U can try and report back

Build up...will update changelog morning

Read their xda thread. Some xda thread clearly mentions u need 8.0 vendor or 8.1 vendor. Just read their threads and try various vendors if nothing is mentioned

Guys what does unofficial mean and what does official mean. Are unofficial builds dangerous and what about stability , safety

Both are same. Official follows release schedule, part of a team, specific features fixed. Unofficial follows maintainer rules... Thats it. From what u asked both are same... There could be some difference or many but the stuff that u asked about.. Thats same

Hardware Encryption in Known issues is confusing a lot of peoples.
it simply means that you cant encrypt your phone even if you want to. it wont automagically encrypt your phone. and you need to decrypted your phone if its already encrypted. You can check the status here : setting -> security -> Advanced -> Encryption

all official devices have a git repo at https://github.com/LineageOS so yes, these are the first steps to get that official process up and running.

This is already there in the GitHub for a very long time. U can see that the last commit is 1 month ago. I don't think it has anything to do with this thread's build.
I hope it stays stable and updated i don't give a f### for Official or Unofficial
Really, really nice that an official build may be in the horizon.
This makes a world's difference to anyone that wants to use microG instead of Google's proprietary gapps.
Many, many thanks!
There's work going on....... From what I'm seeing we'll soon get official support.

Technically yes, but it is recommended to do clean flash because we are not sure if both maintainers use the same trees.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

I'm in this ROM for almost 5 months now and whit my changes it's different from the original now, but I can tell you that it's pure LOS
Sent from my [device_name] using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Same as LineageOS 15.1, Anderson based on Official tree, not same as Lilblinx or Aryan, they based on Zeelog source.

Did you check my PM on xda? Anderson already know, i told him.
OP edited whit all relevant information
This could be good I've actually tried Anderson's build of LOS Pie before when there's multiple maintainers in one thread and I'll say that it's more stable than the others imo.
Anyone having issue with app banking? My app banking detect root, but i'm not using any mod.
Edited: ALREADY FIXED
