Okay so Nokia 6.1 doesn't come with much bloatware but out of curiosity I wanted to see how much I could remove from it

Did you find anything new? I uninstalled anything I could find with pm that sounded related to power or battery protection, but I didn't keep notes on anything I found that wasn't on your list. The phone is still ruthlessly killing background apps. I've never seen it use more than 1.7 gb. I'm starting to think we have to do more than uninstall it for user 0, but without an unlocked bootloader that's not happening.
I bought this phone because I thought with Android One I'd be getting a nice pure experience like Pixel or Moto phones, only actually updated like Lenovorola no longer seems to care at all about. Now in actual use I find out it is packed with this evenwell crapware because software clearly is not HMD Global's strong suit.
I'm probably going to pick up a OnePlus 6T. Maybe try to get a discounted one when they release the 7. I hate to give up on the Nokia 6.1 so fast, but this just isn't what I expected.

You can try to buy files to unlock the bootloader and then try to play with memory settings, I've seen it go to 2.1gb after debloating so far

I can, I use it almost daily and it works just normally

Ok, i'll try this again as it rolls over to page 2 as well as being on page 1!
Do I need to copy and paste these 1 by 1 or can I copy the lot and paste in 1 go?
Also would the task killer mentioned in post 2 and 3 be the reason why sometimes Whatsapp notification sounds don't trigger.
I have it set to non optimised battery and adaptive battery turned off.

You can paste it in the lot, WhatsApp worked normally for me even when the phone was in its stock form

Yeah you will need to repeat it after an OTA update, luckily it's easy and quick so it's not a biggie
I don't know what to say about WhatsApp tho, let us know it you get it fixed

Sorry to hijack this, but just to update on the WhatsApp issue.
Since changing the notification from a custom (16kb) mp3 to a stock Nokia tone (Nokia Message 06) every WhatsApp message I have received has triggered the notification sound.
This is all speculative though as I don't get many, so will need to test for longer for a definitive conclusion.
As yet I am still to try out the Debloat listing as originally posted, but will probably give it a go over the coming weekend.

Thanks for quick feedback but upon going through the code list again I see lot of apps including google ones like Well Being, Map, Lens etc
So not all are bloatwares/crappy apps right? But this is your exhaustive list of what all you don't use and have removed.
For me, who wants the crappware removed, especially Evenwell - should just used the ones having evenwell in text right?
EDIT: Also with evenwell names, worried that removing say eg. com.evenwell.fmradio will take away FM Radio right?

Most of the removed things you can reinstall from the Google Play, yeah it will remove the FM Radio, in last 5 years I haven't used it once and I never heard anyone using it. If you want to keep the FM Radio just remove the line, even if you forget to remove that line there is a command to reinstall all those removed apps

I just had a factory reset after try uninstall te apps on this list.
This list is more like: "CAN you uninstall list" then "COULD you uninstall list".
Sorry but I recommend NOBODY to uninstall apps based on this list. Its very unsafe.
For exemple: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.android.mms.service is the sms service. If you uninstall it you wont be able to receive sms unless you install another sms service.

Trying to prevent this, I went and revised every module on the list, so I don't mess with any modules that have stability functions or important functions to the OS.
I made a list of what modules I will remove and what others I would keep, based on my own personal Threat Modules and "bloatware" apps that I actually use and would prefer not for them to be removed.
The ones Highlighted in Green are the ones I will remove, the ones Highlighted in Yellow are the ones I would advise checking before deciding to remove them; Also trying to prevent what happened to Leonardo, having a Samsung A30 I have decided to not remove any of the MIUI Bloatware or Xiaomi related stuff.
I've attached on my document references of how I have come to the conclusion of what modules do what based on a Google search for the module service name.

Greetings, after 4 months of hassling around trying to get my phone to transfer data via USB cable (Fix was installing some drivers using Snappy Drivers, I think (?); Local Tech shop fixed it for me.)) I was finally able to went ahead and try to the BLOATWARE REMOVAL, here are my findings for anyone that is going to try this.
1) Author of the post doesn't indicate that for the commands, you have to write "abd shell" first. (Eg: Inputing: "pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.samsung.android.bixby.agent.dummy" won't work, you have to input "adb shell pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.samsung.android.bixby.agent.dummy".)
2) The tool given on Jul 16 by João (https://github.com/jxtxpx7/boosteradbshell/blob/main/BloatwareseV2(English).bat) does in fact work. However, I recommend to manually change the file from .bat to .txt and change the services that are being removed in case any of the services listed there are actually useful for you. I went ahead and did my own list forking Joao tool to input my own commands shown in my previous comment on the thread.
That's pretty much it, overall a great project for the XDA community from Joao. Really appreciate it. I'll leave my modified .bat file here if anyone wants it (Again, I recommend you open in .txt and check for your own the services you want to delete.)

General Stock ROM (Canadian SM-A326W)

Hey guys,
Here is the stock rom (Canadian version) and the tools you need to flash it to your phone in download mode. This is just incase you brick your phone, it can recover your device even if you cannot factory reset. Here is the link to the rom and the tool you'll need (Odin). You will need to be on Windows for Odin but VM's will work (virtual machines). Keep in mind you take the blame for anything you might be doing and can't sue me if you bust your phone ! This does not void your warranty though, as it is factory and will not unlock or root your phone!
It has only been tested on my SM-A326W the Samsung A32 5G that was made for it (Canadian phone), but it is working perfectly. I have not yet confirmed if this works with other models (such as T-Mobile USA's SM-A326U) and would appreciate someone testing it for me.
I can confirm it is all clean (to the best power of my abilities), as I have Cylance Smart AV and Microsoft Windows Defender installed and scanning and they found nothing. I have used the exact version of the tool linked and installed this rom and it is what I'm currently using (free of viruses and all that).
You will need developer options (hit build version repeatedly in About Phone -> Software Information until it enables this) and USB debugging (in the developer options) on to be able to do this properly. I recommend leaving your main PC allowed forever, so that you don't have any issues with it (don't worry, as it will only allow USB debugging on that computer).
To get into download mode (flashing mode) turn your phone off while it's plugged into your computer with the Odin software on it that has USB debugging forever. Press and hold volume up, volume down, and power on. Keep holding the buttons until an image like this appears:

It will ask you if you would like to continue, press volume up to do so. This will get you into flashing mode.
Now that you're in flashing mode, open up Odin (with administrator privileges).
You should see something like this confirming the device is available:
Click BL, AP, CP, CSC, and select the file that starts with each of those symbols. You can only do it one at at a time and it will take time (especially for AP since it's big) for each of them to load up. It will say "Please wait.." on the left side in the log as you can see, and .."finished Sucessfully.." when done.
Look at the red underlining and this should explain it:
Now go to options on the left, and turn off Auto-reboot.
Press start to begin flashing! It will show up on the phone with the install progress bar, as well as on odin where it says ID:COM (first Odin image).
Once it's done (DOUBLE CONFIRM SO YOU DO NOT BRICK YOUR PHONE, it should say on both Odin and your device), boot it up (hold volume down and power to shut it off and restart your phone)!
Feel free to enable developer options, USB debugging, and debloat your phone. I have tested out this debloating list on this ROM from this thread and it's working just fine. It will take off all the crap on your phone from Samsung. Be sure to download another launcher first (I use Nova Launcher) and hit the home button and set it as your default always because OneUI will be removed. Keep in mind before doing this that pretty much all Samsung apps and functionality will be removed! The phone will run perfectly fine with Google apps etc. and will still have Google Play Store.
You will need these platform tools working on your computer:
Once you have them installed, plug in your developer options enabled USB debugging enabled phone and type in "adb devices" in the platform-tools folder on cmd or terminal.
This should pop up something on your phone which you will need to allow (USB debugging access for your computer).
Now type in "adb shell" in your platform-tools folder's cmd or terminal, it should display a $ somewhere meaning you now have a shell into your phone:
If you've never done this before, it's full access to your phone like a linux terminal! Feel free to type in "ls" (will list the current directory) or 'cd "directory" ' (change directory to the quotes directory). Type in "cd .." to go back to the parent directory. There are loads of commands you can do, and you can find them here!
Now remove any before copying it into the adb shell from the list below that you want to keep, and then just copy and paste the whole list into the adb shell, and hit enter if necessary. It should run all of them.

The debloating list you posted breaks many things so I'd be careful running it since apps reinstallation is possible with adb (termux or terminal emulator won't work) so a PC is needed

It has only been tested on my SM-A326W the Samsung A32 5G that was made for it (Canadian phone), but it is working perfectly. I have not yet confirmed if this works with other models (such as T-Mobile USA's SM-A326U) and would appreciate someone testing it for me.
I can confirm it is all clean (to the best power of my abilities), as I have Cylance Smart AV and Microsoft Windows Defender installed and scanning and they found nothing. I have used the exact version of the tool linked and installed this rom and it is what I'm currently using (free of viruses and all that).
You will need developer options (hit build version repeatedly in About Phone -> Software Information until it enables this) and USB debugging (in the developer options) on to be able to do this properly. I recommend leaving your main PC allowed forever, so that you don't have any issues with it (don't worry, as it will only allow USB debugging on that computer).
To get into download mode (flashing mode) turn your phone off while it's plugged into your computer with the Odin software on it that has USB debugging forever. Press and hold volume up, volume down, and power on. Keep holding the buttons until an image like this appears:

It will ask you if you would like to continue, press volume up to do so. This will get you into flashing mode.
Now that you're in flashing mode, open up Odin (with administrator privileges).
You should see something like this confirming the device is available:

Click BL, AP, CP, CSC, and select the file that starts with each of those symbols. You can only do it one at at a time and it will take time (especially for AP since it's big) for each of them to load up. It will say "Please wait.." on the left side in the log as you can see, and .."finished Sucessfully.." when done.

Now go to options on the left, and turn off Auto-reboot.

Press start to begin flashing! It will show up on the phone with the install progress bar, as well as on odin where it says ID:COM (first Odin image).
Once it's done (DOUBLE CONFIRM SO YOU DO NOT BRICK YOUR PHONE, it should say on both Odin and your device), boot it up (hold volume down and power to shut it off and restart your phone)!
Feel free to enable developer options, USB debugging, and debloat your phone. I have tested out this debloating list on this ROM from this thread and it's working just fine. It will take off all the crap on your phone from Samsung. Be sure to download another launcher first (I use Nova Launcher) and hit the home button and set it as your default always because OneUI will be removed. Keep in mind before doing this that pretty much all Samsung apps and functionality will be removed! The phone will run perfectly fine with Google apps etc. and will still have Google Play Store.
You will need these platform tools working on your computer:
Once you have them installed, plug in your developer options enabled USB debugging enabled phone and type in "adb devices" in the platform-tools folder on cmd or terminal.
This should pop up something on your phone which you will need to allow (USB debugging access for your computer).
Now type in "adb shell" in your platform-tools folder's cmd or terminal, it should display a $ somewhere meaning you now have a shell into your phone:

If you've never done this before, it's full access to your phone like a linux terminal! Feel free to type in "ls" (will list the current directory) or 'cd "directory" ' (change directory to the quotes directory). Type in "cd .." to go back to the parent directory. There are loads of commands you can do, and you can find them here!
Now remove any before copying it into the adb shell from the list below that you want to keep, and then just copy and paste the whole list into the adb shell, and hit enter if necessary. It should run all of them.
