Spigen Liquid Crystal case - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Accessories

Really grippy feel to it. Has a textured kind of pattern on the back that you see a certain angle, but keeps the air bubble look from happening. Also a lot softer rubber that the Ultra Hybrid. Good cut outs , buttons are nice and clicky. This is my favorite clear case right now. So far no scratches after regular use.

wont this become yellow after some time? i always have this problem with clear cases

I have had better luck with Spigen, but they eventually get off colored . Takes a while tho.

I actually have the worst luck with Spigen, they always seem to yellow faster than anyone (of reputable brands) else's cases.

I can second this OPs thoughts. I love this. I ordered about 6 cases and this is the CLEAR winner (among clear cases, hah). Others are slick and feel like I'd drop them constantly. This one isn't. It's got a fantastic grip to it and looks great!
I'm waiting for the Neo Hybrid Yellow/Blue one by Spigen also. I think I'll be alternating between this one and that one.
Nice job, Spigen!

Unfortunately, Neo Hybrid is not grippy as this clear case.
I used it just one day and returned to Samsung clear case.

Diztronic vs Rearth Ringke Case?

Have Tried to find which case do people prefer - Between Rearth Ringke and Diztronic. The owners of both seem to love it, but dint find any comaring one with another - need help in deciding which one to buy( Both available on Amazon)
Those who've used/have Both - Please give the specific details of why/if you like one over the other.
And, Color choice - Grey vs Metallic Black?
Thanks
the Matte Navy Ringke Slim is awesome. Looks great on a N4.

Co-sign. The revised case is awesome, and fits super well. Cut outs are all perfect.

I have Skinomi skin protector on with Ringke. The top-left corner is a little too tight and it pushes the skin protector up a bit. Regardless, I still love the case a lot.
Anyone have any thoughts on Nillkin vs Ringke vs Diztronic?
Have 2 Ringkes and a black Diztronic, of the 3, the white Ringke is by far my favourite. The Diztronic is nice, too but I find it takes away from the visual clean lines of the Nexy where as the Ringkes are so minimal, you don't notice it. Will likely be selling the Dizt shortly.

Of the Ringkes, I have one black and one white. I pondered on the grey as well but did't want to buy too many. The white is simply stunning.
Ringke All the Way!!!
I have both and I'd have to say Ringke is the best of the two. I especially like it because of how clean it is, looking that is. Keeps the phone looking very sleek.
Also, Rearth Ringke has very good customer service. At least with me they have. I pre-ordered the original one, and it had the slight manufacturer defect. I just e-mailed them through amazon asking for a replacement, not a refund. They had the revised edition in my mailbox on December 12th, day after they started shipping. They didn't charge me a dime, and even told me to keep the defected one and how to 'bend' it to correct it. I only sent a single e-mail, and they honored their product. Don't really see that much for accessory providers, at least in my experience.
Edit:
I have an xoskin on my phone with this case, and it doesn't mess with the screen protector at all. The xoskin is actually the best screen protector I've bought so far. I doesn't even feel like it's there. Smooth glossy/glass like movement when swiping.

I vouch for this. Except I contacted them directly towards emails and no response (maybe they dont check those emails? .. not sure, but i got one from [email protected] but I eventually gave in and just called them and the lady was really nice) same case scenario over here. Got it replaced without question, received it Saturday.
Using the Black one here. Eco packaging very nice as well.

I usually always get a Diztronic cases for my devices, until I replace it with a Mercury Pearl Tpu, as they become available outta Korea.
This time since there wasn't any Diztronic yet, so I went for the Nillikin and I am very impressed.
I may still buy a Diztronic eventually if I don't like the Poetic Atmosphere or a Mercury Pearl doesn't come out soon.

Cut corners as....? The Slim Rearth case looks exactly the same on the S3. it's their newer model of their cases whereas GN had everything covered on the sides.
Definitely not junk, I prefer the new style over the old. But the old one provides more protection, the new one i like the material of it a lot more.

[Review] Poetic Borderline (Bumper) Case

Hey guys.
Received my Poetic bumper case today and I'm really enjoying it. Currently I have 3 cases, the official bumper case, the rearth ringke and the poetic borderline (aka bumper).
So far I really like this case, and in a TL;DR version, I think I'm going to use this case over the other two. The reason I like this case it that it shows off the unique Nexus 4 backplate while still offering some degree of protection. You'll see in the photos below that there is a small, yet noticeable raise on the sides of the case to prevent the phone from coming into contact with any flat object. I think I'll be choosing this case over the official bumper because this bumper case a slimmer profile and adds less bulk. My first impression with the official case is that it made the phone harder to hold (for me personally).
The covers for the buttons work well and I enjoy the feel of the case overall. The price I got this for (right around $6) and the quality make this case feel like a total steal.
Amazon Link: http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Border...&sr=1-1&keywords=poetic+bumper+google+nexus+4
Take a look at the pictures and let me know if you have question. Hope this helps, cheers.
Come on man! We already have an entire thread dedicated to this case... With a bunch of pictures. No need to create a new thread. lol
Thanks for the review bud. Mine should be coming in soon.
I'll add that to my collection
Thanks for your review. I ordered this case and it shipped, but I haven't received it yet. Now I can't wait! I have the official bumper too and I'm now glad I ordered this one too.

I just received mine yesterday, and today i realized it was uneven, it turns out there is a rip on the top left corner, i don't how it happened or what caused it, because i didn't drop it or anything. I contacted costumer service and waiting for a reply. But I really do like the look and feel of this case

The flash on my camera made the gray look lighter than it normally appears. I honestly don't mind it, and if you're in a financial position to be able to gamble $9 I would say try it out.

I already bought it, $9 isn't a problem. Just prefer the black/black color setup.
I've taken a look at numerous amounts of pictures. It looks good, just wish grey was black but we'll see how this turns out. Only because I want to show off the back
Got mine today. It really is very nice. I actually like it more than the official bumper. It's very nice, slimmer and doesn't have the double bezel like the official bumper. Also, it didn't lift up my best skins ever back protector or screen protector.

Just ordered my poetic bumper off ebay and now I'm looking to get a full body XO skin. Could anyone suggest either the regular XO cut or the case cut?
Does it make the phone less slippery? My other cases are not good for wireless charging
And in 2-4 weeks you'll all be signing a different tune when it starts peeling apart. It's a good case until then though. I had two that both starting falling apart so I got my money back and went with the official bumper.
That looks even bigger than Google's bumper. And I couldn't use one without some back protection. I love my Fosmon(?) TPU case.

Any transparent hard cases out there?

I just traded in my onyx black for blue coral. I currently have a ringke slim case. Hard black plastic. Id like something identical to this except clear?. A lot of the ones I see are soft tpu. Any recommendations on one would be nice. Thanks ahead of time.
The Caseology Skyfall is one that has a very stiff transparent back. But I found that as the back of the Note 7 is not totally evenly flat, the Caseology case, if removed a few times, does not lay totally against the back and you get this strange pattern showing, like ripple effect. I've now seen this in my Samsung OEM gel case as well. My Note 7 is black, perhaps this issue will not happen with other colours. Anyways, I will abandon using transparent and try to find a slim solid colour one. Shame that.
Yea I've had transparent cases on my s6 edge. They got stuff all in them and the case yellowed out. Maybe i could run front and rear screen protectors only. I just hate to hide the blue coral.color
Matchnine Hori model. I think I bought the last one in the U.S. Nice diamond clear pattern on the back.
I-Blason has a great hard clear case for the Note 7. I got it on Amazon for under $20.

I see how the kickstand makes it sit uneven. Otherwise I like it, it's thinner and lighter than the other Spigen case I have.
Nothing makes a new phone look dated like a crystal clear case.
Nothing looks quite as tacky either.
While they 'feel' hard they're still soft plastic and scratch easily. They yellow. They don't 'let the design show through', in my opinion. They just mask it differently.

These are available on eBay direct from Spigen for $16.99 and free shipping. All three colors are there. The only catch is that it is a "pre-order" and they give an expected deliver date between Mon. Oct. 31 and Fri. Nov. 4 as of now. Amazon and the Spigen website have them for $24.99 and not all color options on either. I don't exactly get it but I'm in for one.

I think that was made in Zero G on the ISS. Or made as One case to rule them all! ?
I got mine today. Got the blue one for my black Pixel coming tomorrow. The blue looks really nice. The case feels nice in the hand. Also the case makes it pretty much the same size as the 6P without a case. https://imgur.com/a/Tw8Nk
Ended up with the blue version easier to find the phone. Really wanted a clear case for my silver phone. However I want one that protects well but can not seem to find one totally clear. Would love to go naked with the phone but it costs too much not to give it full protection.
Got mine this morning. Nice case to be fair! The back is a nice soft touch material and the added bulk isn't too bad. It's a nice snug fit too which is reassuring. I imagine it is fairly impact resistant due to the outer plastic surround.
Still not sure if I will use this or the clear spigen tpu case which is a little less bulky and holds on to the prettiness of the phone, of course provides less protection than the neo hybrid too mind.
Thanks for pics, I just ordered one this am.

It's so so expensive, as nice as it looks...
$25 bucks for a case to protect your (minimum) $750 investment really isn't so so expensive. Just my opinion, but you are certainly entitled to your own.
Got mine in yesterday and I'm pretty happy with it overall. It looks great and feels like it should add a good bit of protection. It is just a touch bulky, but not too bad.
I also grabbed the Neo. I was hoping the bumper was aluminum but it's not....

Easily the best looking case of the seven I tried. But I really do wish they made the back more of a grippy feel, like it looks like it would be based on the texture pattern.
Overall, loving this case!
I got the black version of this case, Spigen cases are always a go.
Mine get's here tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing how well the buttons perform. Was a bit worried that the buttons my be as recessed as the ones on the Spigen case with the kickstand. I like the buttons to stick out a fair amount so that they're easily found. Also, I like the Blue Angels look of this case. The colors look great.
I'm rocking the black version on my midnight black. Really slick.
OH man... How good does this yellow and blue look?! Damn. I underestimated how much I would enjoy this case. The buttons perform as I was hoping they would, like on other Spigen cases. The color combo of this blue and yellow?
Very happy with this case. Fly Navy!

I'm surprised more companies don't do this. Matching the color to the case is a huge deal for me and is rarely easy to do unless you have a black phone. This match is nearly perfect! Probably 95% match!
I really like my OEM Samsung brand 'Rugged Cover' case for the Note 9 - underrated nice look and feel, solid protection and a kickstand which most cases do not have.
However, this Spigen in Ocean Blue is intriguing - has a nice blue yellow color combination and I like the fact that it seems to be a bit slimmer than my Samsung Rugged Cover. I was considering ordering one to try, but I'm seeing 4 separate reviews on Amazon about the Spigen's back being too slick / slippery to hold without worrying that it will drop.
What do people here feel about that? It is a real concern?

Haven't ordered this case yet but have used this Spigen case on my S9+ and yes the back is slippery. I find if you give it a washing with soap and warm water it gets a bit better. Over time I find it starts to lose it's newness and starts to feel better.
