Hello, stopping in to see if anyone has successfully connected a Amazon Tap to their HTC U11+ hotspot. I cannot see it in the hotspot list like I can two other drives that come up automatically. If you have connected it to an Amazon Alexa enabled product, Tap specifically, please let me know what you did to do so.
Thank you in advance for helping with this.

Hey guys,
I have just bought a few Wetek Play Android TV boxes.
Apart from a few other issues that I will not get into here, I have one very major problem. I have two of these devices in my home and the air mouse that comes with it (the remote control) controls both boxes at the same time. so they are not independant.
this means if I have a box in the lounge and a box in the bedroom, both of their remote controls control both boxes at the same time making it completely useless.
I have asked Wetek support for help on this but only to get a reply that they are aware of the issue but cant do anything about it yet. so suggested using my phone or a mouse and keyboard..
Well this kind of defeats the purpose of what I got these boxes for.
I just wanted to get a little info on how these things work, you guys are super switched on when it comes to all things tech so I am hoping to find something out.
How do these remotes work? is it a hardware or software thing that connects them to each other?
I did install CM12 hoping that it would somehow fix the problem but it still exists.
is there anyway of making it so these remotes are independant of each other and linked to just one box?
Thanks in advance

there is a solution but first you need to unsync the remotes, if you acomplish that them you are good to go, and resync one for each box, i do not know is how do you unsync them, to resync is box on standby and back + ok button till green light flash. if you get them unsync them remove power cord from 1 box and sync one at a time, after first is synced remove power cord from that one and sync the other, always have one without power that way the remote will not sync to both
I want to buy a USB 4G modem, to connect to my PX5 (I have a GS, with Malaysk ROM 4). Is it possible to share the internet connection from the unit. Reason why, is that I want to install AirPin Pro, so that my kids can connect to the unit via AirPlay on their iPhones, and play music.
Which carrier are you planning to use?
Hi, I want to buy also doesn't matter the carrier, any supported one. I want to know what device is recognized by PX5 is it an 3G or 4G? I'm from Romania and I can try on several networks. So if you know please give me some USB modem type to buy. Thanks
I bought one of these instead of a USB dongle and it's perfect. Added bonus that the car now has it's own WiFi for passengers' devices

Thanks that's really cool I think I will buy it also. Are you happy with it? No bad or software bugs / wifi drops ... Etc and how you can configure it. Do you have some settings what can be applied? Or insert a Sim card directly into the slot and everything is working? Thank for your answer.

When you start it up it is as simple as putting in a SIM card and then logging onto the WiFi using the network name and password printed on the dongle. Once you have joined the network you go the the configuration webpage, something like http://192.0.1.1 and setup your provider details for the sim you have put in. It was really easy. I changed the WiFi name and password to something more memorable for me. It does not stay on so will not drain your battery. It automatically powers off if nothing connects for two hours or if your socket powers off with the ignition. You have to press the button on it to switch it back on, it doesn’t switch on automatically when you turn on the ignition.
Not had any problems with it at all, worked perfectly ever since I fitted it

Hey everyone, can you test your screen mirroring feature on your phone and tell me if it works? I can't find many bug reports about it. For me it doesn't work.
My OnePlus 6 can presently cast the screen directly to my Roku stick and Roku TV without any issues.
I bought a 7 Pro (Oxygen OS 9.5.3 GM21AA) and enabled "wireless display" and this is what happens:
- I select Cast from the drop-down notification bar
- It searches forever without finding anything
- I click Settings
- It finally finds and shows me my available Roku device (or any TV that has screen mirroring)
- I select the one I want
- It says connecting
- instead of connecting, the list of eligible devices, including the one I am connecting to goes blank
- The list gets reset and nothing is connecting
Any attempt to try again, after I reset my phone, restarted my modem and my WiFi etc gives me the same situation.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I hate when older devices work great and newer ones don't. Both are running Android 9.
No? Just me? Lol
Hi, for me it works. Chromecast, shield tv, google home or integrated cast.
BUT, there is an issue with the resolution, my tv is 1080p, source too, but I have black margins around..
@cainman
1. You must have WIFI enable to be able to use Screen Mirroring.
2. Go to Cast setting and tap the 3dots and enable it.
Been Mirroring my device my device since day 1 without problems.
Hello Folks!
I am trying to connect my Essential Phone to my monitor using an HDMI hub but it doesn't show me a full image. This started happening when I disconnected my broken display module, because it was constantly ghost typing and I couldn't get anything done. My mouse is connected to the hub, and I'm able to see the cursor on the screen, and able to swipe down etc. But since the display is so limited, can't really do much else. Please kindly help! Many thanks in advance.
Just installed this unit amazon link
Now that everything is connected I have several problems
- play store won't download any apps
- dab+ app stuck on connecting
I am able to browse internet on it, so it doesn't have internet connection issues.
I didnt properly check the internet over bluetooth, but this should work with Bluetooth 5 right?
Anyone with any info on these issues, much appreciated.
--- update
for this car I changed the unit to a different one (better fit)
now tested this unit at home, play store works. Maps is bad because of the resolution (status bar is taking off a bit ofscreen) so have to change it so that bar goes away.

Update: seller tells me to press RST (no idea where that button is)
also told me to get the dab+ box, which I obviously have and mentioned in the message to them.
