Miui 9 base modded rom? - Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Guides, News, & Discussion

While there are lot of miui 10 base modded roms like masik, There is no miui 9 base modded roms.
Since we got afflicted with ARB, all miui modded roms are based on miui 10.
I think that more than the half of the device owners still using miui 10 and they are satisfied with it more than head into miui 10 beta.
I know that miui 10 is the future of the device but the recent stable is miui 9, and it needs some interest too.

Mi3 stable rom Android 4.4

Is there a stable rom for the Xiaomi mi3?
Now I use the unofficial cm11 build, but the phone sometimes reboots automatically and battery life sucks![emoji22]
So besides the Miui roms are there roms thats pretty stable because I can't find official supported roms.
Hope someone knows.?

Cusrom MIUI Based

As far as we know xiaomi.eu not releasing cusrom for Mi4i again, even Global Stable v8.0.1.0 for Mi4i has been release 2 weeks ago.. its because xiaomi.eu make rom based from Chinese Stable..
i think its time for Mi4i Developer starting making cusrom based from Global Stable.. Another reason in Mi4i Development also too many cusrom based AOSP, no cusrom based from MIUI..
No Need hardcore modification, just debloated Chinese useless Apps, Deodexed and adding feature likes xiaomi.eu thats not in Global version..

Need a good kernel for miui 8 note 4x

It's a matter of sorrow that Xiaomi Note 4X doesn't have any good kernel which supports Miui 8 with lots of features, I saw some kernels but those were for AOSP Based Roms. But the stock Rom needs a good kernel.

Redmi note 10 pro

Hello guys. I have flashed "Miui by pappi54" rom on my redmi note 10 pro. All works fine, but I want to get root. I tried with magisk 24.1 but when I'm flashing it in orangefox recovery, phone stucks on boot logo. Is there any other way to get root? Thanks
The redmi note 10 pro comes with miui... Why did you flash this other miui "by pappi54"?

This version is 13.0.2
Official version is 12.5
But 13 is in beta dude.. the redmi note 10 pro is in the support list for the official global launch of miui 13. till then, either use a stable custom rom, or stick with 12.5. using a beta, and especially a beta of miui (which is well known for bugs in its stable releases) is not a good idea..
This may also be the reason as to why you're unable to root it, and you may also face many other issues.
I recommend that you switch back to miui 12.5, or even 12 as 12.5 has a couple of bugs too. If you want a custom rom, dotOS 5.2.1 is an android 11 rom with a ui quite similar to miui, while also bringing all the benefits of a custom rom, if you'd like to give it a go, here's a link:

A beautiful custom ROM based on AOSP, which endeavors the essence of Simple, Unique, Secure.

Thanks a lot
Now to answer you're original question (if you STILL want to give that a go),
Have you tried kingoroot? It's not always successful, but it is possible that it can one-click root your phone.
Another option is to try flashing magisk v23, then update it through the magisk app, as i had some issues flashing magisk v24 on my galaxy j5 running android 11.
You could also try using supersu, or some other rooting alternative instead of magisk.

Looking for a kernel for my Poco X3 NFC

So, i just got into custom roms and kernels because of my wish to move away from the bloatiness of MIUI, but i lked how it looked and flowed, so i installed oneOS, since then i've been thinking "is it possible to push my performance and/or battery life farther?"; i have been searching for custom kernels to do so, do anyone have any suggestions?
assuming you're using OneOS which is MIUI based android 11 then there's no custom kernel for that, because Xiaomi didn't release the source for MIUI A11 kernel
