Hey guys recently i found this wonderful app to change the saturation value of our displays.
Redmi note 5 has really dull and washed colors.This app greatly improves the display colors.You just need a rooted device,nothing else.
Set value to whatever you like.I use 1.30

Yes turn it on and close the app.It will not change unless you change your value again.

Works perfectly on Miui 10 global stable. Really makes the colours pop now!

This amazing app works both on my redmi note 5 and mi 8 ( pie miui 10)! Is app software snapdragon chipshet related? Is possible to work on Samsung exynos like note 9? I am interesting to purchase note 9 exynos and I know that kcal control works only on snapdragons. Thanks!

It won't happen, 5s has special coprocessor in it so you won't see anything nearly as good for N5.

Htc one has also a slo mo function, so i think if the processor is fast enogh and the cam takes enogh pics it will work. And i think also the n5 could do it.

From what I know, the iphone 5s records at 120fps, this is all possible because of a hardware combination of the camera, and their in house processor has a dedicated chip for this. It's the only phone that does this, the HTC One does this, but only at about 1/2 the frames. So I stand by my word. The N5 will not see comparable slow-mo to the iphone or likely even the HTC One. So I think the N5 can take at least 90 fps without any problems

Nope? From what I understand it is the same Google Camera from the play store, its just an updated version that hasn't been pushed to the store for other devices yet. That's how it's been in the past.
The Nexus 6 use the same apk as the Nexus 5 and 4 and I assume that trend will continue.

I think most people want the new camera app as seen on Nexus 5X and 6P reviews, not the app (google camera) provided for older nexus devices on marshmallow.

The new camera app seen in videos of the 5x and 6p is the Google Camera App available on the Play Store. From what I can tell they just haven't pushed the updates out to older devices yet.
Google wants to keep what they can on the Play Store to allow for easy, quick, and timely updates. You can tell the interface is pretty much the same, other than a few aesthetic/functionality refinements. The camera settings menu is identical to the current one with just added options for new recording modes(4k video recording and slow-motion video).

Really this was the only camera i got for Redmi Note 4X, without the dark video bug. Finally i can reuse my AOSP Extended Custom Rom.

Slow motion video quality is really pathetic, but it's also bad on MIUI so not sure if bug..
2160p video recording at 19fps.

You guys be the judge, the darker photo is from Google camera HDR mod and the lighter one is from this thread.
As said above the colors are a bit off because the clears the photo way too much still I can't complaint it really lights up the pictures, I'm gonna keep both and use Google cam for daylight and this one for night time

Same version with camera config nexusexp2017, I'm on slim7 1.10 and electrablue kernel, no issues whatsoever.

For some reason it doesn't work for me. It says camera error please restart camera even though I've manually given all the permission... I'm on AOSP 15, someone got any idea why?

You may need to edit the build.prop file and enable the persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 and it will work.
does google camera get dark too? if not, please send me link
As you all know the stock camera app does not give great quality photos like Google Camera. I know we can get Google Camera but Camera2api needs to be enabled for that. I do not want to root my phone. Are there any apps without root which can give me photots like the Google Camera?:laugh:

Front camera is working but I don't think it is using HDR. Portrait Mode for front camera doesn't work.
A bit better front cam, working only without HDR+ ( Enhanced and Portrait )

Didn't work on my Note 5 AI front HDR black screen same goes for front portrait
I've tried mgc 5.2.25 and hdr+ on front camera still only black image and if flash on the result is yellowish
Slomo works well.
Edit:front cam portrait mode won't work
After more testing I can confirm black images but only when I try front portrait. When I use just hdr+ enhanced on front it captures pictures without problem even in low light.
