i was planning to buy a year used pixel so wanted to ask if it faces bootloop issue or should i go for it

So about four days ago, I wake up and naturally one of the first things I do when I wake up is check my phone for notifications right? And my phone wont turn on, so I plug it into the charger and leave it for a few hours. I come back to it, it still wont turn on. So I decided to take it to the store to have a replacement shipped to me. Since I'm elligible for an upgrade because I have T-Mobile JUMP, and can upgrade twice a year (and havent used any) i was considering when i have the replacement phone, swapping that in for something better.
I was really looking forward to upgrade to the M8, but since my M7 has been replaced twice, I'm having second thoughts about upgrading to its successor.
I was considering the Nexus 5 not because of the price, but because it's an all around great phone. BUT i recently seen that the Nexus 6 is soon to be released upon us I think it was October 31st? So I don't know what to do!
Do you think I should upgrade to the M8 and buy the Nexus 6 off contract when it comes out so I can switch between the two when I want? Or should I upgrade to the Nexus 5 and still buy the Nexus 6 when it comes out? Or another variation of one of the three phones above?
I only ask between these three because the M7 has spoiled me with boomsound speakers and maybe the problems with the M7 have been dealt with in the M8, (like the battery dying and the camera tint, etc.). But I have been dying to try a nexus phone! (even though I hear the speakers and camera are meh.)
What should I do!?
The new Moto X is coming out soon. That's the only phone you should consider. I'd say wait for the N6 but we don't have anything truly concrete about it yet, and it's still a few months out. Moto X, my friend.
See if you can score yourself a OnePlus One invite and get that phone $349 for 64GB unlocked.

I had a OnePlus One. Sold it after 2 days and bought another Nexus 5 instead. Wasn't my cup of tea. I like the N5 a TON more.
I'm sure this is a stupid question but I'm just basically typing it out so I can think it through.
I purchased a $300 64gb OPO for my dad for Father's Day but unknowingly, he purchased himself a new phone (oops). So I now have the OPO in my possession and my minor dilemma is....
1. Should I return it back to OnePlus unopened? With the initial and return shipping, it'll be about $30 total that I'll be losing out on.
2. Should I just go ahead and open it and use it? I'm sure it's a great phone except I actually originally wanted to wait for the OnePlus Two or the Nexus 5 2015 (I'm using a Nexus 4 now so clearly I'm patient).
3. Or should I use the OPO until one of my desired phones comes out and then re-sell the OPO? Will the price have plummeted by then (sorry, I don't keep up with the resale-phone-market)?
Just trying to lose the least amount of money while still having a "good" experience. I know, completely subjective. Any opinions?

I like LG G4 but there's that bootloop issue and it made me re-think my choice. I know the new ones don't tend to have this problem but still there's a possibility and I don't wanna risk $400 on a bricked phone.
Years Back I brought LG G4 unofficially, and after 10 days it bootlooped. Bucks wasted..
Now Want to buy used Google Pixel. My concern is if this has any issues like that or anything else.
Badly need your help, From user.
