Fix for any LE2X526 MIUI rom's Low Brighness issue.

Hi Guys,
Its a great news for those who want to install MIUI on their LE2X526. Until now, we have been facing low brightness issue with almost all the MIUI roms we had installed till date except one which was a little buggy when applying darker themes and recent apps.
But now, the latest release of AndroModX Kernel(V2) which had been developed by Rishabh Rao can solve this issue. I had installed MIUI Russian official version and along with it, installed AndroModX V2 kernel just to test it out. I had installed the same rom earlier but had uninstalled it due to low brightness issue which was too much strain on eyes and is totally non visible in daylight.
But with AndromodX Kernel, right after the first boot up, the screen was even brighter than EUI stock rom and every thing was working just fine. Even battery backup seems to have improved drastically. In the course of 1hour 30 minutes that I used MIUI Official Russian rom with AMX Kwernel, battery dropped just 5%.
I was at 79% when I started working on the rom with 4G network on and I put the screen on highest brightness level which was very very bright. Sync was on, download was on at full speed, music playing in the backgroud & I was browsing.
If any one like to use MIUI on their LE2X526, try it alongside AMX Kernel. Preferably use Russian Version of MIUI coz it does not have any chinese blotware. Or you can try the kernel with any other version of MIUI. Your choice.

(MIUI Installation might take some time as the script will show "Waiting for System: resource busy" for some time. But it will complete the flashing none the less.
Then install the Kernel.

Do we need to flash gapps. And VoLTE working? One more thing, is it smooth enough to use it as s daily driver!

It has gapps i cant test volte cuz my sim has no support to volte

Gapps is already installed in the ROM. And you are welcome. Just shared an info I came across, tested and succeeded.

Help i cant open setting suddenly

Yes its working and battery timing improved a lot too. Just to add, need to flash EUI-Andromax2 for the fix.

Buddy.. After clean flashing. It's booting into recovery every time rather than booting into system. What should i do?

Hi, I have flashed the Russian ROM n eui amx2. It works, brightness solved but phone softboot frequently n sometimes network goes off suddenly.
Is there any solution for this?

Wipe cache, device, data & system. Then flash MIUI first. After that, immediately flash and kernel. Then go to wipe and factory reset. Then reboot to system.

I had not faced that issue. But I think, you can flash eui19s modem over it. This may solve the issue.

Do you mean that the brightness slider and VoLTE are working?

brighness issue is solved after flashing kernel but volte is not working

No luck... Did everything! Wiping formatting! I am using TWRP, is it causing any problem?

the best oreo custom rom so far ... camera is basic but still is working , all working , smooth , fast , no lag or FC , installed magisk -running well as well google play
I think to stick with it but anyway somebody could show me a way to have big photos dialer (I hate those little photos dialling ) ?

Actually this rom is not much customize and has been built close to stock rom on google pixel whereas AOSP has many customizations. Hope we will get this feature in upcoming builds.

It should not happen, try reflashing the twrp and then flash the rom

One of the best stable ROM equal to miui,
Bugs-----
Video call on Jio,maybe others not tried
Charging % mismatch unfortunately sometime
If possible add another camera with manual focus and beauty mode
Music player not pre install,also app like noozoxide pro not working.maybe due to compatibility with Oreo.
Other than this,just one word a pixel in my hand

flash 19s firmware

anyone facing google maps issue? google maps is able to detect mine location but when I start navigation, routes doesn't move along with mine movement.

yes dear, I am facing the same issue on all oreo roms on XDA. In Nougat rom it was working fine.

In fact it works on this ROM well. Only in this ROM. Clean flashing will do d trick. I use navigation everyday to work.

Its deoxed and doesnt have any bloatware or chinese language.
This mod was made my modders with atleast 5 years of experience my guess is that its pretty good.
Ill post update after testing...currently downloading.

I used Xiaomi.eu on my mido and it worked great on that but on whyred there were a alot of ui lags in the previous versions that I tested. That's why I'm so skeptical about it.
Do post a review after testing. ?

I flashed it and it's laggy, sometimes Ui crashes.. so isn't worth imo

UI lags alot very noticeable, just wait for the fix before updating.

Before we start, I did clean flash.
Okay so I saw this Rom in depth.
The full screen gesture has some lag to it, not much and is not a deal-breaker.
The UI is fluent and and looks neat.
Adaptive brightness is more efficient.
It's battery efficient more than the MiUi 10 8.6.14 (I'd say around miui 9).
There are more settings in the additional settings menu(you will see it in the image attached)
Average free ram is 2.1GB.
The camera is same(if not better)
It has minimal Google apps.

It was fine for 30-35 mins

I´m on 8.6.19. Everything is running smooth as it should. Miui 10 is the most fluent rom ever in my opinion. Is it worth to switch back to xiaomi.eu 8.6.16? Can you tell me what additional full screen gesture they implemented in xiaomi.eu rom ?

To fix the lag, i would suggest to flash kirks kernel 1.4 for miui and freeze some stats and analytics apps using titanium.

Change to latest Kirks kernel and play with cpu governor, I recommend alucard or impulse if you want to keep battery life as stock and the lags are gone !

Is it me or quick charge is disabled?
My phone only charges max 280mA
EDIT: My charger failed seems I'm getting a new one

With Kirks kernel, GCam and stock cam work fine?

If you still have the rom installed, try flashing one of custom kernels from roms, kernels and recoveries section - it seems to be fixing the issue. I've had the same problem after installing x.x.21 version of xiaomi.eu rom (vertical animation lags especially seen when pulling out keyboard, app swapper etc), but flashing kirks kernel (version 1.5 for MIUI) actually fixed it. Its just as smooth as x.x.14 global beta i've had before.

Kirks was running fine. But I got the issue that Strange noises coming even If Phone is silent mode. Wirth every MIUI 10 Version.

Sounds are from miui 9 too.... Not kernel related....
Try disabling notifications for contacts storage in installed apps....! Kirks make miui eu rom smooth....

How about dual apps issue? Permission in dual apps partition becomes read only. Cannotnsend message with or recieve file attachment or photos in whatsapp

8.6.21 ROMS REUPLOADED
1. Fixed Sound settings FC for some users
2. Fixed recognition engine download issue in scanner app
3. Fixed wallpaper carousel changing wallpaper issue
4. Fixed wallpaper carousel translation issue for subscriptions
5. Fixed lock screen notification issue and fixed vibration for notifications (set priority to Urgent in Installed apps > (app name) > Notifications)
6. Fixed camera and URLs not working in Messenger Lite

Thinking about going crDroid or EvoX for a custom on my Poco.
Is there any way to install the Poco MIUI camera if I do?

Nope,
Miui camera: porting is difficult and when possible some features are missing.

It all depends on the model of the device but in general with GCAM everything works and you have several editable XML profiles.

You can try to install directly the latest MIUI Camera APK ported from latest MIUI. I remember that I found it last summer simply searching on google MIUI Camera APK. It worked on my old Arrow OS 12.1 rom some months ago, except for 64 MPixel mode that crashed the app.

Thanks for the tips and information, I'll definitely try gcam and the ported APK. Now to find which custom, so many to choose from.. so far settled on crDroid A13 but that could change. Thanks again.

I've found it searching 'MIUI Camera APK' or 'MIUI Camera APK Porting' using Google. But I don't know if latest APKs work on A13, I tested it time ago using custom rom A12.1 based... I remember that only 64 MPixel mode crashed the app, video and photo worked
