Notification about apps that used battery in background - Honor 8 Questions & Answers

I'm keep getting notification about Nod32 using battery in background even after setting off this notification in the app's setting. What should I do? Its quite annoying that this notification cannot be deleted.
FRD-L09 8.0.0521(C432)

You go to the Apps settings, click on show system processes and click on Android System. Then go to notifications in that menu and find apps using battery or whatever it's called. There you can disable it.

Did you try clicking on the notification?
I have the same notification for weather app using battery which I can't delete by swiping left or right, but when I click on it, it disappears.

When I click on it the settings comes up which you see if you go to settings>apps>nod32. There is the option about battery usage but I already disabled the notification about battery usage.

Slow notifcations during sleep ?

It seem push notification does not work well with Mate 7... for instance... whatsapp web.. in order for it to read messages at all I need to push the power button constantly to wake it up from sleep..

I don't know if this has been solved but their is a option on mate 7 which allows you to toggle between notification push and how you handle it when screen is off.
Go into protected apps and enable it and make sure notification manager is set to allow.
i dont see notification manager in protected app.
it's in settings.
Under "privacy & security" you'll see Notification manager and Protected Apps.
From main settings i have only security option no privacy&security.Mine mate 7 is 09-european version.
I'd suggest taking a look at your settings again.
Under "Privacy & Security" section you have:
- Location Access
- Do not disturb
- Notification Manager
- Protected Apps
- Security
- Fingerprint ID
- Backup & Reset
Yes i was in restricted and notification options but there is no option to set notification manager to allow, notify or restrict options.Notification manager is not on the list of apps for which you can set this 3 options or notification manager is with some other name in the main list.

Oreo - Android System Notification - Lastpass is running in the background.

Since Oreo I have this notification "Android System Notification - Lastpass is running in the background.!"
All I can do is snooze it for up to 2 hours, clicking the notification takes me to the app settings and everything is ok and it is ticked to allow running in the background.
How can I stop this from appearing?
I don't find anyway to stop this notification every 2 hours.
You can use below app until we get 8.1, where this notification can be finally disabled in notification channels settings for Android System app (switch is greyed out in 8.0).

Great, I'll give it a go.
Thanks

It does it with a bunch of other system notifications. For example the VPN notification bar (system notification, not the app) is also persistent, apart from the snooze.
That app seems oddly specific btw. Can't try it out right now but I assume it won't work for other system notifications?
Edit: had a better look at the pictures and it seems the VPN thing might be snoozable through that app after all.

Question AOD notifications

Sorry, me again!
I'm working on the notifications, and how to get them coming through, I'm on MIUI 14 now. I've got the always on display set to 'on' and to show notifications. But they don't seem to be showing for some reason.

Probably not very useful for your case but on MIUI13 I have no problems with AOD notifications. everything appears there.
Have you enabled all the apps in Settings>Notifications and Control Centre>Lock Screen ?
I think they are connected with the AOD ones...

I popped out for a bit this morning, and Strangly, I had a missed call, and text notification waiting for me. Seems to take a bit of getting used to the notifications on this, some apps only notify when I open them, even if they're set to lock screen.

MIUI Battery optimizations...
You need to disable this for every app you need consistent notifications. Hold your finger on the app icon and then select App Info. Then scroll down until you see " Battery Saver" Change it to " No Restrictions" for all the apps you need. Also from that page, you can enable the Autostart option
