[HELP] I want to recover my files from a locked S6 before factory reset

I have had my S6 for just one month and the fingerprint scanner has stopped recognizing my fingerprint. The device wont recognize my backup password or google account either. I am pretty sure my backup password is not incorrect and I know my google account information is correct as I still have access to it on my computer. I am able to use android device manager to call and send messages to the phone, but android device manager no longer has the unlock option. I have contacted google directly, but they were unable to provide any solutions. I have also contacted my service provider Sprint and Samsung with no success. I did not register with Samsung find my mobile prior to the incident. I don't have any of my files backed up to the cloud. I recognize that factory reset is the only option now, but I would like to create a backup or at least rescue some of my files before the reset.
I have wifi turned on, but USB debugging is turned off. When I connect to Samsung Kies or Smart Switch, I am prompted to unlock the device.
I have looked into using TWRP to recover files from the device, but I have read that the program no longer works with the S6 since the latest update.
Is there any way to pull files from the device while in recovery mode? Are there any other options available?
I am willing to compensate anyone who is able to help via PayPal

Go back to Android Device Manager and select Lock Device. It should allow you to set a new password to get into the phone.

This results in an error message that says the device is already locked and so a new password will not be set

Is it still asking for the backup password or is it just asking for the Google account?

It's asking for both. When I enter the backup password wrong five times, it then asks for my Google account

Have you changed your google account password recently?

Black screen: blind OTG keyboard guide?

My Mix 3 has a completely black screen after I dropped it... . I'd like to recover some data from it. If someone has some time to write a "blind" guide for an OTG keyboard to enable debug usb it would be nice. I lost a lot of whatsapp messages and stupid me I was so sure to have the backup enabled.... :crying:

Or can someone tell me how to unlock it with a keyboard if I'm using the pattern lock? Never noticed what you can do if you cannot use the pattern method.

Nope. Only solution was to repair the screen. Likely I paid about 130€ directly from Xiaomi official repair service.

Get the program 'scrcpy' off its GitHub, connect your phone to your PC with a USB cable, open a console in the scrcpy directory and connect to the phone with adb, then run scrcpy (from the console too). scrcpy will mirror the framebuffer to your PC and let you send inputs.
Of course, this only works if USB debugging is already turned on on the device.

The other option would be to boot into recovery and use ADB from there, this is fairly easy if you already have twrp installed. If your bootloader is unlocked, you can flash twrp and go from there.
By default iirc twrp won't mount the data partitions, so you will need to do that by issuing ADB shell commands, once done you can pull data out of whatever partition you want.

Pin locked

Hi im not new with flashing, been flashing my lg phone for awhile until it stop working.
Now that i had a realme 5 pro phone but unfortunately my kids messed with my phone and its been pin lock. I cant use my pin that i cam remember.so i went to the web and here for flashing steps of my phone.
But unfortunately, and my problem is the phone wont be recognized on my pc.
So im here asking help what to do.
So anybody please guide me how or point me to a link where i can repair my phone. Thanks.
Ps. If somebody knows where i can unlock the phone thru online that would be great. Thanks

Have you tried linux? Works great. But i had to use a usb 2.0 hub. If not, it wouldn't work.
On Debian i installed adb and fastboot.

You can use an Ubuntu Live CD, flash to a usb drive. Boot it up, connect to the internet, install those packages from the "app store". Then fastboot will work. Use a usb 2.0 hub. At least with me, connecting directly to the laptop wouldn' work.
From here, see the tutorials on this forum. I downgraded to 9.0, then flashed recovery and lineageos.

LEO-BX9 No USB Debug option ... Help?

#1- I have the LEO-BX9 and can not get it to connect to a computer via USB regardless what I try. The computer does not even acknowledge anything is connected when I plug in the charger with the watch. I have tested the charging cable and every connection is working fine (no broken wire or issues detected). I've tried on multiple computers with multiple OS and nothing.
#2- There is no option in Developer Options for "Debug by usb" it only has Debug by wifi or bluetooth.
I have been able to connect adb via wifi, and can send commands, but when i reboot into bootloader, it obviously loses wifi connectivity and I cant send any fastboot commands, and can not communicate at all with the watch. As such, I can not unlock or do anything.
I appreciate any help you can offer and thank you in advance for your awesomenes!

I guess my ultimate question is, How do I get a custom ROM on this watch without being able to connect while in stock bootload? Can I push a file over with ADB and use it somehow to install the custom ROM as a fake update or recovery. Can i unlock somehow. Anything? I beg help from you oh wise and kind xda'ers

Did that also... Still no option for USB debug and watch is not recognized by any device connected by usb.

IDK Q&A seems to be buggy for me. I wanted to ask a question but it always tells me i need to log in and when i try to log in it says im already logged in and so on...

I have MTP and USB debugging activated.
I downloaded the newest Huawei Suit and tryed Some Testpoint driver
I dont know, its charging but there isnt even the usb connected icon showing up in windows and under device manager isnt anything new either and adb dosent find it too.
what do i need to do to get my phone connected and find it with windows 10
