Hello,
Is it possible to transfer watch faces from one Google account that is bought or to see which is bought so I can get em.
The case is that I have gotten a Samsung Gear S3 from my father after he died recently :crying: and I know he bought some watch faces.
Watchfaces stay on Samsung account used to pay. If you log with this account you keep all you bought (like a Google account)
Hello,
Yes that what I though. But is somehow possible to transfer the paid watch faces to another account.

I recently purchased a gear s2 classic from swappa.com The device has activation lock on it. Since it is the verizon version, it is my understanding the other methods of removing this lock don't work with this model. (Like the guy on youtube that charges $40)
I contacted samsung and they said if we are unable to obtain the samsung account info and remove the device, you have to email them a receipt, and then mail in the watch to have the lock removed.
Does anyone know of any other options for the r735V verizon gear s2 classic?
Thanks!
I just setup Samsung Pay on my Gear S2 with Nexus 6P. Is there a way to join Samsung Rewards program without a samsung phone? I was thinking to enroll from a friend's Samsung phone. Once I set it up, am I still forced to use the pay app on a samsung phone to redeem rewards?
Good question. I also have a Gear S2 and a nexus 6p, and noticed that Samsung pay was now available thru gear manager. My wife has a galaxy s5 so I'll try enrolling in Samsung rewards on her phone and see if I get the rewards when I pay with my gear s2.

Quick question, do either of you guys have the S2 3G (Verizon) version?
interested to hear this outcome. I have an s7 and gear s2. Dont want to 'waste' a purchase using my s2.
I have used my gear s2 and S7 and both types of payments have shown up on my rewards points

Logging into samsung pay on my s7 doesn't seem to show any purchase info or rewards from what I have been doing with my Gear s3. I have the frontier on Tmobile so I don't have my phone connected all the time. I'm currently using it with the Honor 8. I'm going to try and sync my gear s3 with my s7 to see if somehow over Bluetooth it will sync the data as I have made many purchases with the watch over the past bit.
Just setup the Gear S Frontier on my GS7. Made a purchase and it updated my rewards. I lost all my rewards and history info though from when I was connected to my honor 8 (non Samsung phone). When connecting to a new phone the Gear S 3 does a light reset. I haven't done a purchase with the watch by itself and the phone at home but I'm assuming it will update once reconnected since it is now Syncing worth my "Samsung" phone and not my honor 8. If it doesn't I'll pay back here. Would seem awfully inconvenient if it would not do that and have to be connected at time of purchase. Would almost defeat the purpose from my point of view (with regards to rewards). You can only check your rewards in the S Pay app anyways so I guess it isn't surprising this doesn't work when the watch isn't setup with a qualifying Samsung device.
If anyone figures out a way to get rewards and your rewards card on the Gear s 3 please post.
I set up my Gear S3 and S7 and when I make a purchase with the watch, I don't get rewards points. I only get rewards points when I use the phone.
I have an S3 that it's working on, but i'm curious if I can install the app on my phone to be able to take advantage of promotions offered only from the app?? I found the apk and installed it, but it would not open.
When you pair a Samsung smartwatch or band Samsung manifests all the data required for the app to appear in the Play Store and work. So as a meatspace workaround you could buy an old, cheap Samsung wrist device that supports Pay and pair it.

I am using my gear S3 with a Google pixel 2 XL and am able to use the app on my phone. When you open the app in the Wear, it should prompt you to download the companion. I can't pay with my phone, but the promotions are available thru the Wear app
I am using my Gear S3 Frontier with a rooted OnePlus 6T and I am able to access the promotions through the Galaxy Wearable app and pay with Samsung Pay from my phone. I am able to use Samsung Pay by hiding the Samsung Play Watch plug-in in Magisk using Magisk Hide.
I searched and didn't see anything on this. My favorite watch faces on my Gear S2 Classic aren't available anymore in the Galaxy App store. Unfortunately, the Samsung account I bought them under got accidentally deleted (and I lost all my Samsung Pay reward points, too).
The faces still back up to my S2 under my new account, but when I use that backup to restore the S3, the particular ones I want don't load. I contacted the dev and offered to buy them again, bet he said he could not help.
Is there any way to get these faces from the S2, and put them on the S3? Thanks for any help.
So I just received my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic and after setting it all up I realized I can not get all the watch faces that I purchased through the galaxy store for my Galaxy Active 2. Not only that, but I can not even use the galaxy store on my Pixel 5 phone. Is there any way around this?
Current Phone: Pixel 5 (Android S Beta 4.1)
Current Watch: Galaxy Watch 4 Classic
Old Watch: Galaxy Active 2 (I still have it)
Afaik, my wife switched from active2 to watch4 and her old watchface was compatible but it was already downloaded in the wearable app and she just had to tap it for the new watch and it worked that's all I know
