Hello,
I am trying to build an application which requires the Licensed or open live fuel(petrol, diesel, CNG, etc.) prices in a dataset of a certain region within a country or of a certain country.
Those commercial prices will be further used in the application to enhance its features.
The fuel prices should be updated as per the region in a country and as per the time(supposedly on daily basis)

According to Android market place agreements we cannot have a subscription based model for an app in the store i.e., free for first 1 month and then pay for following months.
It is either free or paid!
What if we develop our own service to track the usage of the app and suggest purchase for further use? Will this violate the Market place terms and conditions?
If yes, how can it be done?
Are there any apps in market place which follow a similar model?
It would of great help to find answers here!
Thanks for your time,
Theja
Hello everyone ,
First off, I apologize if this is the wrong type of question, but you are the only community I know that has the knowledge of the technical details am I looking for. I have asked this in several communities but failed to deliver a proper question and get a proper response.
Here is my train of thought, I hope you can follow:
So I have the presentation about mechanisms of online mobile app stores. I have to describe security and financial mechanisms (background asspects), protocols that are used when app is downloading from market. Also, I have to describe the architecture of that stores, although they don't have some unique architecture, but it describes their work as the principle. So, the main purpose of this presentation is to see how to implement online mobile app store and which technologies and protocols to use.
Thanks in advance
Dear All,
We are conducting a study on users’ adoption to the new Android Runtime Permission Model.
The study has been approved by the UCL Research Ethics Committee (Project ID Number): 8945/001.
We need your help on this project. Please participate to our survey and distribute it to people you know.
The participants just have to download an Android app (we developed) on their devices from the Google Play Store and answer 6 multiple-choice questions.
It won’t take more than a couple of minutes for the participant to download, install and use the app.
The app can be found at the Google Play Store; look for the “Permissions Snapshot” app (developer: Panagiotis Andriotis).
Mod edit: link info removed.
Please read the information displayed on the app’s page at the Google Play store if you have any further questions.
We request to keep this app on your device for a period of one month after you complete the questionnaire.
You will be given the chance to participate again in due course.
Information given is ANONYMOUS!!!
REQUIREMENTS: As a user,
· You must have a device running the Android Marshmallow Operating System (version 6.0+).
· Your device must be connected to the Internet.
· You are happy to provide us anonymous information related to app permissions on your device.
· You are over 18 years old.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and help.
Kind Regards,
Dr Panagiotis Andriotis

Saw the front page story about MX Player being sold, and plans to ruin it by changing it to a streaming media app
I bought it as a premium standalone, simple and very good video player
I want nothing to do with whatever comes next
Where do I request a refund?
Off to VLC
Are we sure changes will also be made to premium version? If that happens, that will disappointing as MX Player is by far the best video player for Android. I hope changes are made only to free version.

Hi,
The Streaming platform will be available only for Indian users. The offline player is still in active development. We are already working on several features based on the user requests. Integration of streaming platform will not affect the Internation users in any way. So, no need to worry about it. We will not disappoint you.!

HI,
We care about you. There will not be any changes to our existing Policies.
For your better understanding, the online streaming feature is something we are offering only to the Indian audience. So, It will not affect you in any way. Being a major developer on Google Play, we care about the user's privacy and are in full compliance with the local & international privacy protection laws. So, no need to worry about. If you have any concerns feel free to get back to us. We will get back to ASAP.
Hi everybody,
My name is Anna and I am from Germany.
In January my husband Alex and I launched a new app called Comparator Pro. It's our first app project and we would like to introduce it to you.
Unfortunately, I still can't post links here, but you can find it by its name 'Comparator Pro' at the google play store.
There is an iOS version also, you can find it at our website: app.comparator.pro
We hope, you'll enjoy it and we would be glad to hear any comments, advices or some words, what do you think about it.
Thanks,
Anna & Alex

First of all thank you for your feedback,
I'll try to answer your questions
There is no special currency or country requirements. Our app is now available worldwide and you can use it anywhere. The thing is, that the country or city, where people most actively use the app, exactly in this country or city it will show the best profit.
The only one restriction by searching prices and products is that you can get the information about it only in the country, where you are at the moment of using the app. If you go to another country or city, you will accordingly get the information about it.
At the moment there is a special algorithm dealing with spam. The user's involvement will be rewarded with bonuses by improvement of the wrong or not actual database, for example, special offers or sales, which change currently.
