keep Android 7.0 to run Linux OS and security patch/bug fix - Samsung Galaxy S8+ Questions & Answers

Hi,
Which bug wasn't fix on android 7.0 or 7.1 on the S8 ? I guess i can avoid automatic update then choose which one I want, right ?
Cause if I stay on android 7, I could use the phone to run Linux OS flavor in a container (no more on Oreo due to security proc access).
Thanks for any input,
Xav

I found the last update on 7.0: G955FXXU1AQL5
Still debating the way linux OS and DEX could be use against Oreo impovements.

How to port libs to Android x86

Hi! Take a look at this situation: I have an Android x86 tablet (model Multilaser M7i Nb190) Intel, Android 4.4, but the internal emmc memory i'snt working anymore, but the rest of the device still 'works', Generic Android x86 boot up, even Ubuntu n' ZorinOS Lite, but I can go after setup screen because there's no touchscreen support for my device, I have the original rom, but the structure of the device rom and of the Android x86.iso seems to be different. How to port the device drivers (libs) to the Android x86 generic.iso rom? I have version of Android x86 4.4, its better to use it because it is the same version of the device rom (in general)? Thanks for any help. ... And why xda app still giving network error after trying to upload an image?!

Please could you let me know what files might need changing also any info relating to any tutorial which I can follow.
Kinda Starting from scratch (I have no android OS development experience, except for a few apk apps from Unity3D)
