Samsung pay on S2

Does anyone have it working or know what's going on with it. All I have found was it was supposed to be working in November. Any ideas on it?

I emailed Samsung about it a month ago and they said first quarter of 2016. So as late as March 2016.

Yeah, probably will come enabled on Gear S3 and never on S2, so you have to buy a Gear S3. This is Samsung's marketing strategy.

Just bought the gear s2 classic T-Mobile and it has tap and pay pre-installed is this what you guys are asking about

Where are you located? I don't have that on my non-classic WiFi S2. Maybe it is only for the 3g models for now? I'm in the US outside of DC

I'm in Houston Texas. I noticed the software version is slightly different from the original gear s2

Are you able to use your T-mobile s2 classic to make purchases at NFC enabled terminals? We all have a "tap and pay" option listed under settings/connections/nfc, but so far, it does not work because Samsung has yet to enable the service with a firmware update (which it originally said would be enabled last fall, but then announced it had been pushed back to some time in 2016).
If yours actually works to buy things, that would be big news.

This is what it says so I guess not.

Gear s2 firmware for different countries

Hello everyone!
I bought a gear s2 Classic platinum (Bluetooth) in Germany
I've downgraded my gear s2 classic to pair with iPhone.
However There weren't any apps and wasn't worth it. So I updated but it only updates upto R732XXU2BOKK.
I think the firmware is not for the updates.
So my question is.... Does anyone has original gear s2 firmware for German gear s2 classic so I can flash it back to original?

gear s2 and samsung pay

I was wondering how in the world do I get Samsung pay to work with my gear s2 3g version please help

it does. only thing is that you have to have one of newest Samsung devices (Note 4, Note 5, S6, etc) that support Samsung Pay. Keep in mind, Samsung Pay does NOT works on rooted device...

yes I have the s6 so how does it work with the gear s2

I have a Nexus 6p any hope getting it set up?

It's only supported in certain markets right now. I don't believe it's working in the US yet

Can't speak for the 3g variant, but the secret to getting it to work on the Bluetooth version is to wait for Samsung to enable it in a future update.

Samsung Pay on Gear S3 in India

Samsung Pay is officially announced in India and works on selected Galaxy Devices. I got my Gear S3 frontier from US and decided to try Samsung Pay on my watch. To my surprise, Samsung Pay on Gear S3 works perfectly fine and accepts Indian Card. I tried HDFC Debit Card and my friends's ICICI Bank Credit Card and it works perfectly fine. Samsung Pay is working with some POI's with Gear S3 and for other POI's , the machine says International Card not supported.
I guess the International card not supported error will go once Samsung officially updates Samsung Pay app for Gear to work with Indian Cards.
Update (04/07/2016): The update to Samsung Pay for Gear app (Version: 1.3.1703) , now doesn't works on rooted devices. In other words rooting your device will break Samsung Pay. If credit/debit card is already (using older version of app) added then still payments can be made with watch.
Update (23/11/2017): @adfree @Quick Silver, @aslam4580 have found a new method to run Spay on Gear S3 (any region). The method is tested and is working for many users. Head over to post https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74602496&postcount=290 for instructions.
New cards can't be added on rooted devices
DON'T UPDATE SAMSUNG PAY APP FOR GEAR IF YOU WANT TO USE SPAY ON ROOTED DEVICES
Workaround: Use magisk hide to continue using spay app on rooted devices.

samsung rolled out a firmware update yesterday. did you got the update ? samsung pay is still missing after the update.

Yes Spay cc guy told me the samething. it will come with in few feeks

M not able to use samsung pay still
Cant get a workaround
Tried reinstalling

I am using a Gear S3 purchased from US. It came with the SPay app built in. You have to wait for the official update to roll out for S3 watches purchased in India.

Currently I dont have any Samsung Smartphone. I am using SPay on Gear S3. The watch is paired with my Oneplus 3 which is rooted. Can you flash complete stock ROM on your s7 and try SPay. If KNOX gets triggered then SPay won't work.

Currently its not working for the people who bought S3 in india, i am also passed safety net. (anyway saftynet nothing to do with samsung pay as of now) i have talked with samsung pay customer care they said that it will be rolled out before april end.. currently its working only for the people who bought it from US..

one of the samsumg pay support said it can go live anytime.wait for the update. i don't think there will a month delay.

Hows ur experience with the OP3 + Gear S3? Any challenges w.r.t features and functionality?
Also - From your post it seems Samsung Pay works fine if OP3 is rooted but safetynet passes using mahiskhide. is that correct? pls let me know.. thanks!!

wrong. root doesnt matter with Gear S3. if you purchased from US Then spay will work without any glitch. my friend using spay which imported from US. it wont work for those who bought S3 in india. update will come soon for Spay support
