Hi guys,
I'm looking for a solution to root this watch :
M9 4G MTK6737 smartwatch running on Android 6.0
(i can't post the url)
800$ to the one that will provide me the solution. This is legit, will be paid through upwork.com or any other escrow service you want.

Couldn't you just pull the boot.IMG and just patch it to support twrp then just flash your chosen root method
Hi ttocs99,
Thx for the answer,
How do you do that :
patch it to support twrp
Thx
Well, a SmartWatch. I didn't got the latest packaging and actually wouldn't mean a lot to to retake the research.
Do conventional root methods don't work?
For phones at all there are more than one exploit, never had a mtk(mediatek) either.
Look for stuff similar to this:

Does anybody know what the update was about yesterday? I don't seem to notice anything different...was to fix that leak?

Wonder if it was to fix the stagefright vulnerability? I downloaded 3 apps to check for that 2 said I wasn't vulnerable and the 3rd said I still was lol so I'm not sure if I am still or not.

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this so please forgive my ignorance.
I've been looking everywhere for a root solution for my Gal S6 Edge + (ATT) and haven't even found people complaining they cant find anything for my build.
I'm trying to find a compatible root that wont disable or trip KNOX or brick my phone due to ATT iron grip.
Can anyone point me in the right direction; I've been to all the normal places one would look.
Is it so that there isn't a root solution out yet?
I'm on
5.1.1
Kernal Verion 3.10.61-5554916 / Sun Aug 30
Build: LMY47X
Baseband: G928AuCU1A0H5
KNOX 2.5
I can't be the only one with this phone who wants to root; I just want verification that there isn't anything out yet.
I can't stand the ATT apps that auto update even when I tell them not too, I want control of my OWN phone I paid in full for.
Thanks again

There is no root available for our G928A (S6 Edge+) device. With the new update patching the Stagefright exploit, I highly doubt that there will be root for Edge+ on AT&T. Furthermore, if you can't find root chances are that there is no root. You're not the only one that wants root, we all want root for our devices. You can either wait for a solution to come about, deal without root, and/or return the phone and get a phone that has root access.
Thank you for the clarification.
I'll have to wait and keep my fingers crossed.
It's great to buy your own devices and still be controlled by your carrier isn't it..

There won't be root for that device. Sell it before you miss the big boat on pricing and get the international version that has root.

Hello everybody!!! I own a Coolpad 5380CA smartphone bought in China and I was thinking to root it because it was built in 2017 and it has Android 6.0.1 without any update until now. My goal is to root it and install a custom rom after that to upgrade its android. That's the good part. The bad one is because my model is only for China (it has chinese and english as main languages) I haven't found a custom rom to install on it, because all the big ROMs don't support the model (it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 proccessor) and maybe I can damage the phone if I install a wrong ROM and I don't wanna lose it because it's a good cheap phone (3Gb RAM and 16GB internal, metal body case, fingerprint, etc)
So, my question here is, Is it worth to root the smartphone? If so, what method could be the best? (thinking to use Kingo Root app).
Anyone know a Custom ROM I can install in this smartphone?
Thanks to everybody and excuse my english

Hola my friend
Unfortunately I couldn't find out my smartphone model in the link you sent me. I'm thinking using Kingo Root app in order to try to root my phone.
After that I will try to find out a custom ROM who fit my device because I haven't could find one... a long and difficult quest.
Thanks anyway
I know that using unofficial ROMs and firmware is always risky, but I'm wondering if this is legit. I want to update my Vivo Y51A (unsupported) to at least Android 8 (Oreo), and this website claims to have all the supplies needed for that, but would they actually work?
How to flash Vivo Y51A. Update to Android 9Pie, 10 Q, 11 | Guideroot
Download firmware for Vivo Y51A. Updating smartphone firmware to Android 10 Q
guideroot.net
Edit: So it seems that the rooting apps suggested could be dubious. What alternatives (noob-friendly and free) can I use instead, if the rest of this is legit?
Thank you in advance!
Note: I am a noob, please make your answer noob-friendly
It's 11 o'clock at night, do you know where your firmware is?
If there was even the slightest doubt I wouldn't touch it... actions have consequences.

hehe true dont worry im getting help or at least trying to *oof*
Hopefully someone here knows about this variant or has a better plan for you.
My POV: rooting a phone or replacing the stock rom with a custom rom has become a pointless popular sport. At the end of the day, no better device comes out than the one you bought.
To be on the safe side only use rooting tools / custom recoveries / custom ROMs authored by non-chinese people and introduced and provided here on XDA.

Yes I really want a plan apparently LineageOS doesn't have anything for Vivo phones so I need an alternative.

Maybe a better question is why do you want to root it?
