I searched about this topic without success.
After update to estable global MIUI 10.0 (10.0.2.0) volume buttons cause mutimedia volume changes instead of tone volume changes. I need to expand the volume pannel to manually change the ring volume. Somebody has the same issue? There is any workaround for this?

If you press the volume slider or click the volume icon and change the volume of either the phone ringer or the general(?) volume my Wizard usually clicks at the volume level I select. On my 'test' Wizard this doesn't make any sound, however I know the speaker works. What is the registry entry that controls this?

Phone->Optons->Ring type = none
use the volume butons while the phone is ringing. You can also remap a button to have the same function as volume up/down (using a software like AEButtons or something similar) and press that instead (i have used the gps buton remaped for volume down).
yes, but in this way you have to restore the volume settings after the call...am I wrong?
Not sure what post you're referring to but if you hit the volume button while it's ringing you silence the ringer (different than dismissing). You don't have to restore volume settings afterwards.

No matter who's ROM that's 23569 based I have tried, and a few earlier ones, the volume up and down keys do not lock when you lock the screen. So I keep finding that my Fuze volume status will change from speaker on to vibrate or vibrate to silent. Anyone know of a ROM that locks this, a software patch or is there some kind of registry fix to prevent this?

I use Tarkim's modified keyboard driver http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=521786 it offers to remap keys even when screen is locked. I change my volume keys to a long press to set volume and a short press does nothing. This keeps from accidentally changing volume while holding phone.
With CM-10, I have noticed that the call volume is really loud starting off and the volume bar is all the way down. During the call if i raise the volume all the way up, then bring it all the way down it seems to be at a normal level then. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue?

Anyone know of a way to enable some better volume adjustment for ringtone/notification? I'm on BLN-L24C567B360 and since that update even the lowest setting is too loud. All of the apps/modules/tweaks I see only seem to reference media and in-call volume :/
