Before all: this is NOT my ROM and I am NOT a maintainer for the moment. This is just a semi-ROM port for jasmine (Mi A2) using Mi 6x ROM! So to have this ROM, you need to convert your device from Mi A2 to Mi 6x! (tutorial below)
AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customizations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry-picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag-free experience out of the box. I tried to install gcam in different ways by reflashing the AOSP but "Camera has stopped"
- no openGapps, camera come with rom work
- Pico
- Stock, gcam 2.7 come with openGapps work
But Open camera work well at all.

I don't know it default activated by the rom or not.
I use enabler in magisk, still don't work.
Try to activate camera2api from fastboot then wipe cache and try again.

Please do a benchmark with Androbench and A1 SD Bench. Stock ROM has significant memory speed problems, I'm curious if installing custom ROM can fix this.

Great rom, but no 4K recording in open cam, gcam, or snap cam. Filmic pro can recogbize 4k but no eis like in other apps. Is there any fix for this? This problem occurs when camera2 api is enabled ( must for gcam )

I don't see it in the feature list (and it is in Nougat's feature list), but was MicroG support removed in the transition from Nougat to Oreo?
The MicroG patches (at least for signature spoofing; dunno about location provider patch) work fine in Oreo. It could be added back.

Was wondering the same thing. I did clean flash, with Gapps. On N I've been on MicroG for a few months, probably going this way on O too, because you can feel the performance fall with Gapps..
So MicroG is working? I mean, signature spoofing is supported?

I haven't tried this ROM, but if it doesn't have it built-in you can patch it yourself (with Nanomod's flashable patcher zip, for example).

OMG 3 months lol thats too long. This device can rum every rom , the problem is making the code changes ( it can be a pain specially pure aosp ). Im testing google´s aosp but at this moment play store , gallery , and answering calls are fc/not responding , i have it almost finished , i wont say ETA but it´ll be available soon for you all. I want to thank the big work of the rest of devs without their contributions and work this would not have been possible . Thanks too to the users , their feedback and understanding that building a rom has its tricks and some times one fix makes another bug . Btw sorry for the waiting haha i did not know you were waiting , because almost everyone or uses MIUI or PsyMan´s PixelExperience.

One tip : Use Google Camera ported for SD820/1 . The stock Camera2 Sucks ass hell lol. Or if you want you can install it along with Camera2.

Decided to give this ROM a try as suggested in the OP without any flashing of root. Simple Wipe, then ROM flash, followed by GAPPS. After boot, I received the following Encryption Error Message:

While playing game I could see the difference. It hangs a little bit. Is there anything to speed or overclock my gpu to improve performance? I flashed twistloop kernel, I could see a small improvement in performance but still gaming too slow

No such issue ...maybe clean flash is ur way ...m using this rom as daily driver

The WiFi just disconnects very often and then doesn't connect until I toggle it again. Clean flashed rom with stock gapps. Everything else is working perfectly.

Also, when the c2API is enabled from extra settings, i am unable to use front cam on instagram and whatsapp(important for video calls). When turned off, I am able to use the front cam on the apps. Any workaround or fix for this?

My Step is;
1. Fastboot boot twrp.img
2. Wipe All
3. Install ROM
4. Change Slot
5. Reboot.
I cannot make it work. Please help!

->Rom is based on AOSP. Verison is updated monthly.
-Why no "Incremental/Delta updates" Support?
->Actually the updates we provide monthly are heavily changed and modified than the previous builds. New stuff is merged and added. So we don't provide incremental updates and recommend a clean flash.
-Does this ROM Support Substratum?
->Google killed Substratum support in Pie. You can use it, however, you need to be rooted. We don't support rootless Substratum.
-Which Gapps are recommended?
->OpenGapps
-How do I root this ROM?
->We recommend Magisk
-Will this ROM relock the bootloader?
->No.
-What about XPOSED?
->XPOSED is still in beta stage. We like Xposed but it messes up with the system so before giving any bug reports make sure you have Xposed uninstalled.
-When Will Be the Next Update?
->No ETAs, please. ROM Will be updated whenever the new build is ready by your maintainer. We generally provide monthly updates with latest security patches and new features.
-I am facing FCs, Bugs, Some feature is broken?
->Provide full info about your problem with logcat and the procedure to reproduce it.

I can't find the settings to change the alert slider or to swap home/back button order...?
Looks like button settings are broken. If I search for "Button Backlight" there is an option, but when I tap, it doesn't show in the settings menu.

There is no options to change the alert slider settings, I will try to integrate that in next build, for swapping back and home button you can configure the button settings under settings-->extensions-->>system-->buttons

oh I've seen these reviews... decided to stay on skydrogon till I could ensure the unofficial aex stable enough and able to use fingerprint for pay...

I will stop pushing updates to the unofficial ROMs with less user base , as you can see I already posted a poll in viper and Dot os thread if they need updates or not . There is no point in keeping all ROMs updated if no one is using those .
