I'm using Nova Launcher and when I lock my phone with the double tap gesture, it will ask for my password pattern when I try to unlock with my fingerprint. If I use the power button to lock, the fingerprint unlock works fine.
Unfortunately it is true and i test it from update and no way to fix it yet .so root requires to fix it on xpose or same other.now fast boot available for me on mm h960a v10 but no way to unlock or root.....

Hi, ever since bootloader unlock in my Zenfone 6 fingerprint crashes all apps that use it (like Settings or OneTimeInit). Currently running pure stock. If I relock it with asus-back it returns to life, however I'd like to keep this state after unlock too. After second lock I've removed all phone security in case something blocked fp reader from there but no luck. Any ideas?
Also, is there any way to unlock the bootloader n-th time without using that apk unlocker/without internet conenction? I know the relock command but things that unlock it like asus-go don't work.
Probably downgrading to pie and then upgrading to Q will fix it according to https://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone-6-2019/help/relocked-zenfone-6-lockscreen-t4033321
Oh, I will downgrade it to Pie allright. Just bricked my phone and messed up dm verity on locked bootloader. I prefer Samsungs to play with...
Edit: You were right. I've unlocked it on Pie and works great. I don't know why xda search couldn't find that thread for me. Thank you.
Hello guys.
I unlocked the bootloader but I can't update the Motorola One Vision anymore. Is there any way to reverse the bootloader? or can I update without reverting?
obs: I saw a tutorial to revert the bootloader with the stock rom and using a code to "restore" the OEM of the cell phone. Does anyone know if it works?
I'm a bit of a layman with that.
obs2: I'm sorry for the text it was translated by Google Translate.
If you just unlock by code provided from Motorola and just that , you simply lock bootloader from settings - developer option - lock OEM .
That's it . I've done myself some time ago . I received after , several OTA updates .
but I don't have TWRP installed on my phone, do I have to install it? because without it, from what I saw, I can't pull the OEM Deblocking arrow to the side.
After coming back to stock MIUI ROM my google play is displaying uncertified. I know it is because of the unlocked bootloader or at least that's what I think it is. Now is there any way for me to make my phone google play certified again?
This warning gets triggered and thrown when an unlocked bootloader, a rooted device, a flashed custom ROM, flashed custom packages such as Magisk, Xposed, and of course, installed Gapps on uncertified devices get detected by Google Play Services. Even as small as "enabling OEM unlock" on phone can trigger Google Play Services to throw an uncertified device error on Play Store.
What I'ld try do to fix it:
Disable OEM Unlock option from Developer Options if you have already enabled it.
If you have unlocked bootloader on your phone, then re-lock it.
Flash certified Gapps.

Yes, I'm right now on a custom ROM and it is certified. Now I want to go back to stock ROM and have it certified without locking bootloader (bypass it). Is there any way to bypass it and make google think and display it as a certified?

If you're flashing stock firmware, I think it'll mostly be certified. No need to re lock bootloader (that's what I think. Point me if iam wrong !!!)

I did flash Stock Firmware, ROM and it's displayed as uncertified MIUI Global Rom (Latest version) and the play store doesn't want to update itself at all. I can download google apps through play store but the play store just won't budge.
Had to flash stock MIUI and lock the bootloader. Now everything works fine as it did before.
Hi,
I have OP8 and issue with fingerprint sensor not working after locking the bootloader. Issue started when i unlocked bootloader, rooted device - installed magisk with magisk hide module.
After that my banking app stopped working (even tho i had magisk hide). I need my banking app more than root so i decided to lock bootloader and back to stock OOS.
Of course i didnt DD my fp perisist image so i have nothing to work with. After stock rom installation i am unable to configure FP. It gaves me errors everytime i want to set a FP.
When i unlock bootloader FP is working like a charm. But i have to lock it for banking app to work. And then circle of life continues.
Unlocked bootloader - FP works - Bank app dont work(or GPAY) - Locked BL - FP dont work - Bank app works.....
Is there a chance to make a phone "like it is out of the box" ? no root, locked bootloader, etc?
