I've had good luck with Choetech ones. Best one I have is a Samsung, but not cheap.

Fast wireless charging?

Hello. I recently bought S6. Fast charging works awesome. If I buy that:
http://www.amazon.com/Anker-Wireless-PowerPort-Qi-Enabled-Packaging/dp/B00Y839YMU
Will be same fast if I connect my fast charger to it?
Don't think so. USB charging is only a trickle so won't give you the same speeds.
Don't think so too - wireless charging won't work as fast as quick AC charger. No niestety, będzie wolniej, ale za to bezprzewodowo

You can't go wrong with Anker for quality: http://stores.ebay.com/AnkerDirect
I love my Aukey 16000mAh with Quick Charging. It also ships to Australia from AliExpress.

Plus one for anker
I just bought the Anker PowerCore 10400. It charges my s6 from 5% to 100% slightly more than 3 times.
It does not have fast charging (9V @ 1.67Amps) but it charges my s6 really quick (around the same time as when i charge it from the wall adapter) . Overall I am very satisfied with this power bank. Go for it!
Hi, Xiaomi 10000mha Power Bank have fast charging and is very good, buy from gearbest there http://www.gearbest.com/mobile-power-bank/pp_187685.html?wid=21

Could you tell me about the speed it charges the Samsung S6?

Thanks in advance!

no buts seem like 2h and some minutes charging at 0%
All of my friends are using Ankers. They're all pleased with the result. I was not so much in need for more than 3000mah so I went with a power case. You can also consider that option

QI Wireless Receivers any good?

Has anyone tried using any of the QI Wireless receivers with the Mate 9?
Like this one:
Type C Wireless Charging Receiver, CHOETECH Ultra Thin USB-C Qi Wireless Charger Receiver for Nexus 5X, LG G5, LG V20, HTC 10, etc https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01N24GGP5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_taa_SRkgzbMTEWBVK
The Maximum charging current is only 1Amp...so they could be quite slow I guess?
Pretty sure mate 9 won't support qi,metal phone an all

You're quite right. Mate 9 doesn't support Qi charging naively but you can buy Qi receivers that plug into the USB connector and fit between your case and the phone.
Here's a video;

I use a qi receiver and don't have problems.
You need to make sure to get a thick one. Thin ones don't work well with Mate 9. Your experience will mostly depend on the quality of the receiver.
i have one long time ago, it's very slow. but now maybe getting faster.

I've tried a Choetech one and it doesn't charge at all no matter how much I manoeuvre the pad with the transmitter.
Could you share info on the one you have please?
Thanks.

Yes, this is my fear as when you install one you give up the cabled charge option as you end up blocking the charging port with the receiver plug.

10W EPP approved wireless puck charger

Outside of the Google dock, I have tried a few "10W" wireless chargers that only deliver slow charging. Looking to see if people can suggest true fast charge wireless pucks. Specifically at a Best Buy or local to purchase.

It's up to 11w fast wireless charging. 10w is still considered fast wireless charging too.

Ah OK, that's my mistake. Good to know, thanks.
Yeah, the dock I bought said it does 10w, but doesn't with our phones. Looking to see if someone else had luck finding one that did the full 10 or 11w wireless charge.

How did you measure it? Just curious, I bought cheaper Lenovo desk puck that says it provides 1.1 A from 9 V chargers, and it seems to be pretty fast, but I have no idea what is actually being put out, and would like to know

It doesn't state EPP in the description - wouldn't that mean that this wont fast charge?

I had the same concern.
I found an entry in the Wireless Power Consortium Database indicating that it does support EPP
See here;

I received the Anker wireless charging pad and power supply today.
Wireless fast charging works well.
I've attached a couple pics;
1 - The charging pad, powered up, but idling (no phone sitting on the charging pad). I've got a Satechi USB-C power monitor plugged inline. So, here you can see it's powered with 9V @ 20ma (thus, 0.18W)
2 - The Pixel 4 XL sitting atop the charging pad. Soon after setting the phone on the charging pad, the phone, pad, and power supply work out that the pad should be powered with 12v. So the power supply switches from 9V to 12V. Again, looking at the Satechi USB-C power monitor, the pad is drawing 1.2A @ 12V (thus, 14.4W). I've got the AccuBattery app running on the phone, and it shows the battery charge current at near 2A. That's "fast" charging!!! When I set the phone on the charging pad it was at 65%. A little over an hour later it was charged to 100%.
Net-net... this is a good combo. Maybe a little spendy, but they work.
WOW... to double your wireless charging speed you need to spend 3-4x the $$... 5w you can pick up for $10+... 10w will run you $50+ smh
I'm currently using a magnetic phone mount in my vehicle with my Pixel 2. Has anyone had trouble using wireless charging along with either a magnetic case or with a metal disk inserted in the case to work on the phone mount?
Trying to figure potential gotcha's when I upgrade to a new phone which will probably be the 4XL.

Wow. Appreciate the detail. I am a little surprised that it seems most companies separate the puck from the AC adapter. Dont know why they can make it as one product.
For those that care. I found this cheap one on Amazon for $16.99 CAD. You need to have a qc2.0/3.0 adapter for it but I'm getting fast charging speeds on it.. Charges at 10W. Not quite the 11W that pixel can handle but I'll take it for the price.

Does the screen actually say rapid charging or does it just say wireless charging? I purchased a Vebach charging pad with the 3.0 charging adapter and it still says just wireless charging.
