I have set an alternative launcher program, but unless you use the Huawei launcher you must set a pin. Is there a workaround to not have to use a pin code ?

Had the same problem.
I use Nova launcher. Get ur permission to be developer, then go into that afterwards then u can see a possibility there to shutt of the password and voila, its fixed [emoji3]

So you mean the bluetooth bug is STILL there?????
if i do not root and change the launcher, will it stick even when i connect to BT?
That was the bug on the Note 8, i am considering buying the Note 10 but if that bug is still there
i think i stick with my rooted Note 8...

Okay, so I'm guessing you can't use the TW Launcher in conjunction with Launcher Pro? Figured there might be a way to just change the command that is executed when you press the app drawer to the TW drawer.

Correct. Touch wiz launcher is a replacement home just like LP so its one or the other.

Same here, and now that they finally put out a custom image for the AOD. Is there a way someone can come up with a way to customize it? I'm not talking full fledged images but maybe some cool pattern designs.

Delete folder Preferences in Data/Overlays (this folder will recreated after reboot).

I always loved the ICS/KitKat TouchWiz, so I wanted to make a theme that will make our devices a lot more similar to an insanely upgraded Galaxy S4.
I made this theme for my devices (an S6E+ and an S7), but I'm pretty sure this will also work with other devices (you only have to choose the correct package according to your device screen).
A theme based on the "Lollipop" version (S5) is under development aswell!

Can you guys tell me if you can remove the stock launcher in this Update ? On 195 it gives error by ADB method... but on this one ??
That's the first thing I did after updating to 195. I use Apex and Pie control for nav. keys.

Since the 195, they remove the option to uninstall the Stock launcher. Everytime when we tried to uninstall, it gives error on the ADB Console... I just want to know if on this Update 196 is is possible to remove again the stock launcher by ABD method...
Sorry, that I don't know since I can't download the 196 update.
Also, as I've said... removing the stock launcher via ADB is the first thing I did right after updating to 195.

The 196 update I think only contains Gesture Nav tutorial.. nothing special or new.

I think its difficult in Chinese version, we have to live with it...
No way. All current adb methods don't work. Have to wait for someone to figure it out or get an international version. I use nova on mine but twin app don't work. It only works whilst using stock launcher.

Can you set default apps on Chinese AL00 version?
you can do a small trick as I do
download vivid N.G from google play store and use it as navigate gesture
set the bottom gesture to run your launcher. example: (swipe up > Nova Launcher)

Also tray erasing by adb the huawei launcher whike allready having installed nova, just make a backup of it if you wana go back, and you will lose swipe up for home, but then install and pay 2.5usd of an app called FNG. It will bring back swipe up and lots of options.
I'm on the international model, no issues changing default apps
