Like I said in the OP, some kernel features may be missing (as I removed a bunch of stuff that my dad will never use). I'm not sure if you guys had F2FS before, but this build does not have F2FS. Have fun.
Thanks for you work @Sultanxda , this build is much smoother than bangprovn's, nearly everything works, camera works, wifi is stable, performance is better
Awesome , downloading .... It's still not the CM12.1, right? Would not be stable yet? Why on my S4 also is not with CM 12.1...
thank Sultanxda : D: D: D
Does it have support for the magnetic smart case?

Mine doesn't work.
Touch unlock does not work.
Netflix does not run.
Kernel max, mini does not change.
My first try to modify my tablet was today with this ROM.
After a little time playing with it, I noticed that the screen brightness does not change, so it is a little tiring for the eyes.
I hope these little things to be fixed in the future.
But thanks for the effort to get the CM on our little tablets!
one question
Sorry for question) But tell whether another update cm 12.1 for our violent tablet?
There is another kernel for this rom.

No... Using a different kernel anyway wouldn't make sense, as you'd lose all the benefits of the CAF kernel.
I was preparing to install this rom more just received the official update to Android 5.0.2. I will test for a few days and evaluate whether it is the best option.

NotesWARNING: Starting from April 9 build, this ROM will encrypt your device. If you get stuck in bootloop, it means that your data partition doesn't have 16 kB preserved for crypto footer. Either format your data partition with TWRP linked in OP or flash any zip that removes force encryption. Even if you don't have any issues, make sure you have a working backup in case encryption fails. If you're already encrypted, you don't need any of extra steps mentioned here.

Thanks dev:angel:
i had to give krasCGQ some thumbs up. so i logged in. thats all i can afford right now. he has done a lot for our beloved mido. thanks a lot man !!!
now some rant... not directed towards anyone in particular
i would love a regularly updated not too clutterred oreo rom. using aex 8.1 for some months. now that is not being updated anymore. pie roms have some naggings issues. signal, bluetooth, volte or maybe sim selection, network locking, sim turn off option not working or missing... and a lot of other small things that hurt peace of mind (i must check for OCD lol). i also hate the performance profile selections of los and derived roms. i would like to do my own or would use spectrum. thats why i love clean roms.
by the way, what is the security patch date of this rom ?? does sim turn off and network/band locking manual mode work in it??
??
Good Efforts
Very Stable and Smooth
Thanks for this ROM DEV!!
Thank you dev, downloading now

Does that mean, we will always have this issue? Since our blobs are old and xiaomi is not going to update them!

I currently use SDM blobs from payton to resolve screen blinking issues with CAF's Pie display tag, at least until Pie firmware for devices with similar SoC with us start to pop up.
