AOSPA is still stuck on Oreo, why are you paying any attention to it?
I'll be honest, I'm excited for a Pie release with their new navigation gestures, but as long as it's on Oreo, I don't see anyone besides the nostalgia-crazed people flashing an Oreo-based build.

[Q] question about CM12 Unofficial Hammerhead

It seems that since a couple of new builds in, there's suddenly a stream open to the official OTA updates in the CM updater in the unofficial builds of @mo976, are these builds similar or identical? What's the difference?
I might be mistaken though, but wanted to be sure about this..
Thanks a lot, I'm enjoying these builds either way mo976. :good:
Difference is, one is official, and the other isn't. Best to rely on the official one because of the amount of people working on it.
Thanks man :good:

[Q] When is OPO getting official Android L?

Hi, I'm sorry if I've not found the right thread to answer my question but I've gone through a lot of Googling and not found one source stating exactly when OPO will be getting an official Android L update.
I've been using Liquid Smooth's Android L, but there are issues, and there seems to be at least one issue with all the ROMs. I'd like just one stable ROM of Android L that doesn't have the camera glitches, etc. that I'm used to.
Also, maybe I'm just bad at Googling, but I can't find any information on when OPO has planned to roll out official Android L report. I followed one link, quoting a developer stating that it would come out in Feb, but the link it cited had no such information. Has something happened to OnePlus and CM?
When will OPO get an official Android L?
What is my best bet for a stable Android L mod? I'd like Android L, but I'm considering just going back to the default ROM because of all these issues.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
Nobody knows. Nobody can answer that except for CM and they won't answer requests for ETA's.
I run Vanir-Exodus and it's completely stable, so maybe you just need to do some more testing and find one that suits you.
isnt OxygenOS Offical Android L for OPO

Only in India., end it hasn't even happened yet. CM is the official firmware everywhere else.

Didnt Cyanogen himself said its coming in Feb ? although it makes no sense for them to release 11S update.... maybe this recent update was to shut some people up

[Peregrine] Is there any updated CM13 ROM with PIE?

Im looking to go into peregrine, i was on falcon in the past for a very long time and loved LiquidSmooth so hard, but well, now i can see BeanStalk the most recent rom with PIE and its discontinued by the DEV, is there any alternative to get PIE in CM13 with a Peregrine?
Thanks in advance, quote me or mention to get answer please!

OnePlus one ROM question

Hello, xda. New here. I have a question regarding OnePlus One CM14.1. I saw this thread on xda of a CM14.1 unofficial ROM in OnePlus X. I just want to know if it's compatible with the One, since both are pretty similar in specs. If not, how do I port it? Thank you.
Hi,
you should not try to flash oneplus X rom on the oneplus One. It may brick your device.
there is no need to port it, because our beloved devs will build cm 14.1 for the opo really soon, because 14 got dropped and 14.1 is the latest dev branch, so everyone will jump on the cm14.1 train sooner or later.
If you want to try your luck and knowledge, you can build cm 14.1 for oneplus one from github sources (if there are avaiable)

Considering it took months for them to have CM 13 for the OnePlus One and that they now have 20% fewer employees, I don't anticipate there being an official CM 14 for a few months. Definitely not worth checking daily - even if it does come out soon, it'll be bare bones CM (minimal features) and highly likely to be buggy.

Looks like (unofficial) CM14.1 tastes some bacon

Oreo Rom For Sony Xperia L

Since Android Oreo 8.0 will release in a few days
I just want to know that will the developers create a custom rom based on the new android 8
I have been using my Sony Xperia L for so many years & I have used from 4.2 to 7.1 All of it
and now I'm using the nougat rom its very stable and I like it very much
If custom Oreo is created please give me a reply .Thanks
Whoa, slow down there cowboy.
It's not even out yet - and it usually takes a couple of months for the most popular devices to start getting good ROM builds. The devs can't work that quickly; don't forget that these are not official OEM updates.
The OEMs get the source code earlier, and they have entire teams working on them. Error checking (and fixing) takes a lot less time when you have teams that big. That's why it seems like they release stable builds "right off the bat" - but in reality they've been working on them for a couple of months.
If the developers don't want to do it, they won't. If they want, they will. Don't nag them about this, and don't be ungrateful.

Sorry for being so quick
But I saw a video about Android 8 beta running on a pixel device. And I really liked it
That's the reason that I asked about the ROM
And for making a ROM it's really hard and I know it after reading your reply
I thank all the developers for the amazing work they have done and I'm really grateful.
I'll wait.
