There is no such recovery available any more..
you need to flash the stock firmware and it will be enabled by default..

I've just bought yuphoria 5010a.. and rooted by kingoroot.. checked root with root checker basic app and it's says successful.. i wanna install custom recovery and rom.. do i need to unlock bootloader? or i can install them without unlock the bootloader?

Any updates?

Do anyone know how to unlock yuphoria 5101A bootloader.its a request.i tried everything but failed everytime(oem unlocking not allowed)

You have to unlock bootloader for full access otherwise you can stuck in between or device may be brick.
Unlock bootloader using fastboot
Then flash twrp using fastboot

Just download the stock rom and extract it . you will get recovery. Img this is your stock recovery

Yes all 4 files . and now Im stuck in download mode its been 3 days now

Have u tried flashin mm or just n ?

Just flash an mm firmware when your device booted up enable OEM unlock and flash beta N again
Its 100% works
You can find android 6.0 firmware on sammobile.com

I was in marshmallow and then i flashed Andriod N and then it was a failed flash due the OEM lock or FRP enabled.

My device wont boot its completely dead tried everything possible just the download mode..and my S7 wont charge in download mode..what to do ?Please help T_T

Use sammys smartswitch. If your in download mode your fine. Or try odin back to stock.

Long as you know the Google account the phone was logged into, FRP will lock you out of the phone until you log back in with that account, but the ODIN flash will work

[Help] Unlock bootloader without to lock FRP

How can I unlock my bootloader without to lock FRP or to make enable OEM unlock to be gray after unlock bootloader because he make this last time when I unlocked bootloader and now I relocked him and it s working

3.1.1.0 is latest one my frn. It supports encryption now . Plz have a look . U may have downloaded a wrong version

TWRP error honor 8 l19

Hi. I have a problem when flashing TWRP on my honor 8 L19. I have unlocked bootloader the official way and Emui 5.0 Android 7.0. When trying to flash TWRP through ADB I get the error: Failed(Remote: Command not allowed) I have tried different TWRP files. I can't factory reset as the recovery needs an update to work properly. I wonder if you have some idea or solution for me? Is there any official software that I can flash? Or point me to some help sites?

That's what I always do. There is no problem with ADB only that it will not overwrite rescue partition.

Have to agree. it was greyed out. Have now done the rollback sucessfully and i oem unlocking i switchable. I have run the phone for some days and it working well on mashmallows. I will now proceed with twrp, backup, root and upgrade to nougat. . Shall i leave OEM unlocking enabled then?

I have now unlocked bootloader. OEM unlocked Active, marshmallows, twrp and root. Everything works smooth and perfect When i upgraded to nougat the phone returned to locked bootloader again and (i think) locked OEM. So i had to do the whole process again . Is there any way to upgrade to nougat without getting locked bootloader and OEM? Or is there any nougat Rom thats works?

we cannot stop the locking process while updating,you have to unlock again and root.

@Rommco05 is right. There is no way to turn it on or off because the OEM unlocking button is not solid anymore.

If you are on bootloader version 3 you cannot down grade from Oreo to Nougat.

Depends on your model variant
As long as you can unlock your bootloader/OEM then yes you can root your phone.

Yes you can root this phone.
Your issue with twrp is because your bootloader/OEM is locked preventing you from flashing.
OEM unlock is in developer menu section
Be aware that modifying your phone will trip your knox. So no more ota updates and Knox related apps/functions will not work again as well as voiding your warranty(depending on region).

If you are going to install twrp use latest version 3.2.3.2 ( If flashing through Odin you will need the extension .img.tar file )
From your model number you posted use the s8 twrp version not the s8+
