1)Download latest TWRP from the TWRP website.
2)Flash it through TWRP image flash.
3)(Assuming that your device is encrypted)
When booting into new TWRP you will be asked to enter a decryption password. Skip that and use the format option under wipe and type 'yes' to format. This will wipe your internal storage so you better make a backup of your internal somewhere. (Before all that make sure that you put the ROM file in your external SD)
3)(Assuming that your device is not encrypted)
Go to wipe -> advanced wipe and select system, data,dalvik,cache,vendor (make sure you see vendor. If not change your TWRP you can search XDA for the same)
4)Go to install select the ROM file swipe to wipe.
5)Install magisk (be sure to use 16.7+ preferably 17.1)
6)Reboot.
(Skipping installation of Gapps (arm 64 for android 9 nano or higher) because I think it is inbuilt in the ROM)

Please add button customization, device accent colors. Gcam lags or doesn't work in many of ur roms.. Please fix that.. Even the stock camera takes longer to open..

Device accent color is present under Display > Color theme.

You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:
3.) What to do if my SafetyNet is not passed ??
Update Magisk to latest beta version, tick Magisk Hide and enable usb debugging...

I have not detected any bugs, the only thing is the popup of the sim choice (even after having disabled the second sim), this happens when there is a loss of signal and when you hang up it always appears this annoying popup. Is not there a way to eliminate it?

I flashed the ROM and it was so good...but there was some lags in app animations...they were slow and i hope you can fix that...

I think everything, I'm using Omni right now but this should work too, only bug for me is sometimes a little lag in animations and the notification led not always working other than that, the rom is bugless.

try reflashing, restoring cust and or vendor.
also try using footej camera instead of the stock camera
Hey! So I've got a bit of a problem. I flashed the OmniRom for the first time and it booted fine. The SIM wasn't working so I flashed it again but now the phone gets stuck on Your device is booting now... I've tried all three roms from you (OmniRom, AOKP, LineageOS) but i'm still stuck on the same screen. Kindly reply with a fix.
FYI: I wiped all the storages beforehand exept MicroSD card. I dont know if its because of that. Right now theres only an Obb and TWRP folder in internal storage.

2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

It seems like Honor 6X rom has files of BLL too so if its working fine, these roms should work for BLL too...

Try some other Rom such as xenon HD and try flashing Aosip again..Think you forgot to remove fingerprint in your previous Roms that you used.

Hi, for the moment no gesture, gapps can cause crashes or error while flashing so I don' t know, I posted anyway the unofficial one for who wanna try... I don' t understand the point 1, can you explain me better pls?

The rom is notch enabled, so no nore icons out of the screen
successfully flashed in honor 6x everything working except camera.
rom stuck at boot animation after flashing so i have flashed stock emui 8 recovery then did factory reset now its working fine

Do a system resize and you can flash gapps, but for me it keeps booting forever i dont know why. However i tried with all recovery in this subforum but no one works for me

XDA is full of kangers nowadays that's why I'm asking cause I'm able to build and seeing no notch support on your rom made me think this was not a port.

i've made a debloater script which survives OTAs. you can easy customize it for your liking (and any other q rom)
just put the folder names of the APKs (see screenshot) in the 33-barebones.sh

Always recommendwd to use light weight gapps like pico or nano

I wanted to try out Omni, but couldnt get pass the "Installing updates" in the initial google setup, I tried it flash with nano package. The only possibility for me was to boot into system after flashing ROM and then going back to flash gapps afterwards, but couldnt called out my google back up.
