Hello Folks.
My PX5 Device with Android 8 Malaysk Mod had some troubles with the wifi yesterday. So i thought i wipe cache in the recovery and give it a fresh start. But it doesnt finished wiping the cache and now it only flash the screen with some messages. Even when i press and hold the Power Button to force a reboot it goes straight to recovery and does the same for ever. I made a Video that i will attach.
Does anyone have a clue to get out of recovery and back in Android?
Thanks in Advance
Michael

Solved it myself.

Hey Michael, how did you manage to reflash the recovery? I did exactly the same thing as you and tried to wipe the cache in recovery, didn't finish wiping the cache, reset but then got stuck in a boot loop with the exact same messages as yours.
PS I had already upgraded my PX5 from Android 6.0 to 8.0, but it mine was stock rather than Malaysk's ROM like yours.
Your help would be greatly appreciated!

could you please explain how you got into recovery mode. I tried the reset button but it comes back to the same message you showed in the picture.

Hi,
I have a GSM(Non-US) Xoom 3G, rooted. I downloaded an update OTA and it failed to install. I wiped the cache and downloaded it again. I renamed it to update.zip and tried to install it manually. And now, I keep getting rebooted into recovery. I tried to wipe the cache again but to no avail. I tried to restore from a backup but it doesn't help either. I'd hate to do a factory reset.
Is there anything else I can do before I succumb to a factory reset?
Quick replies are highly appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: I did a factory reset and it didn't work! Please help me! I can't boot up normally anymore. What should I do??? T_T

download a custom rom on your computer, enable usbms in recovery, transfer the rom from your computer onto your phone, flash the rom
So I've been running Graviton 2.0 on my Nexus 5 for a few months and recently I've tried upgrading to 2.6. Problem is, when I install the updated rom, I get the "Unfortunately, com.android.provision has stopped" error message loop times infinity. I tried installing 2.6 by booting into recovery mode and installing the zip using CWM. I then wiped the cache and the Dalvik. I've also tried doing a factory reset prior to the previously mentioned steps and that hasn't worked either. Any help would be much appreciated thank you.

If it we`re me, i would flash the factory image in fastboot, reroot and start over. Or do you have a working stored recovery to flash back to?

I've been able to recover back to Graviton 2.0 after each unsuccessful attempt through the restore function in CWM.

Why create a new thread?
Full wipe/factory reset, then flash the entire factory image set.
Look here if you don't know what to do:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...urce-guides-info-threads-linked-read-t2784527
I've done it more than 10 times the full wipe and still not working. Same with factory flashes...
Are you getting any errors when flashing stock with fastboot?

Are you trying to flash the lollipop or kitkat factory image?
Anyway, after flashing when you get the bootloop, go to fastboot and flash a custom recovery and then do a factory reset, cache and delvik cache wipe. This should do the trick.

i did all that you tell me. i do a factory reset, cache and dalvik but my N5 doesnt work. Continue in an infinity loop :/
I downloaded the image-hammerhead-lrx21o, radio-hammerhead-m8974a-2.0.50.2.21 and bootloader-hammerhead-hhz12d.
Any idea?
Try flashing a kitkat rom by the "Ncry" tool. Click the Restore menu button and select device and rom.
impossible
always stuck in and infinite bootloop... i think any component (hardware) isnt working well

Flash the whole image (radio, image, bootloader) in fastboot by typing in cmd: flash-all. This will wipe the device but will not cause problems.
i did it too bro, but nothing...
Here im posting a video i recorded for you... (i put a song from youtube to mute the sound of my room)

Looks like a hardware problem. Either Google RMA or LG Repair.
I bought it in Amazon
May i have rma if I bought on Amazon?
LG Chile doesnt has official repair...
So I had to buy another cell, a moto x 2014.. Bye nexus
it looks like hardware is at fault, can you relock the bootloader?, do that if so, i dont know if amazon do rma, contact them and find out,
strange if you get no issues while flashing,
I think so. I will check about invoce and RMA.
Thank all of you
A week ago, more less, I installed KatKiss-5.0_TF300T_014b.zip on my Asus tf300t and everything was ok until today. When I have turned it on this morning I have noticed that it was staying in a reboot loop.
After that, I tried to reinstall this rom again through TWRP 2.8.0.0 but the reboot was there again. Then I tried to flash CM 11 snapshot m12, but the reboot was earlier. And now i don't know what I should do.
More info: when I flash superSU and gapps, the screen says "E: Unable to mount data" . Perhaps I should do a format data to fix it. What do you think?
Thanks for your answers

I actually got the same problem with it when I flashed that. I did a factory reset from TWRP, then reflashed the ROM and Gapps to make the rebooting stop.
Format data??

The Format data within TWRP will delete all your apps and settings.
Now my tablet is ok after formatting data.
Hello,
Serveral days ago i was trying to factory reset my phone (installing newer cyan rom) but then this happen:
1. factory reset directly from the system
youtube.com/watch?v=tW5oVY5Dw7g
operation stops on twrp logo, after turning off and on phone starts normally (nothing is erased).
2. factory from twrp
youtube.com/watch?v=24lbiXqqOag
same situation, phone reboots and nothing is changed.
I have falcon-12.1-20151008-NIGHTLY version and TWRP 2.8.6.0.
Thank you for any help
I had the exact same issue - tried TWRP 2.8.6 and 2.8.7 but nothing worked - finally installed philz_touch_6.58.7-falcon Recovery and it has been working perfectly.
Thanks Dude, Philz Recovery did the job!
But after factory reset i noticed that Google applications are still present. As i undersand to get rid of gapps i need to format /system partition also, right?
