As far as I'm aware there isn't any mode on stock camera app that lets you set it up to take a photo every XX second and keep on doing so until satisfied.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Would appreciate if you could recommend me an app that does exactly that.
And no extra effects on the photos no software enhancing or anything like that just good quality stock photos.
Thanks!

Yes but hyperlapse only records video no?
I want to take photos every x second and I don't believe hyperlapse or any stock function can do that..

I like stock camera, but my photo are not very good, maybe i havent never found right focus setting. Photo are good in center but border are too unfocus.. So im searching another good camera app.. And i found this in the web. Seem good and have more settings.
Amazing photos and very good video at 60 and 100 fps
More functions than stock camera as autoshoot and
Focus, hdr settings. Very good night photos without flash.

Could you actually produce a 60 fps video? I tried the trial but the [email protected] setup produced
only a 30 fps footage... :\

i record at [email protected] and play with MX Player and work very well, the frame are 30fps but video seem different.
I tested stuff on my desktop where I usually watch the [email protected] videos made
with my DSLR. I really hope it's not a hardware limitation.
maybe we must change too:
- Video bit rate over 17mbps (default) to 20 Mbps
- Video File format Mpeg4 or amr_nb / amr_wb
- Video Codec H263 / h264 / mpeg4
what your best setting??

Yes, maxed out bitrate, mp4 format, tried both h.264 and mp4 codecs.
Maybe it's the settings but I couldn't find any docs explaining what I
should do.

thats HDR.
HDR takes 1 dark pic and 1 bright pic and then combines the 2 pics to make 1 pic with good lighting
I understand that but can I setup application that after taking photo just leave one which is right
Which apps that take great panorama pictures would you recommend? It doesn't matter if I have to pay
The stock camera app takes low res panoramas, around 3 MP , the colors are washed out/weird , it's awful, just like the stock camera app itself, I mean, really google no 16:9 6 MP picture option? No 60 fps 1080p video? No burst mode? I could go on and on ...

What about spherical pictures?
The N5 cam does a bad job of stitching them together... Any suggestions?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I'm pretty sure the stock app is the only one that does photosphere. I know Focal had some sort of spherical photo but I don't know how well it works. Anyway, photosphere stitches it well for me. Have you tried holding the phone in one place and simply tilting it? It won't work if if you just wave your phone around everywhere.
noticed too the stock camera is terrible at panoramas... bad stitching and really low res...

So is it just me or does anyone else feel that photos taken with the S6's camera, lose quality when uploaded to Instagram?

From the gallery, but after a recent update I feel like it has gotten a bit better
Hello
I have Galaxy S6 920F 64GB with ISOCELL Sensor and I've noticed that there is a difference with the photos size at different external camera software like open camera or camera fv-5
for example:
in camera fv-5 with 100% photo quality in the settings and 16mpx I took a picture in the same position and light
and also with the stock camera I do the same with 16mpx and auto mode like fv-5
in fv-5 the size of the phone is 10mb and in stock camera on 5mb
can someone check with his own galaxy if he gets the same results?
maybe in the stock camera the camera is set to shot at lower photo quality percent like 90% or 95%
can it be?
please help
I've noticed the same thing using the stock camera and Camera FV-5. Photos with Camera FV-5 are a little more detailed than with stock camera too.

and do u have any idea why is that?
First of all, a photo more detailed is obviously bigger and that's the main reason. Then it's probably related to the compression algorithm of FV-5 that's maybe less aggressive. Between today and tomorrow I'll try Az-Camera.. I'll update you mate!

I just started using Google Photos.
It's not too bad once you get used to navigating around it.

I second this, I find the app works really well and always nice to have a photo backup as well.
Otherwise like said I use an non cheetah mobile version of quickpic, still works great along side google photos.

Focus is cool, but kinda clunky and slow.. Also don't prefer the UI so much. Piktures has now taken QuickPic's long held place. RIP.
