've got a notification on the settings icon with an orange "1", leading me to Device Maintenance/Device Security, where it recommends to uninstall an app I'd like to keep. I could not find how to remove this notification off of it.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Un-V the app on the device security page.
2. Disable Battery notifications
3. Disable device security.
None of the above would do anything.
Help much appreciated.

A set of modifications with the management of settings through the application offlin

A set of modifications with the management of settings through the application offline settings
Installation
Code:
You can install both on the official firmware, and on the custom one, if on the custom one, then just select the necessary items except the magisk item
For official:
1. Flash through the official firmware odin
2. Then I personally go into the stock recovery and do two wipe - cache and date / factor, then turn it off and into firmware mode
3. From the firmware mode according to the model, flash through odin twrp from here
4. After logging in to TWRP, you can make the format date yes and reboot the recovery, but not necessarily if you have done point 2. - after (if there is no memory card - connect the phone to the computer and drop it into memory) throw the Mod + Al_pie_odex_ script into memory
5. Installing Mod + Al_pie_odex_ without wipes with a choice at this stage of the magisk item and settings without additional functions - reinstall the firmware
6. After reinstallation, some modifications are not applied, so once again we make a choice from the Mod + Al_pie_odex_ script and additionally install the dialer modification, but do not select the magisk item and do not enter the magisk, select settings without additional functions
7. After reinstallation for optimization and verification can be done through the settings - Reset data, the phone must re-install the firmware, but not necessarily
8. Now you can make settings with built-in additional functions and configure magisk (a magisk will appear in the menu, which will prompt you for actions)
9. To manage modifications (if you didn’t choose the built-in settings) install AutoSet_Mod + Al_pie_

Disable Submenus in Settings. - Allow only Display/Audio etc.

Hello,
I am Using Zebra TC72 Android 10 Devices implemented in Enterpise Mode in Microsoft Intune with Managed Homescreen.
Certain settings are Pushed by Zebra Managed Config throug the Intune interface.
Now I have the isssue, that it seems that Enterprise Mode disables the Quick Settings Menu which would otherwise be available in the Notification bar.
There was everything the user should be able to alter manually like, brightness, inverted colors etc.
I can reach part of it if I restrict the settings menu with the Zebra Tools. https://techdocs.zebra.com/oemconfig/9-1/mc/#usereducedversion
For this I would simply enable the "android.settings" shortcut in the Managed Homescreen, the Zebra Framework would care about the limited view.
But it only allows Access to Display Submenu, For Color Inversion I need the accessibility menu for example.
I can´t find any way to alter the policies in a way, where I could specify which submenus get blocked.
So I need either.
1.) Find a way to access the Quick Controls / Quick Menu from the notification bar again - be it by sliding it down or setting up a shortcut to the Package Name directy?
or
2.) Find a way to limit the Submenus in android.settings I exactly need.
Any Ideas?
