i tried to install with twrp when ever i try to do that i get error message "invalid zip file format"
ive heard that there is WIFI model and LTE model, im sure that i dont have the LTE model.

Have you tried using the official recovery images/procedure from nVidia?
I believe the partitioning changed from what 5 used so you'll need flash the appropriate .blob to repartition.
Original K1 recovery images can be found here (including original factory image):
https://developer.nvidia.com/gameworksdownload
(search for K1)
Edit: Actually, not sure, but the K1 may have been 6.0 (Marshmallow) from release.

Worlds Most Complicated Issue - HELP!

My TF is in a complicated mess because im stupid!
I need your help XDA Community!
My TF was rooted with KRAKD rom. I decided I wanted to unroot my TF and followed what seemed like a popular guide from theunlockr.com
And it worked except it rolled me back to the stone age - 8.2.3.13
Naturally I connected to my WIFI network to update to the latest version but it kept saying that there's no update available so I thought I would give a manual update a try which I have done before so I know I followed the correct procedures.
In asus recovery mode the loading bar pops up for a while then the triangle with the exclamation mark appears. When I booted it a window popped up which read something like "update failed (12)".
Then I tried something I saw in a forum which apparently is another way to do a manual recovery. Renaming the zip file to EP101_SDUPDATE.zip and leaving it on the root of external SD or internal (tried both) and booting in recovery. It didn't work.
So I stupidly thought that I might aswell try rooting it again with nachoroot and flash recovery then flash the latest stock rom. Well what happened was that it rooted but I could not flash CWM following any methods. The one click recovery installer apk didnt work just said file parsing error. Tried doing it through ADB but always eventually leads to permission denied.
So I have a half rooted transformer with 8.2.3.13 on which razor claw and one click recovery cant be installed and I cant update it to the latest firmware.
Device Details:
Model Number: EPAD
Android Version: 3.0.1
GPS Version: V1.2.4
WIFI Version: V5.248.35
Bluetooth Version: V6.12
Kernel Version: 2.6.36.3-00004-g069b8b5 [email protected] #1
Build Number: HRI66.WW_epad-8.2.3.13-20110511
Dont have a mobile dock.

NVFLASH doesn't seem to detect my device
When I put the TF in APX my computer recognises but when I run NVFLASH it doesn't detect it plus I can hear the Windows 7 disconnect sound only when I run NVFLASH.
The drivers seem to be fine.
did you even install superuser from market after you rerooted?
Get the 8.6.5.23 ROM, put it on your SD card and make 2 copies, name one WW_epad-user-8.6.5.23.zip and name the other EP101_SDUPDATE.zip, I find the first one is good enough, but having multiple copies can't hurt.
Now try to let stock recovery flash your SD card file
That worked for me..(the 8.6.6.23 is for the tf101G, but it works as well on mine which is standard tf101, if you happen to find that one, just name the zip file appropriately)
Let me know if this works, your problem is not complicated BTW haha

[A511] [29-06-2012] Stock firmwares

Possibly it's better to split A510 and A511 stock rom firmware list?
Here's the list of A511 ROMs I have found (looks like just one downloadable so far):

I'm in a similar boat (bricked my device and somehow need to flash something to have the tablet boot). Can't we just use the firmware linked in the OP? It might not be the german version but I suppose we could still flash it and just change the language or something? Anyway, that's what I'm gonna try as soon as my SD card arrives.
Is it possible, to install the english OS on a "german" tablet?
Or encounter some problems?
English itself, shouldn't be the problem.
I was wondering whether I might get some helpt flashing the "Acer_AV041_A511_1.011.00_WW_GEN1". My Tablet has been bricked for some time because I (stupid as I am) tried to do a factory reset using the recovery provided by nikagl even though he specifically said that we were not to do that (I did read that warning but after a few weeks I just forgot about it :/).
Anyway, I've installed the cmw recovery by nothrills and tried to flash aforementioned firmware. I put it on an external SD card which has been formatted to FAT32. I went to the recovery menu and tried to flash the zip file. However, I got a getprop(product.name) error and the installation was aborted. After browsing the board a bit I found out that I have to delete the line starting with 'assert(getprop("ro.product.name")' which is located in META-INF\com\google\android\. But still, the tablet won't flash the firmware. It simply says "Installation aborted. Status 5 [or 6]".
I've also tried flashing the firmware by going back to stock recovery, renaming the firmware to update.zip and starting the tablet by holding the power and the minus button which is supposed to start the flashing process automatically. However, that just results in a red " ! " and an Android lying on its back.
I'd really appreciate it if someone was able to help me. (I've already sent the tablet to the Acer customer service who said that the installation of cmw recovery has damaged the motherboard. They say they will replace it for ~250€.)
Thank you for trying to help, I really appreciate it .
You have to edit line 1 of the updater-script in META-INF\com\google\android\
Delete this: in assert(getprop("ro.product.name") == "a510_emea_de");

That is mostly what I did. Except I used winrar instead of 7zip. The first line of the updater-script was "assert(getprop("ro.product.name") == "a511_ww_gen1");" and I deleted it. When I then try to flash the file it says "E:Error in /external_sd/Acer_AV041_A511_1.011.00_WW_GEN1 - Copy.zip (Status 6)"
I also tried renaming the zip file first but the result was the same.
Edit:
As it turns out, the Status 6 error does only occur when I edit the updater-script file with wordpad. If I open it with the editor it works just fine. I was able to flash the firmware. However, the tablet then wouldn't do anything else then showing "Acer" on the screen for ever and ever and ever and ever :/.
In the case you installed a A510 ROM (without 3G) and can't flash back to the original A511 to be able to upgrade to JB and have a working 3G functionality, cause CWM vomits status 7 or 4 errors while flashing the offered .zip, try this way

Just got this same Tab for my son & have been looking around for the best ways to root. It's actually a nice little tablet. For $65 I'm quite impressed.
Couple questions for you if I may.
-Does this download have any prerequisite downloads, surveys or ads before it's installed on my PC? You know, junk & not just the program.
-Which super user app is installed?
Kingo root comes with all the files you need with no surveys or bloatware. It installs its own super user program but I deleted it wit ha system app remover and installed super su from the play store. If you can, after you root your tablet can you pull the stock lenovo launcherHD and upload it to here. I deleted mine and you need it to change the lock screen wallpaper.
hI guys!
Good to see topic about our tab 2. Small question - any1 of you got lolipop update already? Week ago Lenovo said it's ready... I have so annoying touch bug and hope update gonna fix this.
The update is not out yet but lenovo said late summer so I would think it would come out sometime in august. Once it comes out can someone try kingo root on it, I'm not updating if I can't get root.

Well I tired to get a recovery on the tablet but failed. Mtk tool and sb flash didn't work since the tablet is write protected and also I don't think is works for media tek 8 series chips like it does with 6 series chips. I was going to build twrp but you need a unlocked bootloader to flash it and when I run fastboot OEM unlock it returns three dots. I think my fastboot drivers got messed up after I unhard bricked my OnePlus and that's causing it to return 3 dots. I will try another pc and report back.
Nope it still returned the three dots. Well I'm out of ideas to unlock the boot loader. Maybe a more experienced dev can do it or we can ask lenovo nicely.
Bootloader
According to a thread on the lenovo community... the device has a mediatek proceesor, which can be flashed without unlocking anything using their SP flash tool. Only downside is any custom roms would have to be built for mediatek and using a "scatter" file.
Thread: forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Android-based-Tablets/how-to-unlock-the-Lenovo-A3000-bootloader/m-p/1588718/
Stock Rom: androidxda.com/download-lenovo-stock-rom-models
Flash Instructions: androidxda.com/flash-stock-rom-using-smart-phone-flash-tool
The rom's source is also available on the Lenovo support site.
Unfortunately, I'm not expert at anything to make anything happen with this information.
---------- Post added at 08:48 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:41 PM ----------
Then again, all that may have nothing to do with the A3300, since it's all based on the A3000... but same processor type? doesn't seem like mediatek has any info on their site about it either.

It was like pulling teeth, but I FINALLY got TWRP running on this tablet. It was EXTRA painful for me because the tool I use asks you to select your device resolution and like a dummy, I actually picked 1024x600 (which is the device's resolution in landscape, but not portrait mode.) When the thing finished installing TWRP and booted up, I was locked out of the tablet because the touch elements for twrp to actually restart or even unlock the device ran off the screen making using them impossible. I had to wait seven hours for the battery to finally die before I could access the thing again, (thanks for skipping the reset button on the a7-30F, Lenovo!)
In a nutshell though, I started with Kingo Root, which was successful, and then used Easy Magic TWRP Installer made specifically for mediatek devices, found on another xda thread. JUST MAKE SURE that when it says "Unable to detect your device resolution" that you choose the highest res below 600x1024 (it was like 546x964 or something like that. I can't remember exactly.) After I had a working TWRP, I switched to chainfire's SuperSU
I hope this helps.

Let me know how it works...
The biggest challenge with installing a ROM methinks though, is that you have to use the SP Flash tool to actually upload a rom. I could be wrong... I haven't tried through TWRP. It took me so long just to fix my screw up that I put it down for a while. The SP Flash Tool needs some kind of Android Scatter file, (probably a Lenovo specific MT8127_Android_Scatter.txt), which I have been unable to find or figure out from the source. I'm just not that talented.
It IS entirely possible that just applying a rom via TWRP will work fine, but it's also likely that the system will bark at you. I'm curious to see what happens.:good:
Usually you can get the scatter file for mediatek device with mkt tools but the option is blocked out when I plug the tablet in. I downloaded the cm source but I ran into my first hiccup when I use cat /proc/mtd to extract the boot.img it won't show any of the partitions.

Yeah, I think the mtk tools app is unable to access the root shell on the device for some reason, keeping it from being able to grab the scatter. I'm not sure why it's not working though. I got SuperSU installed and running on the tab, but that application still fails to get to the root shell.
I can't find any time to work on porting cm to the A7-30; Can anyone else give it a shot.?

Digiland Dl701Q- Stock Firmware Download?

Digiland dl701q stock firmware?
This was a Digiland dl701q tablet handed down to me after it was stuck in a bootloop.
the Device despite attempting using stock and chinese recovery would not start up the OS.
adb did not work with the exception of sideload.
fastboot was operational
After four days on and off of trying to get the tablet to work-
this was the only firmware i could find.
mid713l-lp-lvds-20141226
flashing the system.img
did not work it just booted up to the digiland logo and the bootloop again. tried multiple times.
I flashed this^ firmware onto the tablet-
I was unable to make a backup or setup CWM custom recovery before the flashing took place- However all the other options that were available did not work, could not gain root either.
Looked here as well-
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/help/digiland-dl701q-looking-stock-recovery-t3005788
Current status-
the rom above was flashed to the device.
The tablet has a UBIFS CWM custom recovery-
The tablet boots up successfully but with some caveats-
the colors are inverted, and the touch is completely inverted "touching the top left clicks the icons on the bottom right"
Any assistance would be appreciated-
I'm just trying to find better answers than what i have right now-Pretty sure im out of luck but-
Thanks for your time and also for reading.
One positive would be, I learned how to use adb and fastboot, so thats kinda nice.
Again* If anyone has a stock rom or could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

That fool not going to share. Just throw it away and get an iPad or galaxy tab like I did They are cheap enough now. Not worth the headache.

In need of help with an HP Slate 8

Hey guys, I've tried my hand at self diagnosing this issue and with lots of man hours and research into this I have no idea where else to turn. The problem is with a tablet and the tablet in question is the HP Slate Pro 8 (or something along those lines). I've already been on tech support with Sprint (the company that gave me the tablet for free) and HP and none have really been able to help.
The specific issue is when I try to update the firmware, it gives me Status 7, Installation Aborted, saying that one of the system files is R/W and it recommends reflashing the device. The issue with that is that HP doesn't have a stock image available to the public as far as I know. My device isn't rooted or anything but I'd go through anything for me to be able to fix this issue. If you need any other info from me to help me fix it I'll be right here, just watching YouTube in another tab. Another important issue is for some reason, I can't reboot into bootloader, so that's a huge issue I think.
Things that I've tried: there was some support image on HP's site but when I tried to update through adb w/ that file, it said that the whole-file verification failed or something like that. Can't flash an image because bootloader won't load.
Things to note: The HP Pro Slate 8 is a very generic tablet. Also when I say it won't let me into bootloader, it either gets into a reboot loop or softlocks on the "Powered by Android" screen.
Same problem
Ever find a solution?
I wish
I kinda gave up on it, HP never returned a call that I had sent them and I didnt feel like fighting them for it. I might still have the tablet. I would recommend calling the HP support line and then like really stressing that this is an advanced issue and you needed the stock ROM for it. They'll give you a different number that you can try, and keep trying that other number.

Status 7 usually means the file being flashed does not match the device's model number or that the file is not compatible with your recovery. This happens when trying to flash custom software using a stock recovery or when trying to flash an unmodified stock file using a custom recovery.
Can you boot the device into stock recovery mode? If HP removed the ability to boot into recovery mode, that might be why you're getting the error because it requires stock recovery to apply the update.
