You'll never find browser and file manager in caf Roms.... Install it from play store... For root use magisk/Su

I just flashed this ROM in the morning and now I'm in love with it so stable, fast and beautiful... I really hope this ROM gets official and is regularly updated...thank you OP for posting such a wonderful ROM .

There is a small lag in camera when you use Retrica, snapchat, WhatsApp cam, Instagram, is it there in this?
Does the phone heat while charging?
Is there any problem for volte?

You get really good SOT , from 85% to 35%(LTE and GPS on throughout the entire time) I got almost 4hrs SOT, which is really good compared to other ROMs, the ROM is snappy and buttery smooth doesn't have much lag compared to other ROMs . don't know much bout stock cam but google cam works perfectly , the flash light bug remains but in turns on 7-8 times out of ten. Phone hasn't overheated yet. This is the best ROM yet for S2

Is there any other way to root except super su. Because whenever I try sim cards doesn't get detected. If there please send me a link

I'm using superSu and have no such issues whatsoever..maybe try to do a clean flash again? And also try Magisk if it still doesn't work

SIM Not working
HI , I have tested the rom and thanks for sharing . SIM and phone is not working and com.android.phone is crashing again and again . If i set device to airplane mode all other things including Wifi works fine

the rom works without any problems,..
in twrp full wipe with data wipe ,... http://xiaomitips.com/guide/how-to-root-mi-5-using-supersu/attachment/format-data-twrp/
then flash the rom, than pico gapps and then it works ,... i use it as a daily driver

Thanks nofx161, I have found the error , SIM I was using was Raoming SIM , local sim works perfectly fine for Data and Calls may be there is a bug in phone app related to roaming SIMs

volte works..ive been using for two days..dont like miui so this is the only option available till now..thankfully its fantastic rom though nougat, everything works as it should, magisk, kernel toolkit, gcam portrait mode all working

So far the update feels nice, everything is smooth and the battery life seems to have gotten a bit better. 55% battery left with ~4h of SOT(constant 80% brightness). BUT, for some reason, the AOD drains just as much as it did before and I can't help but think there is something wrong about it, it drains ~1%/30-45 min. I don't know if that's how it should be, but if you have any questions about the update, I'll answer them.

It looks decent now, the beauty effect seems to have been drastically reduced, BUT I think this happened a few updates before this one.

Mm m.... I'm on 131 and nothing happened since 107: same front camera very unusable..... So 150 I hoped was better....

Dont use anything above 16.4 on P20 Pro, the magiak hide is buggy

Small update after testing.
Instagram scrolling 10 times better.
Front camera, can even see my rinckes for the first time.
So far so good.
Volte I don't lose 4g (didn't before,hence I have 2 Sims,but no volte sign when calling (although I can no see the option to activate volte in the settings.

Auto-rotate will be lost if you wipe the persist partition.
You will need to install official Chinese stable firmware MIUI (zip for recovery through twrp).
Details (instruction from 4pda):
What you need to do if autorotate isn't working:
1) flash twrp in fastboot, reboot in twrp
2) TWRP:
wipe data/cache/system
flash Chinese stable MIUI zip. reboot в system
wait when MIUI loaded, reboot in twrp (maybe you will need to repeat step 1)
3) Wipe data/cache/system
3) Flash Mokee + gapps pico. Reboot in system
4) Profit

I guess so. Not sure about latest gcam version, lately I barely take photos, but mine is only buggy with night mode.
About Battery life, with new update it is very good, but probably with miui It's possible you can get a little more sot.
The remaining features, like BT, wifi...I didn't find any bug

Lineage os 8.x is stable without bugs , can use miui camera port(for portair mode dual camera) and fully working Google camera. If you dislike miui u can use it.
Ps there is no official 9.0 lineageos, for all phone is beta

There is official lineage is 16 (since March 3.3.2019) for first phones, Mi note 3 is on the list. Good rom

Doesn't change the fact. Theres this bug and he couldnt solve it. ( with sharp screens)
