Resurrection Remix+NanoDroid/MicoG - LG V20 Guides, News, & Discussion

Just a heads up, Resurrection Remix and NanoDroid/MicroG looks to have a compatable relationship. Been running this get together for a bout 2 weeks and its been damn smooth. Wondering if anybody else has gone Google-less with this method? Let's discuss.. What FOSS apps are the best? Which are some good Google alternatives.

Has anyone found a solution for any voice apps? An alternative to Google now.. Tried Saiy but it requires Google to operate.

I searched and tried some apps but nearly all recuire google or, do not work corectly (ooking at you cortana).
I'm running my Zenfone 3 with microg only, i did run my note 4 for the short time i owned it with microg only and i plan to use my LG V20 with microg only; like all my other devices with Remix Resurrection of course.
(I run the Zenfone 3 Googleless for about a year now)
Edit: I now as stated run my V20 with the Remix Resurrection ss version without Google.
Which camera do you use.

Do you use the ss version of RR.

Just replying to say thank you and for my own future reference. I have been using this combination nicely for several months, and had a hard time finding this helpful thread again.

Hi, no, as of now, you don't need 5.0.x. And I don't know, try using cwm or twrp.

Not that I am aware of. There may be random reboots, but I have tried it, and it only really randomly reboots either once a week or once every two weeks.

caqn you tell me if L Camera from PKMX works? to be specific, if it supports the new camera2 api, cuase thats something only N5 and N6 do at the moment. i know this probably needs driver related solution per device, but it would be great if you could check if you can shoot raw with l camera or camera fv5.. Thanks mate.
I'll take a look at it.

Very nice, but the app alone can't be installed without flashing the zip(corrupted package). However pushed to the system and everything is alright.
@daleski75 you might be interested in this for your black version of pixelfy But I don't know it teamblackout will give permission for using it, but you can ask them.(and I think I can fix the app to make it installable)

Android MM for Pixel Sailfish ?

Hello guys,
Simple question, could someone tell me if there exists somewhere a rom in MM for Google Pixel to be able to downgrade my device?
Or maybe it wouldn't be very complicated to port a Nexus 6P rom to the Google Pixel? Any tutorial?
Thanks
Seeing as the device shipped with Android N, not a chance. I could be wrong, but I certainly havent seen it anywhere.

I haven't seen it here either, but it must be feasible even if the Pixel is released under Android N no? Nexus / Pixel smartphones are close to AOSP it should be simpler than with any other device

If you want a device with an older OS stay away from Nexus/pixel
And then worry about apps that no longer work, not a huge list yet, security, etc

No, there is a topic for Xposed MM or news about Xposed N. 0 topic about an MM rom for Pixel or about a tutorial for porting rom on our device.
I specified that I wanted a rom MM for Xposed, but I didn't ask about it so please be calm.

[APP][ALPHA][14/03/18][r3] Mido Manager[Closed]

A message to the mods firstly-
Please leave this thread in the Snapdragon development section only, since it's main purpose is to provide latest details of the development in this forum.
Mido ManagerA custom rom and mod manager app, tailored only for Redmi Note 4 (mido).
Features
- Server sided Rom list. (Rom list is updated, whenever a new rom is out)
- Cached data. (No Internet? No problem. Rom data is saved so you can use the app, without internet connection also)
- Installer (Simple solution to flash zips, and do other stuff)
Screenshots-

Alpha Revision 1uses a lot of bandwidth
Alpha Revision 2gave io error
Alpha Revision 3
Announcement(s)
Nougat Rom's would take a week to arrive in app. Right now i am working on to fix the scripter. Till then please report any errors. Thanks
Alpha Revision 1 has the installer working. (Third party apps like es or any other file manager is recommended to pick files, since in built android file manager never really gives correct file path)
Alpha Revision 2 uses a lot less bandwidth, since the list now refreshes only when the app is reloaded
Alpha Revision 3 - fixed bug showing io exceptionClosed
F.A.Q
# I am unable to re arrange the items in installer which i just added.
Ans - Hit back to close the activity. Now from main menu launch installer again. This time you will be able to re arrange them.
This project is closed as of now. Since i am unable to find time for it. Because of my school and studies. However if you would like to resurrect and manage it. Pm me for the source code.

Anything between V10Q and V12Q, I am testing 10, 11 and 12 to see which yields best performance and battery.
V12 is now removed and I have taken the commits from V11 and V12 and made a new V11 build. Now we are testing between V10 and the new V11

Nevermind . On V12 and my phone won't load Netflix , Hulu, Tidal On the first try . I go in the logs and it tells me something about the touch wait times not being correct. I have force close or even restart my phone and let it sit to fully load everything on my phone so my apps will work. Never happened with any kernel besides this. Can give logcat but I use liveboot . Not experienced so idk if thats good enough to get a good logcat from. Flame BTW
